Bedank!
Wohho this is serious stuff, such a good idea, and what a marina to show us … some serious and beautiful boats to drool over (such amateur boat lovers like me certainly will, I am sure of that), thank you, will go back a few times to catch all the details for sure:)
I will!. Bought the camera a month ago and did not use the footage yet, but Terry pointed out another vlogger who had used it, so I found out what to do with the footage and how it works on YT. I cannot join my regular footage with the 360 experience, so I will upload two video's (the regular and the 360) the moment I want to/can share both.
Henk-Jan, you really are full of surprises. The Scheveningen Seaport in Hague has got to be a must see including all the fascinating aspects of the city. It kinda reminds me of Seattle’s harbor. I loved the bicycle tour along the pier and the special views through the eye of the camera.
To be honest I think Seattle is even more special, mostly because of the ferries. The ferries over there have something in common with the ones in Amsterdam, and then Seattle has it's farmer market close to the waterfront and the world famous FISH shop where the crew have a great show every day. I have sweet memories of that place, so perhaps I exaggerate/romanticize a little. BUT, a seaport for sure always has its charm. When not here by boat I am having dinner every two weeks at one of the restaurants in this video.
Hi Henk-Jan, that is a great Video. Thank you for to visit us on your trips. In 2 Weeks I will also go for a few days to my boat in Streefkerk, hope it will be warmer. I try to learn nederlands so I like the one video from you in nederlands.
Probably I am a bit too old (born in 1977), but this feels totally sci-fi to me. I understand that you have advanced gyroscopes and accelerometers (some sort of IMU) in this device, but the sheer potential of being able to "look around" while being in motion is truly amazing.
Good Morning from UK. I have been following you for a while, and enjoy your videos, they are interesting, fun, and good quality too. I have been thinking about a 360 camera for a while, so its nice to see this being used differently, as I am not into adventure sports that many use the camera for, so your footage helps a lot. Keep up the good work Henk and Lady Liselot/
Nou zeg.... Henk-Jan that was terrific. I did so love to control some of the panning myself. I do so miss Nederland very much and wish to at least see it one more time, however you are giving me a pretty good look now. Thanks mate, much appreciated. 😎
Yep, I am happy with that camera too, but unfortunately the software that comes with it does not offer te opportunity to stich multiple takes to one, AND create one large VR video. So next time, when I want a VR version, I must shoot one long shot.
Wish everyone that makes RUclips content would use 360 VR. Yours is the best I've seen. BTW I'm watching on my Desktop PC with a mouse and other than being able to rotate my view, I see no difference in the video quality from your 360 VR and that of regular 4K content. Just tried the smartphone which work as you said... great!!!!!
😊😊well done very nice footage, so many Tradional boats and ships and nice to see your film from your bicycle, you must really be very tall, as the camera looks so high!😂😂
I'm not from the Netherlands, so if someone can explain to me, what is the purpose of the large wooden pallet on older ships from the Dutch canals, usually attached to the right side of the ship. Thank you in advance.
Yes, 4k is a 'little' heavier then the regular HD footage.
This was super Henk-Jan.....I was staying in Den Haag for a break once and visited the pier and casino in scheveningen. I didn't win any money, but I also didn't lose any!! 😊😂 Treasure each of your uploads. Thank you so much for your efforts in your content
Hey Henk, thanks for using the 360, now we have an improved experience, enabled me to take a good look at those schooners you cycled past. BUT maybe tell your viewers how to use it? Some may not know about it. Also I see you have that fancy software that hides the telescopic pole on which your camera is mounted - cool.
And thank you for pointing it out to me, Terry. Did you see I mentioned you in the description? Unfortunately I cannot join the regular footage with this 360 experience, So I will upload two types of video's the moment I am gonna use it. I took 4 video's in total on the quay and can not glue these 4 files together in the edit suite, so have to create 1 file. Tried to explain the usage in the title.
Bedankt
Welcome!

what a great place for walking and biking. so many interesting vessels to see and cafes to visit.

And with the 360 experience, you can stop the video and view all sides. Something you would love (I remember from previous comments)
@@LadyLiselot oh yes, you’re absolutely right:)
Oh yeah!!! I love it! You need to this more often. Keep up the good work!

@@LadyLiselot Thank you again for great videos. Used to live on a 63 foot wood boat from 1936, and I miss it. Best regards from Norway.

Well, That was fun. Though I wouldn't want to try and watch that after a few beers. Thank you Henk. Another string to your bow.
I agree, especially when some one else uses the remote control / mouse / finger to change the view all the time. ;-)
Thank you very much. Calm seas, captain
You're welcome!

How did you do the over head shot while riding the bike
I use the Insta360 X3 on a pole. I can extend this pole to 3 meters. In this case it was 1.5m above my head. The rest magic of the Insta360.
This was great but....at the end would be nicer if you ended by showing you on a bike with a 360 on a pole (cam stick), enjoyed very much.
Goede vaart verder.
