I always wanted to visit the Maldives but as a solo traveler I thought that I might get bored there..honestly watching your video just made me think again about the Maldives,if possible to share informations about the hotel it looks amazing and how you got from the airport to there !plus where you took the covid test and how much?thank you so much for this amazing video 😊🤗💜
Honestly I thought so too but I read this blog post about a girl's solo trip and spontaneously decided to do it and thinking back it was my favorite solo trip I've ever done. Can highly recommend it 😍 Regarding your questions: My hotel was the Robinson Club Noonu Resort. Loved my time there. Due to it being a package trip I was picked up at the Male airport and brought to a lounge. Someone working for the hotel then organized a domestic flight to the main island of the Atoll. From there I was picked up by a boat that brought me to my hotel. I took my Covid test with the doctor at the hotel (almost all resort islands have a doctor) . If I remember correctly it was around 120 USD. I really hope you'll be doing this dream trip one day. It's a once in a lifetime experience ☺️🤍
@@jazminangelique Thank you so much for answering my questions 💜 if possible to give me the email or contact number of the person who arranged for you this package trip if you still have it!
I’ve always thought the Maldives is a destination full of couples but it’s somewhere I would love to go to. After seeing so many vlogs about it, I’ve put it on my list.
Oh me too. I only did it because it was the only place that was open and I needed to get out of Europe after the long lockdown we had in Germany last year. I wouldn't recommend it for first time solo travelers as you have to be really comfortable by yourself and it's different from staying in hostels and less social but other than that I highly recommend it. It was one of my fav trips.
@@jazminangelique okay thank you. Yes, I live in the UK so I might travel to a European destination first. I’ve only been on short breaks in the UK by myself so far. Thanks for the advice 👍🏽
who caresss if mainly couples go there, it is a gorgeous place, point blanket, im planning to go to, sooo damn excited. that is something i could only dream of, i swear. but why not make it true right 🥰😍😍
@@InhaleSkyExhaleStars yes you’re right. I’ve already got some quotes and hoping to visit next year because it’s a beautiful destination and there’s so many solo travel vlogs to inspire and motivate solo travellers 😊👍🏽
I also always thought that it’s only for couples. But now I’ve booked a solo trip to Maldives for myself. It’s a all girls group trip. And it’s my first solo trip ever. Did you book yours yet?
Hello i wondered if i could travel solo to Maldives and watching your video made me gain confidence to do so. Would you let me know if its safe for women to be there alone? Did you get scared staying there all alone? You looked sooo happy when you said its your money and youre spending it the right way ❤i wanna do that 😁
Glad my videos helped you decide. I can definitely assure you it's safe for women. The locals are the most friendly I've ever encountered and I never felt unsafe or out of place. Would 100% recommend it 😍
Which resort did you live and how was the WI-FI over there , planning to go to Maldives this month alone, after watching your video I think I will take the trip
I stayed at Robinson Club Noonu. I have another video where you see more of the villa I stayed in as well as the resort. Enjoy your trip. I'm sure you'll have an amazing time ☺️

Generally speaking the Maldives are very safe and the people there are the friendliest I've ever met. If you are comfortable being by yourself I think the Maldives are perfekt for your first solo trip.
@@jazminangelique thanks. i dont have insta at the moment. i did have a question... when you go on vacantion and u need to change money, where and when do you do that?? cause when u arrive, you may have to have money for the taxi perhaps... where do you change
@@InhaleSkyExhaleStars I know many people say it's better to just withdrawl when you arrive but like you said when you need to pay a taxi or simply don't have time to find a ATM at the airport (due someone picking you up etc or bus you want to catch) I exchange money beforehand. Doesn't have to be much but just enough for the first day or so until you find a ATM

So its far from boring going solo if your going for the snorkelling ?
To me it wasn't but it depends on each person. I'm also not a huge snorkeler so I was fine the few times I went.
How much it cost you this hotel ? I don’t find it on booking
