Sasiprapa Muay Thai Gym, by Thakoon
One of the longest functioning gyms in Bangkok, Sasiprapra has a strong family feel as evidenced by the brothers Thakoon and Torsak's involvement through their promotion and arrangement of class training right down to the pad holding.
The training structure is a traditional one with running, morning and afternoon sessions. The gym itself is a focused surrounding with well loved equipment and located in Bangkapi, Bangkok.
Sasiprapa has a strong international reputation with frequent groups of visitors from various countries including America and the United Kingdom.
Class schedule: 8:00 -10:30 and 15:30-18:30
Class prices: THB400 /day (1 session); THB700/day (2 sessions)

How were the classes run at the gym? Standard bag work and then picked for a few rounds with a trainer? In Hua hin at the moment and thinking of going to BK to train
From our experience, we did pad work first and then bag work (under supervision). The atmosphere was lit as everyone was of a high level. The feeling is that most people that were there at that time were there to fight.
How much budget is needed for a good gym in bagkok for a full month training 2 sessions a day ? thanks
Really depends on the gym you choose! Best to decide on the gym which suits your style and level of experience. Take into account accomodation and how far will you be based in accordance to the gym or indeed stay on the gym premises if keen. But generally a sum of about 8000 to 12000 thb will be a pretty good range!

The prad kapow was 70 THB and the soup was also 70 THB!
