    Mines great. Had it for at least a decade. Can’t beat the size, weight, and quality. Mine has thousands of rounds through it.

    Rack the slide back and forth while watching tv and leave the slide back with the slide lock for a few days and only use round nose cartridges at least at first...I love mine...I can shoot it all day long...very comfortable for a tiny pistol.

      I’ll definitely try that out brother, thank you! Hopefully that’ll work for me cuz I really love it.

      @CompactEDC I hope the racking does help...it sure did on mine...rather than spending ammo for 200 round rough break in period. That feed ramp is very steep cuz it's such a small pistol so round nose rounds work very well. I wanted something small and light and it's perfect...the only one I like just as good or better is the S&W model 43c 22lr. 8 shot revolver...super light and fun to shoot and if it goes click on a round you just pull the trigger again...check it out. Spendy but I think well worth the price.

    In the middle of testing mine but so far so good! Maybe use it for malfunction clearing drills until it works itself out!

    I'm pretty sure kahr has a very specific 500 round break in period. I'm not sure if that's still the case but anybody I've ever heard talk about these say it really is around that 500 mark. People give them up and pawn them before they finish breaking them in

      Hard to tell brother I bought this used and I personally have shot upwards of 250 rounds I’ll do an update soon and see what result I get. I definitely love this gun just wished I can trust it! Thanks for the comment brother 💪🏽🙏🏽

    I’ve had one a while back, ran great after I broke in the recoil spring. I locked the slide back for 2 days and then the next 2 days left the slide forward. Did that for 2 weeks. Went to the range and other than 1 fte it ran great. After that never had another issue. The recoil spring is stupid tight on these and so is the chamber. Im looking to get another one again soon. They shoot like a bigger gun. Have you not tried to send your gun back to kahr to get looked at ?

      Thanks for the info brother! I’ll definitely try this out and see if I have any luck. I have not tried sending it back, I gotta look into that. I just threw it in the safe and gave up on it.

    What was the issue with the gun what was it doing or not doing. You told us what steps you took to remedy your problem, but what was the problem. You say unreliable. Please be more specific.

      Failure to feed and a lot of stove pipping. I tried several different brands of ammo and still haven’t been able to go through 2 mags without having issues. I really love the gun but I can trust it. Thanks for the comment brother.

    What was the issue?????

    • @CompactEDC
      @CompactEDC  5 месяцев назад

      I never got to the root of it. I changed the guide rod the springs and the magazine and it did perform better but not good enough for me to trust the gun with my life as an edc

    I did multiple mods before firing. Zero failures from this known crap gun.
    Yours was probably even worse when brand new. FYI, those saying you have to break in gun are in denial. A good gun doesn't have to be broken in.
    The recoil spring is too heavy. Why? Because rounds want to nosedive during feeding AND the firing pin spring is too heavy. AND, the slide does not cycle smooth. AND, the magazine spring is too stiff.
    Because instead of fixing design flaws, their "engineers" just increased spring tension to fix a certain issue. When they did that, they had to increase tension elsewhere, and so on. I can literally look at the gun and see the story. Engineers totally ignorant of guns designed it, copied other people.

      @@CompactEDCyeah, they'll probably discontinue it. Been looking for another new one and the entire internet is out of stock on them.
      I think they've given up on trying to fix it. So ridiculous since they can be fixed with drop in parts. And magguts is not the solution.

    Use daily?

    • @CompactEDC
      @CompactEDC  4 месяца назад

      No, not reliable. If it was reliable I would use it daily! I love the feel of the gun and the trigger.
