Awesome setup! I have a Stargazer, which I love, but I kinda want a Prospector too. Also, looks like there's a fight brewing in the background.... (5:20)
I appreciate you doing this video, helpful. I would like to get down to one bike to commute to work, tour, and go off road. The Prospector seems a bit heavy and I don't know if it will take standard (Tubus, Surly) racks, but this info was more good information.
There is a company that makes a good split Gates belt. I will probably go that route when the chain goes. The chain honestly doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would.
I really like this bike. About ready to pull the trigger. It’s either this, or the Priority 600X. One question, how is the chain in mud? The chain is my only hesitation. Wish it was a belt.
I would like to know more about the frame. Can you ride hands free ? I’m looking to possibly add this bike simply for a Rohloff and fat tires. Love my 1120 but want a Rohloff

Cool set ups. Good tip on the basket bags
Fantastic! Great looking rig. And really love that bird material on the RP frame bag.
Thank you very much!

I use standard racks on the back. It is a bit sluggish, I average about 11 mph.
Thanks for the video. My biggest complaint is the frame is ready for belt drive. I wish they were belt drive capable.

Daniel at Tumbleweed prefers not to use a belt drive and he explains why on the website.

They are pretty different bikes honestly between the suspension, pinion, and belt drive. I haven’t had any issues with chains.
How is the gearing for climbing loaded? Thanks
Gearing is perfect for loaded touring. You could climb a wall without breaking a sweat.
