I have to say, Marylou was beautiful before the surgery. She had such a cute face before. What the doctors were able to do to build the structures in the face is amazing. The transformation of that tiny little girl who was afraid to be seen in the beginning to such a confident young almost teenaged lady. She has such a bright future. It had to be hard to leave all her new friends in California and go back to such poverty. I wonder if she will be determined to move out of poverty and show the people back home that there is more to life if you are willing to work . I pray she will grow and have a fantastic life. That she will find love and have a family of her own. Thank you to everyone who worked together to give this girl a new life.
Yes! You have an inner beauty that comes out in your joy. They just made the outer beauty come out for everyone to see. I wish there were pictures from now to see how straight your teeth are. I pray you have a very happy life.
@@meryloubarriga2 I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She loved you muchly. How old are you now? I have one daughter and one granddaughter. We live in New York state. South of Rochester. Do you still need surgery to make adjustments since you are still growing?
And when it is time for Merylou to return home I wonder what happens to all of the toys and stuff in the room she stayed in while with her surrogate family during her time in Los Angeles

I'm so sorry to hear that Merylou at first was shunned which I'm sure was not nice but in the end I'm glad made new friends with the family she stayed with until it was time to go back home to the Philippines (sorry if I'm not sure how to spell that country's name)
