Edit:- Guys one thing I forgot to tell you, M2 comes with 1080p webcam which is again a upgrade over 720p in M1, and difference is clearly noticable!

I personally feel M1 Macbook Air is more classy in design and moreover, the performance it offers for the price is way above than M2 Macbook Air or any other laptop in that range.

hey i have a doubt i bought my macbook air m2 probably a month ago and its having little scratches which are not visible on while using but when we keep it at certain angle and show some light towards it they are visible but are very minute and tiny i am highly frustated cause nobody likes minute scratches even its not visible what should i do? also there is high recommendation not to a put a screen protactor i am in pure dilema kindly help i am not sure if i am the only one

Annoying procedure at Apple’s authorised service centre
1. 5 to 8 days laptop submission
2. they gonna diagnose MacBook & erase all the data, even though there is no issue in mac other than battery backup.
3. Also not disclosing pricing parameter. once the MacBook submission is done, they will quote their pricing in 24 hours.

I am currently in class 11th and I am a web developer and I do a lots of programming like python , also sometimes I like to watch movies for a long time with a little Minecraft for like 1-2 hour a day so according to this should I buy M1 in 2023 cz I don't care much about design and I will buy it in Big Billion Day sale so maybe I could get it for 70-73k at that time . If I buy it in 2023 will it last till my college first year like 2025-26 ?
Not op, but you should go for it for 75k as it'd be hard to find a comparable windows machine with great built quality in the same budget.

If you can Invest in M2 16/512 then its great!!
Even you can push your nudget a bit and get m2 pro base model, it will be much better...
M2 doesn't make sense, if you are capable to spend that much rather go for pro model ,M2 its only giving a marginal improvement over M1. And for daily use and even heavy editing M1 is more than sufficient
