European Tour 2020 continues this week at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. In the first Rolex Series event of 2020, the field in Abu Dhabi will be stronger than ever before. Defending Champion Shane Lowry returns looking to repeat last year's success, while World Number One Brooks Koepka marks his comeback from a three-month injury. However, they both face tough competition from top-ranked Americans Patrick Cantlay and Bryson DeChambeau, alongside Rolex Series veterans Tommy Fleetwood, Lee Westwood and Rafa Cabrera Bello. Who will take the top prize at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club this year?

That's now two wins in less than a year for Lee. Both in big events with very quality fields. He's a ball striking machine and if he putts well he's dangerous anytime he tees it up. Well done Lee, always been a big fan and happy to see you back and winning again.
Win No. 25 for Westy!! 🏆
Would love to see him win the Open
Great to see Ping win another tournament, the most underrated clubs on the market.
Chuffed for Westy. Would love him to win a major this year. Lovely fella too.
That's the swing I want, I've always loved that move through the ball.
Always love it when Lee wins. That's made my Sunday. Keep it up 👍. Westwood for PM
25 Wins!!
That's a Big #
Time for the Major"
I've been watching Westwood since 98"
that's how you play a final round - aggressive with your shots, make putts. well done LW! and as always great job European tour RUclips channel for a brilliant shot-by-shot video
Absolutely chuffed for Lee .. always been a fan .. brilliant win 👏👏👏
Putting is improved, I always wish Lee to win if he is in the tournament 🏆
Well done Lee one of golf's good guys
I am so happy for Lee Westwood. I hope he wins a major.
Enduringly popular-a legend of European golf-surely his vast experience would still be valuable to the Ryder Cup team?
These extended highlight vids are great! Much better than the PGA Tour ones. Well done Lee :)
No pointless heavy rock soundtrack either! 😀👍🏻
Many many congrats to Westy! Wonderful achievement on winning in 4 different decades and getting back at top 50.
Excellent. Great ball striker. One of the best talents of his generation. If he putts well he can still beat almost any field.
Lee has won tournaments in four decades now, the 1990's, 2000's, 2010's and 2020's.
Remarkable achievement, I saw him win his first in 1996 a play off in Sweden. He has missed a Major (runner up 3 times) but I would not put it past him to claim one soon, he always plays well in the Masters and he certainly deserves one.
Please please please golf gods give this man a major championship this year!
i love watching him play golf especially now he has found his putting game. he has always been up there with driving consistency and iron play. some of those bunker shots were outstanding.
Putter : Ping Sigma 2 Fetch
Really thought Lee was 50. Only 46? He’s been around for as long as I can remember and he’s not much older than me. He must’ve been at the top so young, and still at the top is stunning. A true European great.
Looks like he finally figured out his putting issues. Well done!
Gman6755 He already has 25 wins... so I guess he figured it out a long while ago
@@arjanpetersen Not exactly. If you'd followed his career, you'd know that he's had more than his share of disappointment on the greens. He's been an exceptional ball striker, and that's carried him nicely. I think he'd be the first to admit that the putter has cost him dearly over the years.
Everyone who wins a tournament has apparently fixed their putting stroke
Adam Barnett like I don’t know that,,,
Putting in majors and big events has been his only problem what a wonderful career he’s had
So happy to see him win. The ball striking was outrageous.
I like how he used his ball retriever on the last putt 😁
Ping Sigma 2 Fetch. I wondered what happened to his ball. I had to just look up what putter he uses. lol.
Like a true old man
@@lucascarman2578 they use a suction cup on the end of some 30 year old blade.
@notformebeaky Yeah they called the putter "Fetch" because it aligns your putt, LMAO.
notformebeaky do you leave them in there?
Congratulations Lee 👏🏽
Glorious golf. So good to see Westy putt so well. Top guy too.
Hope he gets a major this year.
Very good, el engishman, thanks. 😎⛳⛳✌✌
I'm glad he won. He always comes across likeable. I'm also glad Koepka didn't win or come close to winning.
Cuong Truong I would be happy if Koepka would have won. Very like able guy
@@arjanpetersen Fair enough. I find him arrogant and lacks humility
Cuong Truong just think he is confident. That is something totally different than arrogant
@@arjanpetersen atta boy. That's the best reply, yet. I also glad that Koepka didn't win but for a different reason. He needs more competition to stay sharp and focused.
Well played Lee 👌👌👌
what a win, great job Lee!!!!
just amazing tee to green ball striking. Well deserved
Lovely to see Westy bag another title,I would so like to see him win a Major this year.
How about hole 4 and 14, both from fairway bunkers and still gets the birdies!! His approach shots and putting were very good. Congratulations to Lee on an awesome week of golf and the win.
God help the champions tour in 4 years 😂😂 Some golf at 46 ⛳⛳
I was thinking the same thing
notformebeaky you have no idea
Great Sportsman!❤️
"You have now won in 4 different decades on this tour. Just describe how special a week this has been for you."
"It makes me feel pretty old, obviously."
Great putting Mr Westwood...now how many times have you heard that...???
Well done Westy !
A win in each of four decades!! As he says, who realised he was so old?
His weight transfer with the driver is remarkable. Will try that next time on the course
His backswing is also short. Almost Rahmbo's range
@@reuk hadnt noticed. will try that as well. my usual driver usually gets to parallel so shortening it may do good.
@@owoled282 I was hitting the heel consistently when full swing.
The driver manage to pull my monstrous body somehow during downswing
Shortening my backswing has made me found the sweet spot effortlessly
Depends. It is actually not really beneficial for speed and distance
Westy for life
Well done Lee
Love westy
Congratulations Lee and soon to get a Major maybe at Augusta.
Love Westy to win a major, from a Westy.
3 years later, came here for this: 10:09
The other Lee (Trevino) said it best in '84 at Shoal Creek... My golf ball doesn't know how old I am
how many other beer bellies did he beat? lol CONGRATS LEE
Bring on Close House in July Westy!! Can't wait to see him dominate the British Masters.
Nathan Brown he won’t be there.
When Westy gets putting, he can beat anyone.
Great to see his Putter finally working.
Imagine how many tour wins he would have if he had putted better
majors included
@@lutzchoco1 Indeed, let's hope that Lee has a final golden period before he goes off to the Seniors tour and grap himself a well deserved Major.
06:52 died laughing
Who would have guessed back then what the world would be like now
Prepped for a Sunday meltdown at Augusta
Why is his missus not on the bag?
8:47 gross stroke.
He's always been one of the best ball strikers on tour.
If only his short game/putting was even consistently top 50 on tour he'd have probably a dozen more wins and probably 3+ majors.
Still love Westy!!!
what happened to his wife/caddy?
Busy down the shops. He just won another million.
As a professional he should surly know not to remove the ball from the hole with his putter. Poor golf course etiquette.
Hows your back? a golfers nightmare. He can take it out with his toes for all I care, the guy is a golfing ikon. Works hard at his game and does a lot for the sport.
It's just an advertising for his sponsor and the "Fetch" Ping putter.
first!
Stop.
