36:05 dude, the ship got wrecked in 1968, the main character finds the ship in 1981, how were you expecting actual survivors to talk to?

There were so many "I guess's" and "I don't know's" in the story line, and then all of a sudden, Chronos. It's like they liked the symbolism but didn't know how to put it together. Looks cool, but not my kind of game, so I'm ever grateful for those that will play it instead. Just too slow a burn and I get motion sick from even smoothly running games, so the frame drop would kill my stomach (and patience). Love the video! Hope you continue to do well, and remember to take xare of yourself

You're one of those underrated RUclipsrs who always go under the radar of everyone else but your reviews are great! You deserve a lot more subs and views, man. I love your work and keep this up! Looking forward to your other projects.
One question though...is your voice audio really this low? The game audio tends to be louder than your voice mostly

I tried something new and did automatic loudness equalisation and I don't think it really worked. It actually sounds good in premiere pro but I think youtube does their own when they process the video? It'll be better for the next video regardless, just have to figure out why it doesn't work!
And thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it!

43:25 it just shows, that sometimes even the smallest details or gestures can lead to completely different outcomes

26:45 no they shouldn't be alive, since the ship disaster still happened, so saving them, didn't prevent their death, it just altered it, so they still died, just not at that exact moment
there are only 2 (argueably 3) instances where saving someone through mental echos actually prevents their death
1st (this is the argueable one) you save a polar bear, so it never gets killed and stuffed by the crew
2nd when you save the helicopter from crashing (it has the key characters of the story on that helicopter)
3rd when you alter the actions of one of the three key characters:
Security chief who helps up the injured captain rather than helping the First Officer stop the ship
Chief Engineer who cheers up the captain rather than telling him off
First Officer who helps the crew rather than hand the Captain the decomission note
the 3rd one is the most relevant, since it's the one that saves the whole crew, the helicopter one only saves the key characters, but since they aren't dead, they have no corpse for you to interact with and change the outcome of the ship, that's where Chronos comes to play, and after challenging him, you are allowed to alter their actions, leading to the ship disaster not happening

If you liked ukranian shooters, then you should try Codename: Outbreak (Venom). It was made in 2001 by GSC (S.T.A.L.K.E.R series)

It is on my list actually; but seeing as it's a GSC Game World title, it might come later as part of a series of videos on GSC as a whole. But we'll see. Thanks for the suggestion!

Oh man... It's cool that you enjoyed Cryostasis, to some extend. I would agree with some critic, the game is far from being polished. I would argue with you about some aspects, like monotony of the environment or lack of personalization of the crew. But... I don't know, overall I felt this review is too strict and exacting to almost everything in Cryostasis, especially for symbolism. In some way I'm disappointed by your conclusion.

Yeah look fair enough. I believe that Cryostasis excels with its atmosphere, but the narrative takes away from that somewhat, espicially the twist. From what I've seen online, it's a clear 50/50 split between people who like its twist and those who don't. But atleast I like the rest of the game for the most part excluding some samey rooms
