Lol, whats the purpose of platform screen doors when the incompetent train pilots are not able to align the train and the station doors together. Looks totally way off and foolish to provide these useless feature on the name of safety and that too in a country like India where value of life is next to garbage. I can observe the train is taking a lot longer time to come to a complete stop struggling to match with the platform screen doors which is also a waste of time and would cause delays in a long run. I would never understand what these babus think while planning such expensive projects. At least take a trip to some western country and study how to make a practical public transit before applying your peanut sized brain.
All this 1000s of cr rupees and years of patience of mumbaikar , all we get this ugly looking unfinished station interior. Happy atleast metro is started but mediocracy can't be accepted.
Its not ugly. But i am guessing you are comparing with china? Those kind of stations would be possible in new upcoming cities with better space and funds
@@JatinYadav-sg6mv we can't compete with China , but look at the South east asian countries if we can't get proper finished products in the financial capital of India then where we will see. There's nothing aesthetic just some tiles on which LEDs are getting reflected. The entrance is looking like a typical Babu square spaced dabba.
These are not fancy stations. But I feel for Mumbai these are very practical. I would have liked more but cant really complain with this effort.
Line 2B & 9
so calming
