Forgotten Children Of The Ukraine (Child Documentary) - Real Stories - Кино
At 1:26, there’s a little boy off to himself on the left side of the screen sitting down. He’s rocking back and forth. This is our son. We adopted him 2 months ago. 😊❤️🇺🇦
Bless you
I would also like to adopt some! Sasha for example!
Are you European? What was the process like? I’m interested in fostering and adopting and id like information on the process.
Burt C0caine no American.
That is wonderful. How are things? It was 4 months ago now that you have posted. Any updates? How long has he been with you all now?
Sasha was adopted by an American couple and is virtually unrecognizable now. Happy ,well fed and is having speech therapy and learning to talk. One happy ending at least.
thank God I could certainly see the intelligence even though he was so sick Thank you God
I'd love to his progress after all this sadness..any link? This is just..no words for it..I wish I could save them all and I commend Nicolai for such a great heart and passion...
I,am so glad to read this , what a teribble situation they can be operated or be well in there health for those children my heart is crying 😭 I want to do something about this
💕💕💕🙏❤️👍🙋❤️
that’s great to hear. i was literally thinking to myself that if i could i would 100% adopt him.
That child with no limbs is an absolute super hero, flipping around, and doing everything on his own....faster than most people walk! I am amazed by him
I agree, do you wonder how he is now? My brother was born with Muscular Dystrophy and died as one of the 5 oldest man in America. Many never see their 20s and he made 54 Rip brother. Id take care of a disabled child as they need love and care too.
Lyosha could be the best break dancer in the world
FLIPPING BOY CAN TRULY FLIP🙂
GIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TODAY
So, go adopt him.
I feel that child that was on the breathing mask, the one the women were arguing with incompetent doctors about, actually understood everything and just is trapped in her own body and cant speak. Bless these kids heart. This breaks my heart

@A_ DissidenT It's hard to believe yes...
Why do they make it so difficult and expensive to adopt children?! I would love any one of these children. I lost my fertility at 26 and never got to have a baby because of cancer. I pray one day I will be a mother and give a child all the love in my heart.
It’s people like you that; SHOULD certainly be able to adopt. Generally speaking, if one is single: it’s even harder to adopt. They usually take favour over married couples…………. All the red tape one has to go through/ also the expense , just as you mentioned is completely unacceptable. These poor kids have to suffer: not having the proper loving and nurturing that they so desperately need and deserve. Makes any heart ache for them. 😥😥😥😥
Unfortunately it's because there are many sick folks that would abuse the system if it were lenient and in turn, abuse and mistreat the adopted children, it's so easy to do that to a child that has never known love.
Agree. They should be making sure the kids aren't being adopted by pedophiles or abusive people (i.e. check their criminal background) other than that they need to make it easy to adopt. Here in America we are filthy rich compared to the rest of the planet, there are many here who would adopt if there weren't so many restrictions and so expensive. Like the age limit is ridiculous, alot of people finally have the financial means when they're in their 40s and the maturity to make good decisions. How can having older parents be worse than an orphanage that can barely hang on and almost zero healthcare?
Cheyla I wish you all the best and hope you achieve this one day soon . These children should be given up for adoption free of charge and be given to loving people who can take good care of them and improve their quality of life by surrounding them with love and support ❤️
@@KhadaJhin04 they can still carry out the necessary controls of the families without charging enormous fees ...,
Imagine what a little love could do for these children, a cuddle a little affection, kind words could start a wave of healing in itself.
My heart is breaking as a human, as a woman and as a mother.
We don’t need to imagine. Oksana Masters was adopted from one of these poorly run Ukrainian care homes. Her parents encouraged her to pursue adaptive sports as a way to deal with the anger and trauma from her time in the care home. She’s one of the most decorated Paralympic athletes ever, has medals in 4 different sports, and hasn’t missed the Paralympics since 2012 (winter or summer).
Obviously not every disabled child with the opportunity to do sports will become a paralympian, but the difference between her life in Ukraine and her life in the USA shows what’s possible
😢😢😢 so true . All these children without real love
My heart goes out to these children and their caretakers especially now in this time of war. I cant imagine the additional amount of stress and trauma they all must be going through. God get them through this...
Whats going to happen to them now because of the war? Sad
Yesterday there was a headline that Russia has taken 2000 orphaned Ukrainian children away to Russia.
They're either going to get bombed or vaxxed into the afterlife
@@meeeka RT had done several documentaries on these places and it put them on the map as a point of contention. One of Patrick Lancaster’s videos from 3-4 years ago, while he was preparing to rebuild a kindergarten in Donbass, bombed by the filthy Asovs..(you know, the “brave Ukrainian troops” our media and politicians are fawning over)-he was talking to parents, a couple who had disabled young children. They were actually grateful the Govt in Kiev had cut ALL funding to things like schools, hospitals, care homes, etc. They said they had all become places of horror and the Govt had been forcing the children to work in the coal mines instead of school. One mom said they preferred to come together to raise, teach and treat their children. Russia sent help when they could & MSF was eventually able to bring enough doctors in to re-open the hospital…at least until it became one of Asov’s primary targets again last month.
What shocks me more than anything is we have HUNDREDS of documentaries about the corruption, barbarity and blatant abuse of Ukraines Govts these past 8 years; documentaries on the genocide of over 14,000 people in Eastern Ukraine, all at the hands of the proudly self-proclaimed NAZIS who see Eastern Ukrainians and Russians as “cockroaches unworthy of life”. Politicians in Ukraine, notably NOT the ones banned and booted last week, have speeches on RUclips bragging how they won’t allow a penny of Aid money to go to the “lazy cockroaches” in Eastern Ukraine. But guess what? Although, at the moment, these videos and documentaries are still on RUclips-mention them, and you are attacked for spreading Russian propaganda. Nazis? Well yea, they filled Ukraines military during a BBC documentary last year-NOW? They don’t exist and if you say otherwise, you love Putin.
I feel so sickened for these children because with a Govt who thinks of them as less than human? And I can promise the billions being pumped in for aid for the people..will NEVER make it to the children who need it most.
@@elaineg60 RT......troll. there are orphanages like this in many former eastern block countries. Russia the savior lol
We adopted 2 daughters from Ukraine- both are disabled. We love them so much. They came from an adult mental institution
Are they adults then?
They were 5.5 years old & 7.5 years old when we adopted them from an ADULT institution! Today is actually the day 8 years ago that we met them. We were in Ukraine for 2 months.

That’s beautiful! You and wife have such a loving heart. ❤️
Yvonne Clanton Yvonne could you not find any in your own country? Orrr...
I hate that they talk terribly about these children in front of them, as though they can’t hear or understand.
its not about them. its the health problem. and the awfull condition and neglect.
I thought that too bit even if some did not understand the words, the tone of voices was upsetting to one little one I noticed
They're babies. They don't know or understand. So precious. They get free tickets to heaven.
@@kionamcnutt8630 Kids are sponges. They understand more than you'd ever realize. A free ticket to Heaven isn't going to cure a lifetime of suffering and being mistreated. They deserve help while they're alive, not only once they're dead.
@@susanazarhov1985 people understand a lot though. For example I work on a Dementia Unit. One of the other workers said something that upset me and before I even could think to make sure i didn't have an expression of disgust a resident came to me and said "Do you want to yell and scream?" I said "oh no, of course not. Im fine." She had no idea what the other person said to me. She just saw the look in my eyes - as my face was covered of course. and she was trying to ask if i was upset. She is not high functioning and even she picked up on my distress at a comment.
Boris, who was able to leave the institution, is so well spoken. He acts and speaks better than a lot of adults who have never been in his situation

With his perspective having been raised in the system and his clear ideas about being productive, health and learning skills to live with others and community, he has so much to offer.
Does anyone has any news from him now during the war? Any way to enter in contact?
The man running the children's home, Nikolai, is one of the strongest men I have ever seen. Strong and unbelievably compassionate. He is a hero.

You know what I'd love? For adoption to not cost $30-40k. Thousands and thousands of these beautiful kids would have a home with at least one loving parent 💜
I would adopt 1 or 2 if adoption wasn't so high. I would get them the right treatment and they'd stay in my home. Not a prison.
Amen!
EXACTLY
I looked into it when I was looking into leaving my husband. As a single, under 30 single female, it was so expensive, even for a single upper middle class household, not to mention all the other countries that refuse your adoption based on your single status, regardless of being able to care for the child.
Cassandra Messing If you’re still interested in adoption and you’re living in the US, adopting children from the foster system is actually either free or *extremely* cheap (next to nothing). International and private adoption is where things get *very* expensive, which I think is just awful. No child should have that high of a price tag in order for them to be rescued from horrific orphanages where even their basic needs aren’t being met on a regular basis. I have never understood why the price tag is so high, in addition to why so many countries are overly picky on what prospective parents they allow to adopt children who are in that country’s care, especially when those children are costing that country money that they seem to not want to spend. Some refuse to allow single parents, have restrictions on age, how many children someone already has/ the ages of their children, and even more ridiculous qualifications that need to be met, none of which really measure someone’s ability to provide a child with a loving home where they will be cared for. It’s so sad, because so many people would love nothing more than to give these kids a loving home, but instead these children remain forgotten and abused. It truly breaks my heart.
I'm in the medical field, not in Ukraine but in another country where there's an epidemic of parents signing their babies, especially disabled ones, over to the state. Somehow of all the things I've seen, this has consistently been one of the hardest things to deal with. I would look at those babies looking so innocent and happy and just feel immense guilt over what's going to happen to them. I would always try to pick them up and play with them even for a little bit because maybe nobody else will. I'm not justifying the actions of the doctors in the video, they were 1000% wrong to not take any responsibility for the ill kids whatsoever. But it's easy to just lose your humanity when society is structured this way.
It makes me wonder why the country is being wiped out. These kids have been suffering for too long. No one does anything about it

@@annie68164 It's awful but for some of these cases, even top medical professionals would only slightly prolong their lives and make it somewhat comfortable for their remaining time. Prolonging life like that isn't enjoyable for anyone, even the kid. They deserve to live but its impossible. The little boy with no feet and hands for example could most definitely be rehabilitated and helped, and with good medical care could even get prosthetics etc. but some of those in there are beyond repair, and we should be looking to the fact that a lot of these are probably caused by drink/drugs/miscare during pregnancy, if the mother cant take care of herself the little baby will never grow or will be deformed with severe health problems. Should be restrictions on who can have birth really, crazy as it sounds.

If they just had someone to hold them hug them and aside from that for many with mobility issues give them some basic physical therapy. There is much love in this video. I am a nurse in USA, there are plenty of children like this here too.... I have cared for them. The elderly are an interesting group too here in USA. The elderly work all their lives, only to have their homes taken to pay for care if they get on Medicaid, and their families will lose all.
Yes exactly! I think its MORE shameful here America is the RICHEST country in the world , We have BY FAR the worst healthcare and eldercare system among developed countries . Half a million Americans go broke and or lose their homes every year .The price of Healthcare here IS that bad . Even if you have insurance ....
@@sarahtiferet9025 but Americans keep voting for that system. They don't want universal health care or single payer system, like other wealthy, civilized & sane countries with better health outcomes & life expectancy b/c of it. They'd rather pay $15000 for an ER visit & $7000 for dental care & $1200 for a single MRI & $4000 for a 5 mile ambulance ride. It's maddening how moronic many Americans are continuing to vote against their own interests & the best interests of all Americans by continuing to vote for a For-Profit capitalism health system that screws them over their entire lives & takes their income & homes to pay for that care & system. I will never understand the dedication to insanity. The fact Americans are actually dumb enough to literally want a for-profit healthcare system & want a hospital stay to cost $400,000 instead of vote for a system that makes that obsolete & affordable for all, is mind blowing. No other civilized, wealthy, sane country's residents have to worry about losing their home for an ER visit or for a root canal. Only in America can ignorance thrive to such an epic illogical degree that individuals choose this draconian system on purpose for identity politics, over voting for their own best interest & interests of a whole better, healthier society. #FreeDumb thrives & drains Americans bank accounts b/c they vote to bankrupt themselves & enable the for-profit system and the wealthy & corporations instead. Boris seems to have what it takes to be a motivational speaker.
Having worked with learning disabled adults here in the UK I found it appalling to see how they are treated in the Ukraine. What a disgusting system. Those poor people literally written off. How fortunate that in this country, people with learning disabilities have rights and they are encouraged and supported to live in adapted housing with staff around the clock. I wonder how things have changed since this film was made and what happens now with the war raging there. I have cried throughout this film. It is shocking and heartbreaking to see so many children and young adults suffering this injustice. Bless all of them and also the staff who do what they can with limited funds and regimes.
Boris put on a suit and tie just for them, showed great manner and charisma and had so much pride in growing his vegetables to keep his family fed and healthy. He said; "You can create a fool from a smart guy and you can also create a smart guy from a fool". He is the best example of an upstanding citizen whose system ostracised him.

That IQ testing was beyond ridiculous. They are assessing their ability to learn with questions about things they have never been taught! Even the "how old are you" question in unfair- how would they know that? No one recognizes their birthdays at the orphanage
Rachel Lyons I was thinking the same thing. How can they even think that’s fair when they haven’t been taught?!
I do believe that was the point the journalists were making. the test was idiotic. all children should be attending school from age 5 to age 18, no matter where they start from. you never know. blessings for the people helping these precious children. blessings for those who adopt them
The thing is, the kids were allowed to go on and attend the school--I think even the one who didn't know how old he was...thankfully, they were given a chance to learn
that child without legs is smart. Another one need one operation. Some of them need reabilitation. Only few are .... in very bad conditions. Nobody wants tp help them.
That was a very intuitive observation from you. I wasn't even thinking of this 😔
I can’t comprehend why a hospital wouldn’t have medications to administer to a child. Yet even more mind boggling the doctors are standing there arguing wanting her to go to a hospital. Makes zero sense to send her to a hospital if they are not going to even do anything for her. Just heartbreaking.
Many countries in the world have hospitals in such a condition ... in you get out of Europe and the USA and the few other "Western" or "Northern" countries. Plus in former Soviet countries like Ukraine, there is the additional burden of the Soviet-style bureaucratic hassle and sense of fatality ...
What is the situation NOW (19/03/2022) for these children and caregivers? Why are there so many disables children? It is so sad.
The fact that kids who are only just slightly delayed are labeled as basically living dead there is a testament to how ignorant their government truly is. Boris seemed very educated and capable yet he is labeled as an invalid.
At minute 10:41 it killed me that they even let that bug crawl on the poor child knowing she’s can’t protect herself from bugs . Should I not even be surprised? Speechless.
Ikr like freakin shoo that damn fly away from her! Ugh poor babies
Tv team also did nothing
I was like, "Somebody get that fly!"
I was thinking the exact same thing.
you got to have some understanding for some of these workers... they work in state institutions that are not funded nearly enough, have no proper care, no professional staff, education, specialized tools, in a state that has very little rights and reforms for the children with mental and phyical illness. they bunch up unwanted disabled children together, no matter if it's a mental disability, mild autism, or just a physical disability. so of course they're in a way hopeless. they know the state will never provide what is needed for them and the carers do just bare minimum. I work in an educational institution for such children. and it is very expensive and slow work to see any process in their mental development. took me two years to teach one child to wash his hands. one kid, two years! and I am teacher to just two of them! if a professional is lucky, they are able to teach 4 of them (mild mental disability) but usually it's only two children per educator. we also have assisstants that help us if children become too rowdy, other half of the building is their hospital with neurologists, speech therapists, and everythng in between. the problem is rooted in the government, not the people who are just doing their job at these places.
This breaks my heart! They deserve more help. My heart goes out to them and their loving caring staff! I pray they are not forgotten during this difficult time of war and they get more help soon! 🥰 May God be with you all!
Your god is with no one.
my father donates 500 euros a year to orphanages for disabled children in ukraine as my mum lived near an instatute and pitied them we decided to do it every year for 10 yrs already
Nice thing to do.
I love how nicholi really seems to care for the babies u can tell it's not just for show
dOCTOR sPOCK Indeed.
How heartbreaking is Boris and Misha???!!! I love how ambitious and diligent Boris is, studying etiquette and always dressed so nicely. The way they encourage each other and also make sure to run over to assist that elderly man who fell with his bike. They are special and I know that I will never forget Boris.
I'm crying seeing this, poor children. Sasha.. I wish I could hug and hold him forever. This must be so hard for the people who take care of them, but I'm glad you do. Thank you💖💖💖
The craziest thing to me, is that it is 2022 and this is STILL HAPPENING and ACCEPTABLE to people.
This hits hard. I was born in Ukraine and actually adopted by a family in Barcelona, Spain. I was only 2 years old when this happened, but I was extremely lucky of the family I had been raised. This is a huge problem in Ukraine, hope sometime soon it's been taken more care of.
The adoption system in Spain is beautiful
Putin is now taking care of this and all other problems in Ukraine. God really has a sense of humor. Fire and death rain on Ukraine as punishment for their sins. May it serve as an example fot all of us.
Many blessings to you my friend.
I'm very sorry about everything happening there and it breaks my heart to know right now is an even more strenuous time for these people with the heartless actions currently happening in the Ukraine 3/20/2022 it's hard to see the people who are overlooked and forgotten about who matter more than anything I truly wish there was something I could do to help
@@Cba409 what sins? Putin is a psychopathic nutter
the way Nastya (the girl with the cyst on her head) would clutch on to anyone who touched her just melts my heart and at 1:20:12 when she tries to reach out for the camera with her cute little hand, oh my.
*Nadia
Oh my gosh i know! The way she clutched onto the host lady's hand and then kept holding her hand out after she left just shattered my heart. She just wants love and attention :( 💔 not only that but her condition is treatable with surgery!...too bad where they are the hospitals and doctors are useless!
At the end of this documentary it states Nadia has the cyst removed but died shortly after. She was so precious. Fly high beautiful 👼
Nikki Sackett so sad, maybe they waited to long to remove it.
I work in a large childrens hospital in the USA. Our babies were premature and have bad lungs. Most have some degree of cerebral palsy. We take great care of them. The ones who have parents that come do so much better than the ones whose do not. When they go home with their family’s they thrive!! It’s so sad that some do not have families that can not OR will not take them home to care for them.😭😭😭
This Breaks my heart I feel so bad for these poor kids
May God protect these poor kids
I was adopted from Kazakhstan when I was a child. Seeing this documentary makes my heart break, but I’m glad to see that people are being made aware of these kinds of conditions which so many children unfortunately face as their reality.
Диана Севастьянова Bless You
The ladies at the end that were crying seeing the video update of the little ones that was adopted is definitely a reflection of the love they have for these children.
How can we call ourselves civilized when children like these un-cared for and abused
We must ask International Organizations to assist in the management and find Oligarchs who are prepared to fund retreats and clinics that service and support children will these exceptional needs
So where do we start ...... who's caring enough to start ..............
Ask the filthy rich people….
Seems to me us ordinary people very much WISH we could help.
Tax the rich and end oligarchy…. Too many people hoarding wealth and need to visit places less fortunate than them to get a major reality check.
A little love goes a long way when you feel abandoned. It sucks to be abandoned but I promise there are people out there who will never treat you the way you’ve been treated in the past. A little love may seem like a lot now, but don’t give up. There’s more love out there. Right here too❤
How was Borris considered to be incapacitated? Wtf he’s literally so well spoken
He"s highly intelligent! Hang of a lovely person too! I'd love to know how he and Misha are doing and Dennis.
He is smarter than 80% of adults I know currently.
I love how he wears a suit and tie, he has dignity even after all he's been through. Very inspiring man!
In the Slav area, a very mild disability (like slow development, a lisp, stuttering), can become a damning sentence for children.
God bless! Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and died on a cross for our sins so we can live again in Heaven where there is no pain or suffering! God is our Father and Creator and raised His Son Jesus from the dead! Confess and repent of your sins and God will freely forgive you! Trust in God and live for Jesus as He died for you! 💝
I am a single Mom. My son is 25 and has Down syndrome. He's been my greatest joy! I would accept any of these children into my loving home!
Thank God for you. ❤️
That's beautiful you must have a very beautiful soul .
Bless you. Unfortunately Ukraine doesn’t allow singles. Bulgaria is a good option. I suggest looking on Reece’s rainbow for information.
@@skylarr2729 maybe if they did accept "single" parents they wouldn't have as many children in these institutions and orphanages. Love from one is better than love from none.
you are kind and loving soul. bless you
That young man they interviewed in secret is articulate and aware of his surroundings, he even can name all his medications. Do they not retest? He doesn’t deserve to be there he is more then capable with some help live in his lone.
Thank you for this wonderful documentary and thanks to Nikolai and Tatiana and all those involved in caring for these beautiful souls. Please keep going, you are doing such a wonderful job and the fact that this is now documented will have a ripple effect and who knows what good will come of the exposure? I would love to be able to help in some way and I am sure I am not alone, but where to start?
Why are these doctors speaking so loud in the same room as the affected child? They act like she can't hear them or isn't there.
My thoughts precisely! Cld see she was stressing at their conversation which was very negative... sad - no practising of HIPPOCRATIC OATH from these 'medics' ... sad... sad.... sad....
Thats because that's what they actually do believe...I knew of a baby girl in that orphanage who had her leg and arm amputated without anaesthetic because the doctor said babies dont feel pain...and when she screamed he said it was because she was cold 😡
I was just thinking that myself. Seems like they did not take the Hippocratic oath of do no harm.
I caught all of that cruelty!
It made me terribly sad 😢
I wanted to say stop talking next her
This is a little child/girl she has feelings and they are traumatizing her (she started moaning and closed her eyes : it's a sign of crying)
Boris sounds so beautifully intelligent - his quote about “if smart people can become fools then fools can become smart people” really spoke to me - bless him. I see zero wrong with him - actually I see him as a better human being than most. What a fantastic individual he works harder than anyone I know and that’s beautiful - and to have such a fantastic friendship with Misha. What amazing men
You said it mate! God bless them in all their pain.
I know. Pitiful how he wasn't considered his own person?
Its ironic that he wants to learn how to be a gentleman, but he already is and I suspect always was
So sad for all these children
Would be nice to send clothes, toys, stationery, pens etc to give the children things to do. Nicoli is one amazing person with a heart of pure gold . Wish all these children a miracle. And the couple who adopted Sasha .. God bless you all xx
Not a story that the state want published
The director truly sounds like he does everything he can to help these kids and adults have a good life. It’s nice to seeing a caring director, not a neglectful one!!
He is , but the government does not support enough. We have same problem here in Bulgaria
@Sutty Don't be so sure . Britain's social service has huge issues.
the boy lacking hands and feet is seriously adorable. hopefully he’ll be adopted by a loving family sometime soon.
omg his so adorable if I had any means I do have taken him in heartbeat...
according to a comment from 4 years ago, he was adopted by someone in the US and got prosthetic limbs
Absolutely heartbroken them poor kids 💔💔💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is absolutely heart wrenching. Where are the now?
I was thinking the same……
I don't even want to know. 😢
It is hard to believe that the situation in these children homes has improved at all since the outbreak of war. If Ukraine wants to be part of the European Union they should be required to drastically change this situation.
We in the rich western countries can't blame Ukraine for their shortcomings. In Sweden we have lived in peace for more then 200 years. It's impossible for us to understand the situation for the people in Ukraine. Help the country not only with weapons but also with human resources. Ukraine should be allowed to be a member of the European Union.
They said Sasha didn't like to be touched yet every time someone touched him he beamed. Absolutely lit up! So glad there are people like Nikolai in the world and wish they could get the loving staff and resources they need to care for the kids.
No professional doctors, no nurses in the orphanage, makes me sick to this children suffer in pain
I feel bad for that poor dentist who is doing her best :c
Then offer some help
@@erinsorum9256 How? Most people don't know what to do or how to do it. It's not as easy as donating. I don't know about this country in particular but I would be surprised if corruption doesn't have a lot to do with the condition of these children. I have friends who supported a girl in an African country. Over the years she got a couple meals. Thankfully, they were finally able to adopt her. She was in dire circumstances.
Same in Bulgaria .
@Tony D I understand your pain completely. Sometimes life it's not fair
This documentary while being captivating was heartbreaking to the extreme. Nikolai and Tatyana are doing wonderful work.
Where are the toys, games, forms of stimulation? What has become of these kids now with war? You just want to snuggle and hug them.Boris is a true leader and can really speak for the plight of institutionalized kids, he managed on his own for so many years and blossomed with a little love and familY.It’s appalling theY use them for the slave labor. I hope he can become an advocate and speaker for the disabled community. Prosthetics could help the little bOy with no limbs so much. The group home is a positive start.
I was born here but I was adopted when I was very young. I'm thankful. I'm disabled and I don't want to think how I'd have lived there
They need to be loved, caressed and held as much as they need medical care. Touch is so crucial for child development. I want to shout "somebody pick them up and hold them!"
That's actually something that is being incorporated into the care of children and adults with a variety of disabilities! It's called therapeutic touch and it works absolute wonders! I'm screaming the same thing at my phone watching these poor children.
It’s a relief that you understand this fact because I don’t think most people understand how crucial it is
@@missmae7996 exactly. They have so many things in place for severely disabled people in my country. Special rooms with soothing lights, sounds and fabric for when they’re just by themselves. And.. there’s even specialised SW for disabled people.
I'd read an article years ago in a parenting magazine that talked about the issues that ensue from these kids not being held and spoken to lovingly like a parent would. Sometimes the people who adopt them can't handle the effects of it. People NEED love to thrive.
DID YOU SEE THE RATIO CARER/CHILDREN?!
The situation for these children and adults is beyond acceptable. They are the living dead. I hope to God things change for these people. It’s beyond belief that the country thinks it’s better to institutionalise rather than help them to be cared for by families.
It’s wonderful to see those children that are in the experiment to learn with hope of freedom. I can’t imagine how difficult and frustrating for the carers trying to change a system that is in the dark ages.
These documentaries break my heart. I’ve seen a few of them of the orphanages in Europe..Romania, Ukraine and Bulgaria . I just want to hug and play with all those kids and give them love. They need physical touch and loving care to grow. So in humane people can be. Little Sasha is so adorable and the little red head bed bound girl with those gorgeous eyes. Poor thing. I hope someone adopted her
@Something Of Everything ??
Boris is a beautiful man. I see nothing wrong with him... I'm glad he got the chance to get out.
the rest deserve it to. :(
Watching the RUclips channel Special Books by Special Kids has taught me that lots of disabled children can still have great quality of life with love , attention and medical care.
I love that channel!
Same I love that channel!!
Hate that face like an angel, voice like Barney the Dinosaur guy’s
Such a great channel. Ive been watching it since early 2016.
@@puntoofmystery6125 for real?
Scary to think, what these children had to endure and have to endure now during war… I‘m so sad for them 😭
All these tiny hands reaching out for love..I am absolutely heartbroken! I can tell these children aren't being taken out of their beds for months or get enough attention 💔
