This is my personal perspective: I like your female cane corso she was very attentive and alert to every thing you did,and didn't question anything you did in the walking on leash. In fact she was waiting on cues or commands from you from the start. Your male,as stubborn as many canes are he needs a little bit more work,he definitely has a lot of energy and anxiety wanting to lead and not allowing you to do the same. I don't know if you felt that way while walking him but I kinda saw that and I'm sure others probably did too. But other than,I enjoyed the patience and strong leadership role you have with both of these powerful companions. Just keep up with this training and I'm sure it will pay off in the end :)
Ironically I have done way more work with my male and very little if anything with the female. But yes I agree with you. My male has forced me to learn so much and will continue to do so. Lots of work to do with him and finally getting through my baseline work where I can finally start giving a correction. Definitely a work in progress. But super excited about my female as I was not expecting that.
@@Dogdayshomestead she's a lot smarter than you think lol. I'm glad you got both of them. Cause if you only had one of them, say the just the female you'll only see one side of her personality,as if you had just your male. And they in perspective would only know one side. But since you have both, you'll see Some Much More
Wow Logan's great - nice loose leash and he's looking at you all the time to see what you want. He respects you. My 9 month girl is pretty good on leash but getting this happening around big distractions outside is another thing! We've done marker training (as in Michael Ellis). it is simple, clear and effective.( though timings can always get better) I love it when they start offering behaviours.
I really like market training too! It gets a lot better as they mature. Look out for my Logan car video and you will see a terrified puppy vs one that has changed so much now that he is fully mature.
While I agree with some of the things you said in the video and some of the comments made on here up to now, I also got the vibe (and I could be WAY off) that especially in Logan's case, that his energy level was a few more notches higher than normal because he was on leash. Almost as if he remembers or has made the association that when the collar AND leash go on, there are fun times coming, and his energy seemed to reflect a "SO WHAT IS OUR ADVENTURE NOW MOM?" lol. Glad to see new content and really enjoyed the video, and hoping all is well with you and the family!
Yes there is definitely leash excitement as they know that is usually 1 on 1 time. However he is still half way there as he should be looking to me vs deciding the adventure lol. He is not bad though! Lots more to come with him especially 😜
To see the dogs only go to 3:40
