you know this is the FIRST comic or ANYTHING Undertale related that I've seen where Toriel ACTUALLY seems to be trying to GET OVER the DAMNED foolish grudge, yeah he did shitty things, but thats the past, it cant change, and he in pretty much all the comics tries to be a good person, THIS is the first one Ive seen that actually has her try to get over it.
See, this is why I hate how people utterly hate Asgore and blame him for everything. Toriel was a ruler alongside him. She had the power and authority as well, and she could have stopped him from killing the other six kids before Frisk. Instead, she just chose to run away and leave him behind to bear this burden by himself, while purposely ignoring the fact that she had a role in this. Unlike the game, this comic shows the fact that she can realize what she had done too.
I've felt that way from the get go. Actually it takes courage and bravery and determination to DO SOMETHING when NOTHING seems to work. Even if that something is the wrong thing it can lead you to the right way. Nothing never leads anywhere.
I am pretty sure the Growth Spurt AU is one of the best in character depiction of this Undertale cast on the pacifist ending and what could happen afterwards
I agree. But then, I also like the Ask Drunk Chara series. I like the idea of Asriel being a gaming streamer. But it does have its many downfalls, in my opinion. So Growthspurt would be most canon, and Ask Drunk Chara would be second.
It's the best one for many reasons, and it's not like others where they have such little plot they force the bad guy on Chara or Flowey, who aren't even bad guys since they have no soul to feel anything. And it's funny and emotional instead of Ohhh NoooOOooo there's a fighttttttttt. Or Ohhhhh nOOOooo Frisk and Sans are arguing because of ChhHAaaarrraaaa because Chara's the bad guy, or because of the ReeesssseeeEEettts. Sometimes it's executed very well, but Chara and Flowey always get pushed into the "bad guys" part of the stories. And that's why Glitchtale and Underverse are such good shows because it's not just a mash-up of the same plot with Frisk and Sans and Chara or Flowey being always evil. This comic is the few that don't mention Sans or focus on Frisk, them just being there for comedic relief, and having a few serious moments, in this comic is quite nice. And it actually *uses the story* other comic dubs go in and out of canon all the time. Making up this, and that, from literally nowhere. I like most comic dubs but after a while its the same story but with different small plot points.
This is to be honest one of the bestest AU Comic so far, reason is cause this feels like it was part of the actual game, and the voice acting matches the characters not only that, you can actually feel the EMOTION

Hot DAMN that was incredible! The music, the pacing, the VOICE ACTING! GAAAAHHH!!! Asgore's voice was NAILED and Toriel's emotions were incredible. How she had to swallow between sobs and yelling at 8:28 was a genius touch...

This dub is undoubtedly one of the best out there. Everything was executed so well- the voice acting, the editing, the music. Such a brilliant AU deserved an equally brilliant dub. The AU feels like a natural continuation to Undertale- one that explorers the Dreemurrs far better than any other I've seen before.
Fantastic comic and a fantastic dub! I got to say, though the other voice actors did a GREAT job but the Voice actor for Torial really carried the comic cause damn, that scene with her and asgore. That was amazing

This comic dub makes me want to cry due to things from my past and family showing up in it and I just want to say thank you for the amazing work. I remember hearing a dub of this where the therapy dog had a relatively deep voice. I forgot about it because I was so involved in the story, and it caught me off guard. lol
This au actually gave me the encouragement to confess my own bad deeds to my parents. Happy to say it worked out fine. To anyone who may doubt their parents capacity to forgive just know That Last statement toriel had is a mirroring image of what my own parents said afterwards. There is no need to fear it. The way I had before. Go ahead and confess.

In my headcannon, Frisk is a reincarnation of chara. When Asriel and chara died, it would make sense that Asriel's soul would not be there, but where was Chara's soul? Might have left the underground entirely to be reborn.
