It is to provide supplemental information to the reader that is helpful, but not necessary. Therefore it is often found within a section, or article, tag set and provides information about the content within its parent’s tag.
In this video we look at how to use, and style, the aside tag to provide additional information about the larger webpage.

mdn webdocs uses aside as a sidebar they even state that it is frequently used in sidebars without condemning its use, is mdn not to be trusted?
Lots of people use it in that manner. And it won't technically" break your website. However, if you look at the specs and how it was designed, it is clearly not for that purpose. The biggest issue is if search bots expect it to be used for the technical specification, then you might have mislabeled, or ignored information. Unfortunately, Google, OpenAI, and others don't tell us how they're using it so we can only guess, or utilize it based upon the documentation.

How can I stick my aside bar at the top when I already have content at the right ride section
The aside isn't for creating a side bar, this means you can place it anywhere you want including as the first element within your main content section.
The aside is useful for providing supporting content to your main content. The main content should be able to stand alone without it, but it helps improve.
Consider something like an article on crime, and the aside gives a 2-4 sentence comment about new policing techniques, and a chart, which supports the main article.

Hi Mr. Firstly I would like to say it is a tragedy and unable to comprendable how you only have a few subscribers. I am disgusted while yo have these other kids making money from video's on html and css and javascript and not explaining precendents and how the tags work. I have been watching video since late 2019 and this is the only video that explain what they are how they work. Thnank you very much. Next I need to ask you something I did the aside section but the aside section is overlapping the footer. Please could you advise me what do? If you understand what I mean. Also I have subscribed and will let people know about you. The overlap can be because of the spacing, and I believe I was using a float to move it to the side, which also takes it out of the normal flow, and can allow overlap.
