Bought this BRAND NEW 24.5hp hydrostatic CT2025 Bobcat tractor with loader and I love it so far! I looked at all brand tractors NEW and USED and ended up buyng this Bobcat. My second favorite up was the Rural king 25 series but it was smaller and I got this for the same price!
I do a detailed walkthrough showing location of controls, parts and capacities. This little sub compact tractor pushes excellent, the lift capacity is good for the size of the machine. I use the tractor bucket to capacity using as a bulldozer and the bush hog to clear palmettos and trees on 5 acres of land I recently purchased.
Crystal tractor delivered fo FREE with a full tank of fuel. I put about 3 hours on it and used a bit over a quarter tank of fuel. This tractor looks easy to maintain and get to major components like battery, air filter, fuel filter, hydrostatic filter and hydraulic filter (I show locations) .
Follow for future videos when I am in FL to work this machine.

When these came out before Covid I got mine in early 2020 for 27,250. Backhoe, box blade, auger, tiller forks and a bucket. Things have changed. Still a great value.
Congratulations on the new purchase. It will always look messy until the area is finished off
Thanks! True
Nothing like a new tractor. We bought a Massie Ferguson GC2600 a few years ago and have never regretted it! Sold the belly mower but kept the bucket. Snow, dirt, mulch no problems! I made a couple of mods to mine; buit a rack and mounted a tool box behind the seat, Flipped the turn signals to the inside of the ROPS so they dont get bashed. With cold weather in Ohio, a block heater and a battery maintainer were requisites. Hope yours gives you the service mine has.
Funny you say that about the blinkers. I hit one today, didn't break off but it's looks now. I said why the hell did they put those on the outside! I think I'll just put stick in LEDs on the ROPS.
Tool box is in my list. Want to get the land cleared so it can stay inside the garage!
Congrats. Tractors are so awesome. The ultimate do all machine. I recommend a set of pallet forks for all those china bike deliveries and box blade is also a must. The grapple turns anyone into a superman as far as lifting.
Def want a grapple!
It's a thing of beauty Cheezy! Congrats! I've never owned my own tractor ,but I did have a KLR.
Thanks!
Looks like a Big Cheesy purchase! 😉👍😀 I can’t wait to see the brush clearing videos👌
Have a few vids up. Palmettos ain't no joke!
I have a branson 2400H, Your bobcat is almost exactly the same as mine. The difference is where the controls are located and the motor. I also added a grapple and end up using it to pick up tons of things and even moving implements around. You can also get a stump bucket that is useful for stumps and digging trenches.
Definitely want a stump bucket and grapple. Need the third function installed first
Looks like a pretty nice tractor. You'll be able to get a LOT of work done with it. One of my first purchases at my small farm here was a New Holland TC34DA (2006) tractor. Still runs perfect, no DEF and it's HYD just like yours. That's the way to go for sure!
Definitely
Put tractor in medium position, bring rpm full and adjust brush cutter to medium hight. Back to work site pull out full power.
Congrats on the tractor Cheez! I've grown up with Kubotas my whole life and this Bobcat tractor stuff is all virgin territory to me....ran plenty of their skidsteers though. The loader lift next to the seat is pretty damn sweet! The hydrostatic takes getting used to for me.....I much prefer the 4 speed HI-LOW I grew up with. Have fun bud!
Thanks! I'm used to the standard transmission too, The more I use it, I'm glad I got the hydrostatic. Brush hogging these palmettos you have to vary speed and the hydro makes it easy to slow and speed up..
I looked at the Kubota too, they were $15k more for same size tractor! I love my Kubota excavator too
That’s an awesome tractor new toy to the fleet. Lol is that a 2022 or 2023 bobcat. And I will be keeping my eyes out for more videos on this machine. I hope mini truck is not jealous.
Thanks! I believe it's considered a 2023, have to look at the paperwork. Tractor years are different then how cars and bike work.
I haven't told mini yet 😁
Love your video man, I just bought one with the bush hog and will be delivered Monday!!!😊
Awesome! Thanks.
I love this bobcat, it ended up more capable then I expected.
The clutch lock is for storage. So the plate doesn’t rust up during the off season.
Ahh, thanks for that I fo! I've seen the clutch rusted up on tractors. Makes sense.
@@MotoCheez my kubota came with a little oak block to put under the pedal .
Good idea to have it, that's for sure. Saw too many w rusted clutch
Congrats. Some serious fun to be had now.
I have a tractor about this same size. I added water to the rear tires, added weight added stability when bucket loaded. No risk for me of water freezing. I'm in florida too. RimGuard another liquid weight. Water = free. I also added a piranha bar easy 2 bolt attachment to bucket. Works like gang Busters. Congratulations on your new 'cat' Hope Gizmo not jealous. Merry Christmas. 💛
Thanks! I appreciate any advice. You're the 3rd person who suggested the ripper bar for the blade. It works good on palmettos? Water a good idea! I keep the bush hog on for rear weight for now.
Gizmo wants to drive the tractor 😁
@@MotoCheez Not many palmettos where I live. When pushing over trees the bucket bends the tree over then peels off bark. With piranha bar the teeth bite into the tree and it gets pulled UP when you curl the bucket. Pretty sure it will work on palmettos too. Good luck. Love your channel 💛 Keep it UP!
Thanks for the info. Thanks!
Nice choice! Looks like a good unit.
Thanks!
Nice tractor Chez! Since you are in Florida you might need a cab for summer time use with AC.
Hah, if I had the $$!
Very nice that will be awesome for your property in Florida
You may want to look into a piranha bar or ratchet rake for the bucket. A sawhaul or something similar may help for the chainsaw. Having it somewhere other than the bucket or the ground is nice.
I want to mount one on the ROPS.. definitely
Buying attachments and accessories can become a rabbit hole
Absolutely
I have a kubota tractor about this same size. I added a piranha bar and it works GREAT !
That's a nice addition. Ouch on the cost!!!! My JD 850 4x4 front loader with 6 ft. box scraper cost me $8,000.......30 years ago. LOL Almost the same specs as yours. Careful digging your bucket into the brush you'll rip your hydraulic hoses out. Steel braided hose is a good upgrade or fab a rebar cage. OEM hoses are $$$$. Check auto parts stores like NAPA or Oreillys they might be able to make you a hose for way less.
I used my box scraper all the time for clearing. Worked much better than trying to clear with the bucket. Drop the box down and put it in reverse and use it like a plow. You can move a lot of dirt in a hurry with a box scraper. I welded tow hooks on either side of the bucket and one in the center of my box. Pick up a couple chokers and nylon slings and go to town.
Hydraulic hoses are pricey even made at auto parts! Jeffro has the machine to make them, but he's 1000 miles away 😁.
Definitely want a box blade, grapple and stump bucket
nice to see a 2022 model already rusting! definitely a bobcat 🤣
🙄 the bucket? Lol
I like it much better than what was at the TSC . ☺ Seems like it'll do the job .
Bigger and better, ya
Great little tractor for the florida property. Look up good works tractors on youtube he has grill guards that will save your radiator plus other things
I'll check them out
Badass new toy bud 😎
Thanks!
Pick up a tooth bar or better yet Ratchet Rake for the bucket, they make clearing real simple for the smaller plants and ground debris.
I like those tooth bars. Ratchet rake would work for the palmettos? It sharp?
@@MotoCheez They are great for ripping stuff out of the ground. Check them out.
I watched a few videos
I have the bobcat ct2035 and love it.
That's a nice unit!
Very nice, good utility, and now you'll need a 3 or 5 gal 'diesel only' gas can to her going.
As for the trees, I suppose a fire pit is in order (plenty of fuel now), unless you want to rent a wood chipper.
I bought a diesel can already.. think I'm gonna pile up the wood, pour dirt over the front and make a gun range on the 5 acres
@@MotoCheez Hmmm, keep an eye out for abandoned tires. Stacked, and filled, they make good bullet traps.
Nice shovel, Cheez!
NICE!! Get a backhoe attachment and you will be set!!!
9k for the backhoe!
@@MotoCheez OUCH!! GOOD LORD!!
Haha. Yeah. Better off buying used excavator
I'm just a little bit jealous, Cheezy of your very cheezy tractor 🚜 😉👍!
Hehe
If it has blinkers you can take it to the drive-thru! Wonder how many coffees and donuts the bucket will hold
Yes!
Impressive Tractor ,Farmer Cheez 🧑🌾🧀.Are you considering planning a garden ,or blazing a trail for the Recon. That tractor is a very good investment, congratulations!!
🧀🧀 thanks
Lucky turd get to play around on new piece of equipment down there in the warm sunshine of Florida when I'm setting up here in the mountains of Kentucky shaking my butt off.. oh well maybe next year, have fun down there I miss it I spent probably 15 years of my life down south largo and on down the keys.
😁👍. The keys are nice!
Super nice, probably a little too nice for me haha.
That’s nice.
Thanks
Damn! Im jealous!
😁
Nice, Cheezy has a tractor now. The size of your machine is a compact tractor. My little Massey Ferguson GC1723E that I got back in July is a sub-compact. It's essentially the size of a very large garden tractor. When I went shopping for mine I was mainly wanting a John Deere but before settling for that I went and looked at the Massey Ferguson and Kubota dealers in the area. Sadly the only comparable tractor John Deere had to mine was the 1023E and it was going for $3,000-$4,000 more than my Massey with the same original setup I had quoted which was to keep the loader and have a front mounted snow blower included in the sale.
As for Kubota, I didn't bother pricing one of those out because Kubota insists on sticking with the awful rocker pedal for their hydrostatic models. My dad has a little Kubota BX with a belly mower & front mounted snow blower. He loves the tractor but he hates the stupid rocker pedal.
It wasn't the price of the John Deere that turned me away, it was how much the payments were going to be monthly. Even with all of the sale incentives John Deere had going on at the time it was still going to be $400'ish monthly at 84 months to get the front mounted snow blower as an add-on with the loader. It was going to be more for the little John Deere a month than what I pay for on my full size pickup. Needless to say I axed the John Deere and went with the Massey instead.
Of course I talked it over more with my parents and we decided against the front mounted snow blower for now and went with a box blade instead. Since getting it we've moved all kinds of dirt around for yard work and ripped up every hump we could find in the yard that made travel a pain with wagons and wheel barrows. Sadly mine is equipped with turf tires, the dealer only had one with R4 industrials like yours and that one already sold. So when I'm doing heavy ripping with the box blade the tractor isn't really running out of power it starts spinning because of the tires.
I priced out some small Ag tires for the back of mine but because they're an uncommon size for tractor tires they're expensive. So I think what I'm going to do is just buy some beefy atv tires with big lugs and run them at a higher pressure to hold more weight. You've done it with Mini and Mini is heavier than my tractor is. So it should work out for a lot less. :)
Nice! Yes, it's a compact.
@@MotoCheez Once you've thought of ideas to use it for you'll end up coming up with more things to make it useful. My mother thought once we were done moving dirt around we'd no longer use the tractor. But then a conversation about getting something done will get thrown around and the tractor instantly comes into play making it easier. Especially when you want to move heavy objects. :)
Definitely!
Had the same issue at my property up the road from you with the palmettoes. Pain in the ass
They sure are!
Lol. Dude gets caught driving w/ open beverage . Classic Floridian
He's my neighbor, drove across the street to get to me 😂
i just got the same tractor with a free loader / bucket for 18k-19k. I hope I didn't overpay.
That's around what I paid! Good deal
@@MotoCheez Good deal then. I also bought a box blade, forks, auger, and a lawn finisher. That should keep me busy for awhile!
I'm installing a 3rd function kit for grapple next time I go down in about a month.
Just curious what area you're in? Don't give out your home address or anything ha, I'm between Crystal River and Dunnellon. I knew this area looked familiar ha. I went to Crystal down in Homosassa and looked at a Mahindra but ended up going with the Kubota L2502. The Bobcat looks good though and seems to be able to put in some work.
I'm in crystal river! I liked the price, Kubota was a lot more, I stopped there too. Lift capacity was also highest on the Bobcat when I compared
@MotoCheez that's awesome man, it's a nice area. Been in and out of there for 25 years. And yeah the Kubota was a but more expensive for sure but they got me a decent deal. Definitely doesn't have the highest lift capacity but I liked their hydraulics and how they worked. I plan on doing a lot of dirt moving and building a little dirt bike track so I had that in mind. I liked the Bobcats a lot though also. I've had it for 2 weeks and put 38 hours on it so far and pretty happy. Enjoy the tractor and Citrus County man.
Can the 1025 do this?
Yes, but the implements are a little smaller
You can't beat the sound of a diesel engine.
I know, I love it
FYI, that seat safety switch should be pretty easy to jump. That was the first thing I did with my tractor. I like to get off the thing with it running and in gear some times. Lawyers have ruined EVERYTHING on this planet. So stupid.
CRYSTAL TRACTOR OF HOMOSASSA IS THE BEST!!
Yes! I hit all the dealers in a 30 mile radius.
Awesome. Now your gonna need a backhoe attachment!
Not for $9k! I'll get a small used excavator. 😂
Hello tractor :D
😁👍🧀
Nice looking tractor! Time for me to buy a Keychain and contribute to the grappler fund!
Thanks! Haha. "grappler fund" I need to add a 3rd function too. Been looking at those
You buy more land up here?
Yes, 5 more acres.
@@MotoCheez nice! Are you planning on moving more permanently?
Yes, eventually!
@@MotoCheez crystal river?
Yes! 5 acres Next door to my other place
How much of a deal ?
They dropped $200 since I got mine, I hear father's days sale coming too
That is a lot of rust for a new tractor. Dealers leave them outside for months or years until they sell.
That's true!
Way to go Cheesy 🧀
Iseki tractor?
Bobcat, by kioti
Am I the only one that noticed the dude in truck had a open beer?
He's my neighbor. Just drive across the street
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍👍
I would always stand so that the bush hog can't throw shit at me, mabye even a blade..
hey
Hey! 2nd but first if you want a keytag. Jim won a few
@@MotoCheez I already bought 2, pass it along to the next dude!
He didn't give you a deal I gave 17k cash for a 2023 ct10-25
The 1025 is a lot smaller
Nice Slingblade... Mhmm
and meanwhile back home Mini is in the garage sobbing like a 2 yr old cause he just lost his bestest buddy in the world to a dongwong diesel.
😂
You better have got a good deal on that tractor it has rushed all over it ‼️
Just the bucket. It's the norm buying AG equipment. Every brand I looked at
Beep
1st AGAIN! Meep
Bobcats are overpriced junk
Cheapest in it's class on all the tractors I looked at, smaller tractors were more money, even rural kings TYM series 25... Hmm
Maybe you got a good deal on yours but where I'm from they're not and they're not reliable at all I'm not trying to be mean just speaking from experience
@@MotoCheez but no more than you're going to use yours you shouldn't have much trouble
Original price was high. I got it for a LOT less. Kubota is way overpriced IMO. 15k more for same machine everywhere. They're good, but not that good
@@MotoCheez true that
not bad not bad :)
19:12 👀 🍺 +🛻
Haha. Yeah, hes my neighbor. Drove across street
Just play’n brother
I figured!
You will damage your loader by pushing trees
Yeah I don't overdo it, I've been running equipment for over 30 years. I make sure I don't do any damage.
