I enjoyed your brilliant summary of the scooters, I have the NQi GTS PRO and think it's amazing. I also have the Vespa 300 HPE. I traded in for both scooters after deciding it was time to considerably downsize from my Harley- Davidson Streetbob.
The GTS Pro seems a lot more compelling. They did things to this bike that I don’t understand: removed the cubby hole, they could have left a battery under the feet and gained a decent amount of storage space, no cruise control? Can’t remember if there was a USB port. I’d love to the the GTS pro with more storage space.
Niu arent known for storage as you no doubt know. There are other brands that do offer some storage and as we point out, there are pros and cons of all of them
As for me - I can't understand batteries placement under the seat. They occupy all the luggage space volume and moreover their weight is on the top of the scooter - so it makes driving less convenient and safe. I like much more what segway-ninebot do with their e-scooters - they place batteries under the foot platform. So you still have your free space and lower heavy components location.

Other brands do that but the issue then becomes that the floor pan is higher and hence taller peoples knees hit the handlebars
Thanks for the in depth info. Do people mod these to get up to 55mph? And if they do, how stable are these scooters at that speed?
Depends if you want to keep the warranty. Even though the model 30 is a restricted model 45, Niu will say your warranty is void if you do so
