It was absolutely mind blowing this kid lasted to the 4th round, knew the kid had the potential to be special, he became Goff’s safety blanket that last month

You can watch the team trust him more each week as he keeps making plays. I Like this coaching staff!
A diamond in the rough. A pretty big diamond. Mind you everything and anyone can be damaged or made wothless, but this kid brings everything a future star needs (except experience).

I’m a USC fan and I’m so happy this guy is doing well in the nfl, Amon-ra has so much grit and just raw talent. Special player right there. Good for lions, they need these types of draft steals
Goff’s trust built in him throughout the season. It’s clear this could be a lethal connection next year.

Lol Golladay would’ve been better off staying in Detroit at least there building towards something with Dan Cambell.The Giants were embarrassing this season.
hes a completely different receiver you cant compare them. I think Golladay is just really dumb and wasn’t thinking about his future
@@haydenhotdog8359 I know one thing, Golladay could never get separation, he just made a ton of contested catches, St Brown has a higher upside from his route running, lack of contested catches decreased his drop % as well.

I'm not a Lions fan, but I absolutely called Amon-Ra leading them in Receiving (a week after the draft)!. St. Brown fan that's absolutely 100% vindicated.
Good thing about this is he is supremely talented and is best suited in the slot. Which makes him an either bigger mismatch being the fact that he's going to be going to get safeties and linebackers. Additionally with the Lions drafting Jameson Williams and getting DJ chark. He's not going to have to do it by himself anymore.

He's actually not that physical he likes to avoid contact get out of bounds whenever possible or get down whenever he can to keep him healthy

Golden Tate 2.0 he is gonna be a QB best friend bcuz he can catch the short stuff n run after catch and he can take it deep. We still need a bonifide #1 WR but I believe in the Sun God!

Told my friend who’s a lions fan that they got the steal of the draft last year with this guy. Really hoping something shakes out to where they get Drake London as well. Drake, Amon, and TJ would set any future QB up with an elite receiving core.
We got pretty much the fastest receiver in this years draft in Williams. Amon and Williams will be a problem next season for sure..

Absolute stud, bought his jersey during training camp because he screams competitive, kid won’t take no for an answer! He’s our next Golden Tate, now we need that true #1 receiver, maybe Williams maybe Chark, but someone has to demand that spot, take it by force 🔥

this man plus Amani Oruwariye were my favorites to watch in the team last year. From St Brown's first TD being their first game win of the season, to Amani's 6th INT coming from the hands of Playoff contender Kyler Murray, putting that game away pretty handedly.

Jameson Williams, Amon Ra St. Brown, Dj chark, deandre Swift and Tj Hockenson These guys should be hard to defend. Also there’s great depth behind these guys. Raymond, Cephus,Funchess, Reynolds. Goff better set it off if the OLine is healthy in 2022 or he gotta go.
I remember saying Amon was gone be nice in college & pre draft then he got to tha league & was dropping balls in preseason early on I thought I may have been wrong but it’s good to see him turning up now & proving me right.
He was once projected as a first round pick, but kept falling because of "physical limitations." Glad to see that make him hungry, and prove them wrong
Our Oline is so good!!! Anw, he reminds me so much of Golden Tate. We still need a guy that can blow the top off a defense tho. We need a QB!!! This draft could be really good for us!
Well, they got the guy that can blow top off the defense if his injury recovers well. No QB, but Goff is a pretty good bridge.
I thought this kid was a huge steal if not the biggest in the draft when he got picked in the 3rd round.

Can see the lions using him as “wide back” next season. Definitely has shades of Deebo with his aggressiveness and ability to break tackles…just a little faster.
Yeah I was thinking they should use him like Deebo too but they use DeAndre Swift a lot like that.
i don't know that he could be used like Deebo. Amon-ra is fast and shifty and a great route runner, he can be a beast of a slot WR, but he doesn't have the same strength as Deebo. You can see him numerous times get overpowered by defenders in the highlights. Deebo runs through people (I'm a Lions fan btw)

The kid won me a league last year. He is so damn talented - hands, feet, vision, balance. He also had good games with backup qbs. Go after him in fantasy.

Lions have a sneaky upside this year. Goff is a capable QB, Swift, St Brown, Hockenson, and apparently a top 3 offensive line. They should win some games this season.

In time he could be a wr 2 , like golden tate.....we still need a wr 1 . Someone to stretch the defense. We add Jameson Williams...everyone gets better!!! Jameson Williams WR1, St. Brown WR2 and Cephus at WR 3...hockenson at te , swift at RB ....prefect roster.
I think Reynolds would be our WR3 before Cephus.
@@MrHusker52 do you watch him play before he got hurt....he was our number 1 WR at the beginning of the season before he got hurt. He looked awesome! It was an automatic connection with GOFf ....I don't see him not starting. Nothing against Reynolds he's good too.

What impresses me the most about him is that he’s not the fastest or the strongest receiver. He gets open. Why? He’s smart as hell, and he will outwork the shit out of you. Dude’s got the football IQ of a 4-5 yr. vet already, we’re so lucky to have him along for this rebuild. I see a lot of pro bowls in the future

This offense finally found a foundation coming in late to the season. Sprinkle him with a little bit of Hockenson, and hopefully a legit #1 outside WR this offseason, and this offense could be NASTY.
Looks like they did just that!
If the Lions defense can do a better job then they did last year, there won't be a team in the NFL that the Lions can't beat. They are Awesome !!!

a lot of people like to say "hah hah same old lions."
#1: yeah I agree... partially, but
#2: this was a laughably young set of starters this year everywhere on the roster
#3: their 2020-21 schedule was among the Top 5 toughest schedules, on paper
#4: the same old Lions tied a playoff contender, SLAUGHTERED another, and beat a (admittedly resting) powerhouse in their division rivals and champions in week 18.
I can't wait to see this crew grow in 2022

The draft don't matter he making his mark now and the Lions believed he can play for them so it really doest matter where got drafted at tom brady was a 6th rounder and look at what he has done with the teams he had

Frustrating when you’re trying to analyze the receiver or defensive backs mechanics/routes and the camera only focuses/zooms in on the front 7. Wish u had the in-game option to view the behind the QB camera angle sometimes shown on various network broadcasts

If lions can draft a decent guard in round 2 there offense can be really good. I think swift and Williams are great half backs but if they can sign a cheap power back like latavius Murray for short yardage that could be huge for this offence
