Around 39:00, Sid says that when there is a lot of stuff to do, we get more things done and when there is less stuff to do, we get less things done. I believe this is called Parkinson's law - "Work expands to fill the time you have allotted to complete it." So if you have less work, you will still take long to do it, and be less productive at it. I guess that is why as Tanmay said over-clocking your calendar helps.

Its so funny to realise that i see physics in everyday things and it gives me the greatest joy to see the simple universal principles(which again is created by humans to understand phenomena and form patterns) everywhere around me. Also biology man, i cannot seperate it from everything around us and how we percieve stuff which makes me so damn happy. Which is also why i want to know more of human body and recignize chemistry, physics and sociology in and around us and how we process it.
Amazing info! I am really excited to learn these things in college during my MBBS. If i am fortunate enough to have such a good teacher.

Hi Siddharth! This is by far one of the best videos from your discussions together that I have come across! I am an artist who loves so many things that I could never fit into a word or a box. I recently started writing poetry apart from journaling and painting, being a designer after having completed B.E. I still continue to find my place in the professional world. Seeing this today brought me so much peace and I continue to blur the lines between art, writing, science and philosophy, even in my work. Words are limiting and none of us truly and exactly experience what another does; we merely have a broad idea about it. I understood more from your neuroscience videos than most of the books and the philosophy that I have read! Sending you all tons of good vibes and love! Keep up the good work.

    Interesting conversation.
Here's something about notetaking: When you try to understand/memorize/learn things, your brain makes neural connections/pathways. The more you try to revise/access/apply that thing, the pathways form again. The more these pathways/connections are made, the better you internalize/remember that thing. When you make notes, you are forced to recall what you just heard/saw, recreate it in a verbal/visual way in your brain, and then put it down on paper. So, essentially, even when you consume the concept once, you're re-igniting the neural pathways multiple times by notetaking. This is why you learn/remember/internalize things better when you take notes.
