I am replacing my Shield with the Dagger Micro, which should be arriving at my FFL today, actually. I've been carrying Shields since 2013. They are fine and I never had a any reliability issues with them, but they're just dated in my opinion. They need a complete revamp just like the Bodyguard got. There is a lot of wasted space above the trigger on the shield, which results in a shorter, less comfortable grip. The Micro is nearly identical in height, yet has a longer, "full-feeling" grip, leading to better control, accuracy and draws from holster. I've also never liked all the writing all over the slide and sides of the Shield. I prefer the Micro's simple, sleek, utilitarian design. The Micro holds 50% more ammo in a flush-fitting mag, has a deeper optic cut, allowing for co-witness with the irons without having to put tall sights on it. Also, because it's based on a Glock, the complete disassembly is much simpler than the Shield (Shield requires removing the rear sight for complete disassembly). Add to that the rail, and you have the perfect carry size, function and capacity in my opinion. I'll put it through its paces before carrying it, but I'm not too worried about reliability. My PSA AR-15 runs like a champ and with the lifetime warranty, I'm confident PSA will make it right if I have any issues. Thanks for the video!

Mines great. Had it for at least a decade. Can’t beat the size, weight, and quality. Mine has thousands of rounds through it.

Both use the armor knight finish. The finish is impregnated into the slide material.

I fell in love with mine the instant that I felt it in my hand and it has turned out to be my EDC gun here in Sunny Florida!

My first glock I bought was the glock 19 gen 4 used, it came with some trijicon night sights. I hardly used it as it was my first time and I was nervous at the time to carry it loaded. I ended up getting the Glock 43x MOS as my 2nd Glock a few months later. By far an amazing choice for conceal and long term comfortability with modifications added on (tlr8ag & Holosun EPS carry 2 MOA Green dot and circle). I just don’t like the capacity, I know I can run a shield arms but I hear many iffy reviews about them failing or the spring doesn’t last as long. I just recently got my third Glock now, that being the 19x MOS. I love the feel to it, the 19 gen 4 was good for griping but it has a slightly smaller frame in length than the 43x MOS causing to pinch my hand more up the frame but with the 19x MOS, the g17 frame makes it an amazing grip. It is harder for conceal for me since I am very short but I tend to wear big shirts and hoodies for sure in the winter so I’ll have it for aside for those days. Will upgrade it soon and keep updates!

Having a Holosun optic on the Sig P365X tells me all I need to know about the PSA Dagger. 😂

I appreciate the comparison but imo these are even better together. The shield plus is a wonderful gun to carry every day and the bodyguard 2.0 is a fantastic pocket gun when the shield plus may be too large or you cannot carry it.

It's not cerakote. It's a nitriding process.

I’ve had one for only a couple weeks now, 100 rounds through it, no issues, and both mags locked back multiple times. It’s seems like a sweet little piece, and I bought it to replace my LCPII. But still waiting to get a few hundred more rounds through it, and receiving my holsters I’ve ordered, to replace my LCP. Do I like it better than my shields? No, the shields are the pinnacle of a carry weapon right now, but, if I’m truthful, I’m carrying my pocket pieces far more often than my 9’s.

I carry the shield plus or shield 2.0 integrated green laser every day! I pocket carry a Kahr p380 for pocket carry only when I’m in a gun free zone. Not sure if this 2.0 BG will make me want to switch it with the Kahr. Def looks nice

Awesome review! Unfortunately mine wasn’t that great..😒…FMJ rounds aren’t an issue, but defensive rounds, it’ll ONLY cycle Hornady Critical Defense. Any other defensive round like Underwood XD or ARX Inceptor gets STUCK in the chamber so bad you have to shoot it to eject the round. I’ve had over 60 ppl try to eject a round manually & nobody could do it…🤷🏻‍♂️…also my 12rd mag is an absolute nightmare to get the 12th rd in, had those same ppl try to load the 12th round w/only 28 ppl being able to do so…only has 88 rounds shot thru it as of now constant stove pipes & failure to feed..🤦🏻‍♂️…

I've been carrying this gun for 6 weeks. You describe this gun to a t. I am a bit on a heavy side, You describe the rash and the poking of the beaver tail carrying it in the appendix position sitting. One hundred percent on point. I carry it either in the pocket or on my strong side. Never a problem. Sometimes I forget I even have it on. This gun is for close quarters. There is no need to do or put anything on his gun to make it bigger. This gun was designed to be an up close and personal fighting firearm. I practice. point-and-shoot at 3 to 5 yards. One hundred percent center mass hits. Practice practice practice, guys.

Particularly like your observations on the holsters which have not really been addressed because it’s such a new treasure.It’s selling like crazy in the Detroit area

How accurate is the barrel?

My only pocket gun is Kahr p380 in Vedder pocket locker holster. I tried the LCP max and Glock 42 but they’re too big for my liking. If the holster is minimal this could be my next purchase. Depends on holster
