You and your wife are in love, ya’ll are making money, contributing to the economy, teaching and influencing students in a positive way, life is good. I like the boat tours, they let the public know what is out there for sale and how much the boats cost, trust me, there are a lot more of us wanting a boat than there are people that own a boat. Watch your revenue and see what works. Keep on keeping on. GOD bless ya’ll.

I'm retired and doing some deep search for another boat.
Your videos are helping me out A LOT!
If not finding my perfect boat, at least learning what boats are going for in today's market.
Take care and deep doing what you're doing.

Thumbs up for showing the process. So many channels are zero to cruising, then epic fail. Take your time guys. The key to a great sail is NEVER being in a hurry and thinking before you act. Cheers!

As one of your loyal followers/subscribers, we appreciate you keeping us up to date on your life! Owning a boat is wonderful but can be a royal pain as well. In your case, yours is a work in progress and seemingly unending tasks. It sounds like you have made a flexible plan for its and your future. So many you get kids try to get everything fixed/completed as fast as possible with little planning or forethought. Patience is indeed a virtue and you kids really have that. I am sort of surprised to hear you are spending hard earned $ to look at another boat!

Showing boats from your point of view is great. Both of you are credible and show interesting boats with pros and cons as opposed to selling. Maybe this is a better focus as there are tons of other repair and sail videos and not many on the vast number of lesser known well built boats available on the market. Your perspective is important. Cheers.

Thank you for the update. It is delightful to learn more about your aspirations and efforts to achieve your goals. As I have previously commented, your boat tours are very entertaining and informative. Much better than the usual broker video tours. Glad to hear it is working out for you. Most importantly, you are both dedicated, focussed and clear about your goals....together and great role models. I have had a successful career but watching you guys....well maybe there were other choices. And that is what I have been relaying to my grown children, that life has many edifying alternatives if they broaden their ideas about what will really make them happy.

I don’t get all the hate about what your doing at all, you do what’s right for you the rest will follow. I like the boat tours, I think it’s fascinating to see how many ways you can fill “x” amount of footage. It’s kinda cool.
I do hope you hit the water sooner then next June for your sake (not ours), I think you need to feel the wind for a few days. Hopefully living next to Freebe will help that goal as well.
At the end of the day haters gonna hate and you should take it as a compliment as the bigger you get the more of them you will see. It’s kinda a badge of honor.

I've seen comments saying "you've strayed from the dock" and all that BS I personally enjoy the boat tours. Mostly the affordable ones that people like you and I dream about buying and fixing then sailing. I think that is a great idea to showcase boats for people who are dreaming or in the process of becoming full time cruisers.

Hi guys where to start. I totally understand how the boat tours was a hit......you do a very good job at filming and explaining the different aspects of different boats out there. You videos are great and I am sure alot of us really enjoy seeing what's available on the used market. Things we may actually be able to buy one day. I understand your not experts but u don't pretend to be. However I think you soon will be. You should look into boat brokerage and boat survey as an income. Would suit you perfect. And u could blend that with your RUclips channel as well. Anyway just keep doing what ur doing enjoy life and each other. I have watched enough to see your getting better at this all the time. Cheers.

Hi Jordan, sound like you Are really getting thinks together. The new apartment sound fabulous too. Smart to keep looking for alternate boats. Boat don't have to be forever boats . What you learned from the first boat demo/refit....worked out really useful for freebie. You are providing interesting content that is different from other channels and when you mix that with different content ....like a boat tour of some interesting boats you find in odd places!! You have options and your trying to stay out of the standard rat race but everyone has to have an income?
My only comment on the boat tours .....I can quickly do some web surfing to find more the backstory on the boats that you don't seem to know while your touring the boats. Should you add that ..dunno, your doing pretty good at the moment !. I'm still happy to provide my tiny support. But I enjoy the history of boats , builders designers etc....

Consider doing some videos with some boat professionals/surveyors etc where you could do walk through's on boats that are not on the market but they can point out the various things they look for etc - maybe some of these folks would do the videos for the business exposure. I think it would be cool to dive into the details of hull designs, rigging, electronics etc..

I'm really interested in what this (maybe) boat is that you're going to look at. Is it a monohull or multihull? If you like it, how will you get it down to Florida? Sail it or truck it? Oh and maybe it's a NEW boat that the maker wants to "give" to you. And effectively "advertise" for them every time you sail it and put up a RUclips video. Kind of like what LaVagabonde did a couple years ago. I wonder . . .

No worries. :) I'll be here.
FWIW on the boat tours, I have been skipping them after the first few because I just don't have an interest in those boats, not that I don't have an interest in you guys. They're just not aspirational boats for me. Even if someone gave me one for free, I'd just sell it and use the money to buy a smaller boat. I've had my share of one-more-foot-itis, and felt the buyer's remorse when the upkeep costs skyrocket. I'm now in the "how small can I go with reasonable comfort?" stage. I gobble up boat tours of more modest boats, say of other liveaboards/cruisers. Like 40-something footers on the biggest end down to seeing how people make it work on a 28-footer or so. Put another way, I never got into shows like MTV Cribs, but I have watched a ton of things like Tiny Home tours, This Old House, Mike Holmes, etc.
I love you guys and the thought of unsubscribing hasn't entered my mind. I'm certainly not asking you to make videos for me! Make what you want to make, and I'll watch what I want to watch. :) You're not in any danger of being removed from my sub feed, even if all I see flowing past are more of these tours. Even if you guys end up deciding that it makes more sense for you both to stay on land most of the year and maybe do an annual summer cruise or something (especially possible if/when kids come into the picture.) I'll still be here. Do what you feel is right.
Above all, I wish you happiness, Jordon & Randi, in whatever form you choose to find it.
