Beautiful! I love Spring for all the wildflowers too. I enjoy cooking in a cast iron dutch oven when car camping :). Making stews and desserts over a fire, it's a luxury item for us.

Alice! You are back! First, the item I would splurge on when car camping is a thick self inflated mattress, and a pillow, compared to the one I carry while backpacking. Life is tough enough, why to make it miserable 😊 I really enjoyed the escape in the desert. It made me think of Joshua Tree I did a few years back while staying in Palm Desert. Spring arrived here too and looking forward for the hiking season. ♉️☯️☮️

You should give Cape Scott some thoughts. Manitoba has the nastiest black bugs in the country, they are the size of elephants 👣

Absolutely amazing nice sound. I recommend you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak. Add these sounds in your bucket list.

Sweeet I need to up my car camping pack
You could make some better tent stakes out of some 3/8" rebar or buy some really large spikes at a lumber yard / home depot, just leave a hammer in the car, never know when you will need it. In really loose sandy areas, tying the tent to sand bags might be the way to go.
That’s a great idea. I really do need to put a hammer in my car. I have a machete, but that doesn’t work so well on stakes
You using a GoPro inside the vehicle? Sounds like you're underwater. Love Julian and Anza Borrego. Love the videos.
Yeah, the audio in my car is not great. I was trying to get rid of the road noise and in doing so it makes me sound like I’m under the ocean.
