Your point of aging wrt players under Virat Captaincy is not appropriate. He handled the fast bowlers so well and that was the main reason of India succeeding in SENA countries in Tests. He made Ishant sharma succeed in his comeback. Shami also peaked in his captaincy and Siraj was a good find. I would also like to mention Umesh Yadav who also performed decently well in whatever opportunities he got during Virat's stint. One more aspect which will go in Virat's favour bigtime is his love for test cricket and literally it felt like he was the brand ambassador of Test Cricket which lots of greats like Warne, Morgan and chappel have highlighted.
The only person who comes close to Sir Clive Llyod is Ricky Ponting but you see the funny thing is when Ponting took over the captaincy Australia were pretty much taken care of they already had Warne, McGrath firing and the likes of Gilly and Haydos were cementing their position in the team. But Sir Clive is the one who made the West Indies great, like don't get me wrong they had some of the greatest players in the 60s and 70s but they weren't winners. It wasn't until the 1976 Frank Worell trophy that Clive took it on himself to change the shape of West Indies cricket and he did, he was the one who truly established that fearsome foursome pace attack.

Virat is a good captain but not the best logically we should also see how team moral built during this and when he took captaincy what were the state of indian cricket team. Leader should be pressure seeker.
