Looks like like some people just did their own thing and skipped the closure. Well handled though.

Cool and unfazed reaction by the band. Quick Mark Time. Car f*cked off out the way by the constabulary. Then a Forward, and on we go. No problem 👍😂

Great video Military Bands Everywhere, nice clear sharp picture and super sound, thank you for sharing. You captured the car saga really well and it gave evidence of how well drilled the bands are, though the band being led on this occasion by the very proficient Mr Chambers doubtless helped😊

Can't believe those idiots in the cars. Good job we were not at war! The soldiers would have taken care of them!

As a former tankie ( 3RTR ) this is totally alien to me, we were all about getting the job done, not having shiny boots, they didn't even play the regimental march My Boy Willie, the regimental quick march.

Times have changed...bro was in 19th Royal Artillery Pipes & Drums and they were only playing at official engagements...by the way, shiney boots and uniform were the normal in his time even when working - they had inspection every morning..

I agree...would have loved to see more of the marchers - started out with 1 troop then another one must have joined later or it was 2 different parades. Where were the RTR Pipes & Drums? Mr. Baton is all about the Bands which is why they only gave a small bit to the marchers. Even thpugh it was tiny amount of time, the boys and girls did an excellent job.@@tankman966

I am still waiting for someone to play the march "Tracks of steel" . I have only seen it played once at the Colchester tattoo 1986 and never again since. Its a good march !! Some of the Bandmasters and Directors of music need to dig a bit deeper in the archive and stop the monotony of fine but too often played marches.

@@midnightteapot5633 I was hoping to hear 'Fear Nought' played by the Massed Tank Band ~ a good march - I quite agree about delving into their archives and playing some 'unknown' marches' - most bands must have hundreds of marches in their libraries it would be good to hear - we can only hope
