I am replacing my Shield with the Dagger Micro, which should be arriving at my FFL today, actually. I've been carrying Shields since 2013. They are fine and I never had a any reliability issues with them, but they're just dated in my opinion. They need a complete revamp just like the Bodyguard got. There is a lot of wasted space above the trigger on the shield, which results in a shorter, less comfortable grip. The Micro is nearly identical in height, yet has a longer, "full-feeling" grip, leading to better control, accuracy and draws from holster. I've also never liked all the writing all over the slide and sides of the Shield. I prefer the Micro's simple, sleek, utilitarian design. The Micro holds 50% more ammo in a flush-fitting mag, has a deeper optic cut, allowing for co-witness with the irons without having to put tall sights on it. Also, because it's based on a Glock, the complete disassembly is much simpler than the Shield (Shield requires removing the rear sight for complete disassembly). Add to that the rail, and you have the perfect carry size, function and capacity in my opinion. I'll put it through its paces before carrying it, but I'm not too worried about reliability. My PSA AR-15 runs like a champ and with the lifetime warranty, I'm confident PSA will make it right if I have any issues. Thanks for the video!

@@keven8047 I love it. Only have 120 rounds through it so far. 60 FMJ and 60 JHP (both Remington UMC 115 grain). Zero malfunctions or issues. Only issue I had was that PSA didn't include the correct length screws to mount the optic I bought with it (Raven red dot). I contacted customer service and requested the correct size. But, they sent the exact same WRONG ones again. Ended up sourcing my own 12mm M4 screws and then had to grind the right one a tiny bit to make sure it didn't mess with the extractor rod/spring. The pistol and mags seem to be in perfect working order. I took it apart and inspected everything thoroughly before cleaning, lubing and firing it.

@@thatsrich944 cool I've had a micro for quite a while but only put 1 mag thru it. I need to get it broken in so I can carry it

@thePreparedFather I sure did. The 1st few months, they both had tons of light primer strikes. Which has now worked itself out.
