How to Use Resume Assistant in Word to Create a Great Resume

  • It can be challenging to know what to put on your resume, especially if it's been a long time since you've dusted yours off. Thankfully, Microsoft Word has Resume Assistant available for Microsoft 365 subscribers to assist in writing your resume.
    Resume Assistant shows real-life examples of how people in your field describe their skills and work experience. This not only provides inspiration to help you write about your own skills and experience, but it also offers a glimpse at what your competition may have on their resumes.
    To access Resume Assistant, click on the Review tab in Word then click on Resume Assistant. Or, if you open a resume template, it may open on its own for you.
