╔ About the Purple Harmony pillow ╗
Purple offers three pillows, their original Purple Pillow, the Purple Plush Pillow, and the new Purple Harmony Pillow.
The Purple Pillow is a polymer-based pillow constructed with their patented “Smart Comfort Grid”, which is the same hyper elastic polymer grid found in their mattresses. This is unique in that unlike other pillows, there is no fill. The cover is made of polyester, spandex mesh, and nylon. The pillow is designed to be soft in the middle and firm around the edges.
The elastic polymer grid is intended to provide greater neck support, since it relaxes under pressure without losing support or breaking down over time. Its lack of fill allows air to move freely throughout the pillow, keeping it from getting too hot. Further, it’s soft middle and firm edge design provides is meant to provide increased support.
The Purple Plush Pillow is a more traditional and affordable option. This pillow is filled with “Smart Fluff” interlocking poly fiber puff balls for a more familiar puffy feel. Its cover is made of Lyocell and Nylon that has undergone a moisture-wicking treatment, making for a cool and breathable pillow that moves moisture away from the skin. One of the Purple Plush Pillow’s most distinguishing features is its adjustable fit. By zipping and unzipping its two expandable gussets, you can adjust the firmness of the pillow to meet your preferences.
The Purple Harmony Pillow is their newest option, providing a combination of their technology with more traditional luxury pillow materials. Its outer layer is lined with a unique variant of Purple’s grid. Instead of a square construction, the hyper-elastic polymer is arranged in a hexagonal pattern for added airflow. The core is made of Talalay latex, making it soft, breathable, and resistant to allergens. The cover is made of a smooth, moisture-wicking combination of nylon and spandex.

The cooling system of this pillow sounds great. As a side sleeper, I think this would be great. I often wake with a sore neck and have been thinking my pillow may be to blame.

Some great cooling benifits from the pillow's material. That's one bouncy pillow. I'm a side sleeper so this seems like a good choice for me. I sometimes sleep on my stomach and hug my pillow so I would need to take what you said about it "not being a snuggling or hugging pillow" into account. I'm interested in using the hyper-elastic polymer as a pillow.

Yeah I like it for propping up for reading or watching TV on an adjustable bed, but I experienced the same thing trying to sleep with it throughout the night, wake up with a neck ache sometimes a backache, I agree I also should have got the six and a half
Looks good also for being used as an under knee and between the leg pillow for my bad back.
I just ordered the Standard Harmony Pillow. I'm replacing my Original Purple pillow after 3 years because it's too "flat" for me as a back sleeper. I called Purple first and confirmed with them that the Tall version is designed for side sleepers only and most people would do better with the Standard version. With 100 night trial, I'm sure I'll love this pillow as much as my Purple mattress.

I just got the standard medium harmony, amazing for back sleep(6 foot, 165) but not as great as my pillow cube sidekick or pro for side sleep. I’m going to exchange it for the tall or the purple pillow with boosters.
As a strict side sleeper love the tall version and that it helps you sleep cooler

You mentioned a couple of times that you have a soft mattress...may I ask which bed? I just ordered the WinkBed Softer and am so very excited to get it as I have rheumatoid arthritis and chronic pain. My current Sleep Number bed is a joke...a very expensive joke. It’s just a glorified air mattress. I’m so happy to be getting a real bed! I enjoy and appreciate your videos🙃 I did receive my pillow from WinkBed and it’s great so far. It came very overstuffed w/ the adjustable fill of uniform gel foam cubes. I had to take out a lot to get it to flatten out some.
Seems like the 7 inch makes your neck bend too much.
Well this is good news for me, as I always thought their was only 1 purple pillow. I'm a strict side sleeper of short stature. Finding a pillow that has a loft short enough, that doesn't go flat and will sleep cool is hard to find.
I recommend the yellow or blue pillows for that
I’m 250 pounds I got the tall one because I kept reading that heavier people should go for the taller one but it’s uncomfortable. I feel soreness in my neck. I’m gonna see if purple will send me the smaller core. Also I’m a back sleeper plus I have the purple mattress and powerbase - this tall pillow is ironically no good if you are a back sleeper and use the zero gravity mode on powerbase

I have a MYPillow that I love, but being a side sleeper, I'm very intrigued by this new Purple pillow! I would have to have the smaller standard model, though.
I have three pillow cubes and a purple harmony and a myoillow… the my pillow has been useless fir two years lol. It’s not even close but maybe you might still find use to it

I'm so stuck on making the choice for a main sleep pillow. I'm a sidesleeper who lays on my back before falling asleep on my side. I'm 5'3" 142lbs. I'm trying to decide between the purple harmony, Saatva, or Eli n elm. I already have the layla kapok and like it at times. I wonder if the eli n elm is similar? Any suggestions?

@@jmcharles75 I returned the Eli n elm because it was a bit firm. It was worth it but only for an extra and I it was just going ok. Reminded me of the Layla but much firmer. I'm thinking of taking the plunge to a purple harmony.
Wait? I don’t get it. After sleeping on your side in the middle of the video you said that you didn’t like it bc you have the taller version, your neck was up too high, and felt a kink in your neck the next day. You then said you’d recommend the standard for that reason. Then, around 5:19 you say side sleepers will prefer the taller one? I know you may have been discussing personal preferences over the general public, but I’m left somewhat confused 🤷🏻♂️
