    Fantastic short. Artisan at work. From a blocky chunk of Hard wood to a well polish piece of art! We're now growing at the new property for the 1st time this year. Working in rocks and clay. Been amending and digging out little rows in our Alkaline soil 6.8. The spring rains are here and everything has boosted. I seeded the property with Crimson Clover hoping to inject much needed nitrogen, sugar and carbon to the native soil in prep for next year. I'm trying to source alfalfa , comfrey and a few other chop and drops to layer what little we have, building the soil structure up. My wife told me not to Johnny Appleseed the land ( throwing cover crops of beans melon and squash ) I did that anyway in defiance! Our food forest is slowly building up. I now have apple, peach and 3 types of berries ( x2 raspberry, x2 blue berries and x1 Gooseberry). Plans to further increase production will include many many 7a zone fruit bearing tree's and shrubs. Be good sir! Love the work you do. Shire Out!

      Lol going to do a special sheath on this one cause I know you like me to draw out the process 🤣. Yes the logo is forever, my own little design so pretty special to me.

    Love the handle, and the detail of leaving one ribbet hollow for cords or anything like that.
    Also, the colour of the wood is beautiful. Does it have chatoyancy, or is it me?

    • @DownunderFarmandForge
      @DownunderFarmandForge  Год назад +1

      Thank you very much! The wood is a Curly Tasmanian Blackwood that does tend to have chatoyancy, an absolutely beautiful wood
