extreme odst and mega does? Think about it a mega lasts as long as the mon is alive. Dynamax/Gigantimax only lasts 3 turns so you need to carefully think when and how to make the best use of the 3 turns. Mega all you need to worry about is who to use and how to keep them alive.
Pokemon would be a pretty easy game to cast but that said it could also be really boring. These caster are actually really good and bounce of each other really well. every time one of them finished a point the other one would pick it up. great to see good esports casting

I LOVE the first year of a new generation where the meta is just the regional dex, and no legendaries. It's the most interesting era of each meta by far, and I lose all interest after it widens to national. Matches become less strategic, and the opposite effect of expanding happens where teams are less diverse (because the legendaries invalidate most Pokemon being OP). I always come back to these videos and get hyped about 2023's meta with Scarlet + Violet!
RIP 2020 VGC :( I was so excited for it loved this format! now we dont get to see what the DLC brings to the meta. I hope they keep pushing the online events
If he brought out T-Tar, the Rhyperior gets a special defense boost for sandstorm being up. It would help Wolfe more than it would have helped Andrew unfortunately
@@nicholasbouchard7077 The timer was 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes (iirc), and they said nothing about it, since it's usually 15 minutes Wolfe assumed it was and tried to play for a timer win, but it was not, and he didn't win.
The real 4000 iq move was to start the same two Pokemon three times After he ran it back the first time, Wolfe was just like "there's no way he's gonna do it twice" and the mad lad followed through
Also not only was it spammed but it hits 2 Pokémon everytime. At that point it makes sense it hit something. Now missing a 95 percent chance to hit and losing cus of it. Thats super depressing

TBH this is the first championship that have decent commentators who sound like they actually know the game, unlike other franchises who hire people who don't know the basics of the game.
one thing i like about pokemon is that they make it so there are so many different viable pokemon and moves and strategies, you rarely ever see two opponents using the same Pokémon, its really neat.
They should use holograms and projectors to make the game visible like real life colosseum and all the audience is watching the hologram projections of the Pokemon doing the moves that would be sick

They probably bred the Pokémon. Through breeding, Pokémon can have better IV’s, learn more moves, and have a higher chance of having their hidden ability

@@luxrayfan4057 Beause i didn't had friends so i couldn't evolve it. I beat Cynthia using Garchomp, Rhydon, Dusclops, Tentacruel, Infernape and Giratina. Dusclops was my tank with his ice punch any time her garchomp one shot..... anyone else A giratina and garchomp if their were slower than her garchomp BOOM dragon rushed to death. the others? earthquaked to death. dusclops was the one who was able o survive at least 1 or 2 hits (although it was always a teamwork effort until i finally won because if i remmeber correctly her garchomp also had crunch). DUsclops just became better through passage of time thanks to Eviolite
Haven't been watching VGC for long, quick question: Isn't there single battle tournaments held by VGC? If not, is there a reason why they don't hold it? Is it just not as fun as watching doubles?
I know this is old but the reason they do double battles is cuz it’s more competitive. In singles you just need a high speed Pokémon to spam a powerful attack. In doubles it requires strategy and setup moves and not just high stat Pokémon.

The dusclops I use is a careful nature (special attack - special defense +) eviolite, pain split, will o wisp, substitute, and shadow punch. I had always loved this guy. I usually run a adamant nature tyranitar with the sand stream ability and giving it an assault vest so it was never one shot which I was very happy about of course haha. And one more to mention I loved using was my lapras with freeze dry, ice shard for priority which made life a little easier...anywhom I could go on but I always had loved fucking with teams from 1st and 2nd gen
