Laya Joon, do you live in Iran? Fabulous country. I have many friends here in the US that are originally from the cities of Shiraz and Tehran. Must say, I've become quite the fan of Ghormeh Sabzi and Tahdig, thanks to their generous hospitality. Shame what happened to Iran post the '79 overthrow of the Shah. The US really messed up the status quo for the worse. One can only hope that Iran can return to its former glory once again.

Thank you. I'll try and post a video every 3 weeks - there is only so much to do in Singapore. Singapore Airlines cancelled my Christmas flights to Dubai last week so not sure when can travel again

Hi Mr K, Good to hear from you again and that you are keeping going.Good to see the Bay Area again though seemed much quieter don’t know whether I will get there again now though if I did it would be the Fullerton.Australia is the next long haul but almost certainly through Dubai at the moment though God knows ‘when’.

Like your reviews so much, thanks!👍 We had been there for 5 nights a couple of years ago and had the same room. No question, the hotel is unique, the pool is amazing, the views are great!
I have uploaded a trailer "138000+miles around the world" including MBS hotel to RUclips recently but have to say that to me, the hotel is really crowded by tourists and not that 5 star standard you get at Four Seasons, O&O or similar. I'm sure you understand what I mean as you have seen quite a lot top hotels so far. So for the next visit to SIN, we'll book at Raffles or Mandarin Oriental that is much more quite. However, MBS is a great hotel and I would definitely recommend a stay there as the pool is amazing! And SIN is a great city to visit!

Hi Mr K a couple of weeks ago you stayed in 4 seasons SG and previos to that the Regent in SG, in the Regent you stated the Regent was better than 4S but after your 4S stay i get the feeling you have changed your mind. Is 4S better than Regent ?

Club Room is fine. I reckon high floor Suite is best there - Orchid Suite for example. I've stayed MBS like 5 times, wanted to get the views in this video...

i was shivering in the pool. it took 5 takes to make the video in the pool at night - had to scoop down in the pool water to keep warm...
