I just bought a pair of these and they’re the most comfortable boot out of the box I’ve ever owned! I’ve been running Danner super rainforest boots for about a decade and yes they are really good and durable boots but they take a couple weeks of torture to break in and still aren’t as comfortable as these red wings. I hope they last.
I’ve had great luck with the Traction Tred Lights, truly a very high quality extremely lightweight boot. Was able to get over a year out of mine, which is pretty unusual for me.
@@doublebase6509 the sales person at the Red Wing store told me that the tread would last roughly 2 years versus other boots that last roughly a year or less!
@@matthewschmitz8817 absolutely! Five of us bought these things at work a few years ago - one guy wore his pair for three years! Another actually had his re-soled after two years, and another guy went two years. I gave mine away after a year to my buddy, they still looked brand new on the sole. He uses them as a rotational pair. He only buys Traction Tred lights. I have since moved in to other brands because I like to experiment and try new boots.
@@hectorgonzalez258 thanks for leaving the comment and asking the question. I’m currently wearing the boots as of right now. They feel pretty comfortable on my feet. Just remember there is a strong breaking. So it will take some time.
The comfort takes a while to break in, but once they do it really is nice for your feet, otherwise the quality is all there! It’s really good and hold together well. As for how they look, they look about the same just the front has some scrapes etc but nothing it’s a work boot so that will happen.
Nice shoes! That middle thing on the laces is there to keep you from pulling the laces all the way, this is because you turn that thing when fastening your shoes tightly

How do they look after a little bit of wearing? How’s the quality and comfort?
