The Iberia business upgrade costed only 48€ during online check-in and it’s always a great opportunity to fly on a long-haul A330 business seat on an intra-european, 3h route. Great crew, ugly looking but tasty business meal, outdated seats? HOW WAS IBERIA on this short flight?

What a good deal for a 3-hour flight in business class. The service was great. I agree that it's not the best business class seat out there, but it surely is one of the best business class seats for a 3-hour flight
I'm due to fly on an A330 from LHR-MAD in a couple of months, and the seat I booked is the same one that you had for this journey, so thanks for the tour haha.
As far as longest taxi after landing.... definitely Pyongyang. We were the only plane landing but landed on the far runway, and the taxi distance from runway to terminal was between 7km - 8km. That beats both Madrid and the Polderbaan at Amsterdam by a long way :)

Yeah that was a real joy flight! They had very cheap business class tickets, sometimes even cheaper than economy! :D

That was a good deal! A unique opportunity to be in a lie flat seat without paying a fortune. I’ve been on the Iberia A330 to Panama 2 years ago. I think it was my first time ever when I got a business class upgrade.
