I Got Lost in the FIFA World Cup Stadium of Indonesia 🇮🇩

- While making my way back from Ciwidey to Bandung I saw this huge stadium. I asked some locals and apparently it was OK to visit Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. I went in, was impressed and even got a bit lost in this stadium that was hosting the FIFA U17 World Cup.
When I continued my little road trip I saw this lady selling edible snakes and I wanted to get a closer look. The water snakes were being sold alive in plastic bags.
On the way back to Bandung I had some delicious foods and found a beautiful lake spot that was slightly disturbed by an awful singer though.

With my RUclips videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!

Nice reflex, Tim on @30:00 😂
the seller girl can speak eglish fuently
Tim can always take us to see great buildings, such as future mansions and the FIFA World Cup Stadium.
It’s really special that the stadium is not finished yet after the competition.
I don’t know what it will look like after it is completed. It seems that Tim will come back here again in the future, haha!
Everyone should have guessed that Tim has never been in contact with eel, so please don't blame him, and there is no need!
You may not know that most famous eels in Japan are imported from Taiwan. It seems that Tim has another reason to travel to Taiwan!
Thanks for sharing a beautiful day exploring Indonesia, super great job! 👍🥰🙏
P. S.
1. There are two types of eels: freshwater and seawater. There are about 19 species of freshwater eels in the world.
They are rich in vitamin A and vitamin E, with the content being 60 times and 9 times that of ordinary fish respectively.
Among them, vitamin A is 100 times that of beef and more than 300 times that of pork.
Rich in vitamin A and vitamin E, it is of great benefit in preventing vision deterioration, protecting the liver, and restoring energy.
Eel also contains a lot of calcium, and its skin and meat are rich in collagen.
2. Bubble tea originates from Tainan, the hometown of director Ang Lee(Crouching tiger hidden dragon/Life of Pi):
The oldest known bubble tea drink consisted of a mixture of hot Taiwanese black tea, tapioca pearls, condensed milk, and syrup or honey.
Tapioca pearls (boba) are the most common ingredient, although there are other ways to make the chewy spheres found in bubble tea.
The pearls vary in color according to the ingredients mixed in with the tapioca. Most pearls are black from brown sugar.
The official English name should be "milk tea with tapioca balls".
Bubble tea(literal translation*)=Boba tea(pronunciation translation/larger size balls)=Pearl tea(smaller size balls)
*bubble:originally it was referring to those foams, which were teas made from shaker cups.
In Taiwan, boba can be replaced with the following: coconut jelly, aloe vera, pudding, popping boba, herbal jelly, mini mochi, ect...
Yg disukai kalo nonton video Tim ini senangnya kalo lagi komunikasi dgn warga lokal. Spt jaka sembung naik ojek. Gak nyambung jek...riweuh kusut. Wkwkwkwkkw

There are several football stadiums in the Greater Bandung Area. The two biggest are -the stadium in this video, Si Jalak Harupat in Bandung Regency which is home to Persikab that plays in Liga 2. Meanwhile the other one is the GBLA Stadium, located in Bandung City, home of Persib that plays in Liga 1.

Pertamax or pertalite
👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
@@ryuken8340 pertalite biar hemat 🤗
Please don’t spread misinformation. Those are freshwater eels, not snakes. In Japanese restaurants you would see _unagi_ on their menu, that’s the same thing, just different species. Snake meat consumption is not illegal in Indonesia, but since snakes are non-halal (not permissible to eat in Islam) it’s uncommon in Muslim-majority places. Of course you can still definitely get them in eateries that cater to non-Muslim clients because Indonesia is NOT an Islamic country that forbids the selling and consumption of non-halal food and drinks.
he did not spread false information, because this was the first time he saw an eel, that's why he said it was a snake because it looked like a snake. just chill bro
I didn't know bro but thanks 🤙🏻
@kilaneatssanddrinks, Not all foreigners who come to Indonesia for the first time immediately know about the culture, objects or animals in Indonesia, that's what is called culture shock, it's the same as if we were Indonesians going abroad for the first time.
@@timtense you're welcome, we all learn new things every day 🙏
You need pill chill
Lima Ribu is 5.000,-
😊
Not 15..000,-
Mungkin menurut dia 5 ribu itu sebutan untuk 15000..
Sedangkan corndog sama green tea 20 ribu😁
thats gasoline is local price, There are 2 types of gasoline in Indonesia, pertalite and pertamax, 10.000 is the price at the gas station for pertalite, and local only make a profit just 2000/ 1 bottle, and pertamax is 12.000, they sell 15.000.
and the ice tea he say 5.000 They don't understand what you are saying, just "yes yes and yes"
sorry for my english, i just type what i know in english
My man has a Spiderman instinct right here 30:00
That was quick
it is rice field eels, in japanese they say unagi. if you want to see extreme market like in Wuhan, China. you can go to Tomohon wet market, in Manado, North Sulawesi, they sell wild animals there for eat like: snake, python, bats, dog, cat, frog, monkey, reptile.
Oh wow, sounds like an interesting experience 😅. Did you taste those already?
@@timtense not yet, 😅😂
@@timtenseew No!!!
@@timtense as a Moslem we can't allowed to eat that kind of animal meat because it's non halal food (not allowed by religion).... That's why that kind of meat not sold freely in Indonesian market & restaurant.... Only the some non Moslem eat that in certain area, like Manado, etc....
That's not a snake, Bro, that's an eel. It's a type of fish that usually lives in mud in river water. It's very tasty and it's not an extreme food.
Oh okay, it looked like a snake. I didn't know
