Just kind of a sad fact of life. The world's greatest talent in pretty much anything is probably not doing the thing they would be the greatest at. You probably have never been to the place you would be the happiest living. You'll probably never meet the person you'd be the most romantically compatible with.
It is very likely, yes. Although in my opinion it sounds rather professional for a mere demo tape. But if this was a band that was eventually recognized then somebody should have found something out about them by now.
Sounds very likely like Kiethevez when they started in the music busniness. They ended up playing synthpop. Also the band is Swiss and lived in Germany for fewer years(Where this song first came out). Perhaps it could be them becfause the voice is very alike. Also they usually recorded many demos. You can find some on their main webpage still
@@pdot7058 - Don't know, that doesn't really sound like them in my opinion. And the singer's accent doesn't seem to match that of the unknown band's singer.
Theory: This song is from an alternate dimension where it was a hit in the 80s. During a paradox, it came out of a rift in space-time and ended up somewhere
This adds to the theory that people feel like they heard this song from somewhere, maybe in another parallel universe the song was released and we knew it so that's maybe why it sounds familiar. 🤷🏽
When thy name is discovered. When thy name is uttered, thou shall ascend to god hood and take thine place as deities. Thou shall usher in the dawn of the new age. Discover thy name Utter thy name Bless be thy name At the dawn of the turning of an age, thy name shall ring out from the heavens, the earth will shake as those who believe shall ascend. Discover thy name and utter it.
If that one person hadn't recorded this tape, this song would've been lost forever. Think about that. Think about all the thousands upon thousands of truly amazing songs that have been lost to time.
I'm 56, and let me tell you 99% of *everything* before the internet and cell phones was lost to time. School plays, talent shows, ball games, parties, vacations. Gone. BUT that was what made pre-internet life special. Every event was never done before and will never be done again. Go places, do things, live life.
We need to get radio stations to start playing this song so that it can get out there more, youtube and reddit isn’t enough. We must find the creators!!
@rage-cs: its just marketing, theres no lost song. perhaps the result of a track made by artificial intelligence or pushing something new. think deeper: what do we hear here? someone who tries to be like depeche mode on purpose - like almost every band after the first wave of the new wave. second: why trying to sing like dave gahan (must be after 84) but not using the instruments who were available then such as the emulator keyboards or later samplers? this doesnt match together, like someone did it with specific intention. and tbh: the voice of the singer doesnt reflect the 80s very much to me...it sounds like someone from nowadays wanted to catch the feeling from this time while putting everything in one bucket that could match to a 80s song, but made in 2019. its clear to me its not an old record. i could analyze the mastering in my studio to see if it has the signature of mixed&mastered music from this time - but im sure i will see the dynamics of a todays mixdown.
This is the song that would play on the radio at 2:00 AM when you’re driving through a long winding road, half concious, half dreaming, not sure where you’re going, just kinda existing in the moment.
Somewhere in a parallel universe, this song was a Goth rock classic and was even featured as the end credits music of an ultra-violent anime OVA called "Go For A Punch"
Theory: Mystery Song Originated In East Germany 1. The song was written and performed by an underground band in East Germany. The lyrics of the song have the "feel" of someone living in a totalitarian society dreaming about escaping to freedom. The song has allusions to the Berlin Wall, underground tunnels and subversion against a totalitarian regime. 2. Someone smuggled a recording of the song into West Germany and somehow it made it's way to a German radio station where it got played. 3. The band who made the song were arrested by the East German secret police and disappeared. They were either executed or sent to a Siberian gulag for making "illegal" Western music which was banned in the Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc countries. Any other copies of the song were considered treasonous propaganda and destroyed.
I too have been searching through obscure songs and bands here on YT, while I didn't find this song. I did find an interesting one from a band from Sweden from a dozen years ago called "Hearts of Black Science " . ruclips.net/video/66cYbD_Nvuw/видео.html
@@sportbilli735 Yes! OR it could be a COVER BAND who performed Stranglers hits in local pubs AND also recorded and did some original tunes. So, if anyone who is really familiar with The Stranglers...Find out what cover bands performed Stranglers songs at the time. That maybe is where the answer lies.
I may be a bit late to this, but I have a theory as to where it came from. Due to the singers voice, it is definitely Eastern European, and I believe this band is Hungarian, for 2 reasons a) the songs lyrics are often interpreted as dark and hopeless, in a place you cannot escape. Hungary at the time (1982-1984) was under communist control, and this fits the lyrics well. b) I researched this and found out about how many punk and new wave bands from Budapest and Szeged mailed their demo tapes to western Germany in search of success. This is also backed up by a few NME articles about punks being locked up as they did not meet the governments preservation of older music. They are all from 1984, the same year that this song is believed to have played. This is just theorising, but when I can finally travel to Hungary again after the world is somewhat back to normal, I will make sure to investigate in a couple of record stores and museums that I found in my last trip there :)
One other thing is if the band were Hungarian there is a good chance that the band name and song title was originally written in Magyar. That used to happen although the lyrics are in English, the title would be in the native language and alphabet. Which makes it harder to find when the majority of people looking don't know the first thing about the Hungarian written language.
Hmm the enunciation is a bit different to Hungarian though. We usually put emphasis on the first syllable of every word. Although in singing this can be hidden.
Sounds like a song of the radio show 'Spleen' hosted by Richard Zijlstra which was on Hilversum. Though I maybe wrong but sounds like something off the Play magazines. Or before the 1984 redoing of the show. It could probably explain the poor audio quality of the voice of the singer. Hope that helps
@@harrison553 They already know who the DJ that most likely played the track is, he was Paul Baskerville, one of the DJs on a German radio programme called "Musik für junge Leute", and he has nomemory of thesong.

I've been listening to this song for 11 hours in a row, not counting yesterday, and I just can't stop listening.Surprising that no one knows it name yet
Lyrics: [Verse 1] Like the wind You came here running Take the consequence of leaving There's no space There's no tomorrow There's no self communication [Chorus] Check it in, check it out Or the sun will never shine They're a long way away In the subways of your mind [Verse 2] Like the wind You're gonna suffer Let a smile be your companion There's no place And there's no sorrow In the young and restless dreamer [Chorus] Check it in, check it out Or the sun will never shine They're a long way away In the subways of your mind [Instrumental Bridge] [Chorus] Check it in, check it out Or the sun will never shine They're a long way away In the subways of your mind [Outro] Check it in, check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in, tear it out It's the real excuse Check it in, check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in, tear it out It's the real excuse Check it in, check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in, tear it out It's the real excuse Check it in, check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in, tear it out It's the real excuse
Most of these lyrics are actually what I thought when listening to the song, except for a few of them: There's no self communication - for me it sounded more like "theres no sense for munication" which i guess is communication shortened? In the young and restless dreamer - for me it sounded more like "hear the young and restless screaming" which is pretty unfittingly dark so I guess the screaming is actually "dreaming" Its the summer blues - it sounded more like "in/with the sun or moon" It's the real excuse - it sounded more like "cuz they're leaving/reading you" But everything else was top notch
Throughout the 80’s, I always had a few part time musician friends and relatives who played guitar, keyboards and sang and owned mini studio mixer/recorder combos, along with drum machines that sounded very similar to this, who were amazingly good but sadly went no where with their talent. For every success story there are a 100 more unheard or discovered, especially in small towns. There’s no mystery, there were just no outlets for exposure, unlike today with the internet and TV talent shows.
Imagine like a bunch of homeless guys in the street with a radio playing this song then saying “ music is just really not for us” damn that would probably hurt
After some searches , I have two theories that might be possible: 1. This sounds like a Cisse Häkkinen 80’s Finnish new wave type of thing , so it might be one of his demos which was just played on the radio for marketing purposes but because there was no interest , it remained unreleased and therefore lost. 2. It might’ve been a wannabe “breakout” project for some little indie/rock band (there were a lot of these in the late 80’s) but because of lack of funds , the song never got released or if it did, then it wasn’t a success and maybe the band disbanded.
It has a decidedly European "demo cassette" many bands may have had - cheap paid studio time, minimum cassette copies... no real public releases or record deal. Vaguely "European" accent. You're right on.
I listened to Cisse Häkkinen now and his style is very different but kinda have the same singing style on some songs. But this sounds way more 80s and the vocals are also more deeper, and also slower paced in style and completely different from Häkkinen´s work. Completely different groove and style. Häkkinen´s words when singing also can be heard clearer. If this was his work it would be his best work, so theres no reason for him to trhow it away like it was nothing. Also production wise this dont sound like his work. I believe this theory to be wrong. I think this song has a better melody then all the Häkkinen songs. The person who made this song put a lot of effort into it, and so I dont believe he would have thrown it away.
Once the author / singer of this song has been found, he should be invited to re-record it with newest audio technology. This recording sounds like the very oldest LPs from Böhse Onkelz.
I can imagine the Band Members reading the comments and have a good laugh. Btw. The Song is actually very nice. EDIT: They found the Band. It's FEX from northern Germany. They banded together again and are working on a new version!
Found this post on another site a few days ago. HailRider 3 weeks ago Back in the late 80's and early 90's (89-92) there were a group of us foreigners living in and around Fujisawa, Japan. Most of us were teaching english (ESL). I think I know who this is. Kai Becker. He had a small home studio and called himself GGG for german guitar god. Almost all of us were guitarists and would play in the bars for free, just for fun. Kai was probably the better player of all of us and had gone to a school for both guitar and recording. After I made fun of his first recording he brought to a bar (song was called: do ya wanna dance with me...ya ya) and he overheard a Japanese music professional say to me "You are the best guitarist here" He pretty much went straight home and began working on this. I recognize the voice and play style, phrasing. Seems like I have heard this before. I remember he processed the vocals by putting it through a Korg reverb and something else. His voice wasn't naturally so low. If I recall he used the technique of recording the Vs at a slightly higher tempo then slowing the V track down and THEN mixing down with the instrumentation. I had a programmable Yamaha drum machine back then (still have it) and I think he had the same one. Sounds like it.
Imagnie this would never being recorded.. like it would just die, because nobody cared. Im happy that its still a thing for the meme. But no jokes its a very good song. Thnks for the likes. And the heart. 😭
Imagine how many songs like that actually have existed, maybe only played once or twice on a radio, either never recorded or recordings just lost, forgotten by everyone, faded to obscurity
Actually, is a nice idea, if you put it on a mainstream media and try to monetize it it will probably still infringe Copyright, so the authorship owners will must likely come out to legally try and claim the content and thus revealing themselves, maybe it's not the band itself but could get a lead

Sounds great. I can't believe no one can trace it down, unless of course it never existed...and the whole thing is a hoax by some 80's cover band. If this was actually recorded from the radio then why is it allowed to fade to the end? Usually radio stations start the next song just as the last one is ending so that there is no dead air. Why was it recorded in mono? Here are some questions that I asked on other postings of this and never gotten a reply, so I'll repost them here. Sounds like the band took a few elements from "Jethro Tull" (Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll, Too Young to Die), few elements from (Unsatisfied) by the "Nine Black Alps" along with some other bits and pieces. . The echo and instrumentation reminds me of "The Stranglers" (Always The Sun). I hear some wow and flutter so the source is likely from a cassette tape. Time frame could be mid 1980's to early 90's. Forgive me if I am repeating anything here that's been already asked or bought up elsewhere on the internet. Here are my questions and comments... 1...Has the station that allegedly played this song been contacted? What did they say? 2...Why is this in mono? 3...Has anyone done a breakdown of what parts of the song sounds like (like I did above) ? 4...There a tons of great songs played over the years that were played once or twice on the radio and then faded into obscurity that hasn't reached the level that this song has. I need to ask, is this part of some publicity stunt? 5...Where was this found? 6...Who found it? 7...How was it found in 2019? 8...How come only a small section was found but then the full version emerges (furthering the mystery/hype)? 9...The song is good and there are a LOT of great obscure songs that came and went. Why is such attention paid to THIS song above all the others? 10..Is the author of the original Reddit post secretly connected to the band in question? 11..How did the author of the Reddit post get a hold of the song to begin with. (I read the Reddit article a few days ago and didn't see or must have missed how the song came to his attention).
Some german radio shows in the 80s where proud to play songs and sometimes albums in their entirety, with no DJ yacking over it. It was never explicitly said, but actually this was to please the people hometaping...
@@maltesartor711 Some U.S. FM rock stations did that too in the late 70's and early 80's. They would a play one complete album with no talking and it would occur late at night .
I can just imagine some.. idk? 4-5 dudes making this song in their low budget studio, maybe their room even in the late 80's.. They having a blast and a fun time, NEVER decided upon publishing it but somebody caught up and got their disk or whatever it was recorded on, kept it and played it on the radio. I remember one claim that some reporter played this song on the radio but he couldn't remember the groups nor songs name at all. Those were the real times without internet and stuff when dudes be making band and having a total blast just jamming out.. Kudos and salutes to these guys whenever and whereever they might be now... Y'all made a masterpiece.
Its kind of sad and a shame because the band that made this song really would have gone far in life, they would have been so successful. Where the members of the band are I hope they or at least one of them come out and answer ours prayers for the name of the song and even reunite the band.

We need to get the NSA to look into this, they could find it in seconds. Surely they recorded German radio in the 80s, so it's in the archives somewhere.

What's crazy is it's pretty likely they are actually saying the title of the song in the lyrics, but the audio is so reverbed that you can't understand what the guy's saying clearly. My best suggestion is to look at a list of songs played in germany at whatever time it came out.
If this is our world's end credits song, then lines like "take the consequence of living", "there is no space(fate), there is no tomorrow", "The sun never shine" kinda make sense here... I found these lyrics in lyrics video and.
The end credits of an 80's action movie are rolling as the still of the main character riding into the sunset on a bike fades slowly to black. I wish we could find this song.
I commented it somewhere before but it's worth saying again. It infuriates me that *someone* out there has this on a cassette tape from when it was recorded, maybe the front man of whatever band this was and they never took off but every now and then he listens to it having no clue there's millions of people who *need* to know who he is.

my theory is that the alvin dean guy that sounds similar to the one band statues in motion he voiced is him singing it but has something to do with a different band instead, the band had decided to make a demo and made a copy of the song before realizing after it being sent to a radio station they didnt really want it out there (but here we are) and the band went on to rename and do other songs instead going into statues in motion. (probably wrong but god knows where this came from)
Having listened to many different versions and at many different speeds I'm fairly confident I can clearly understand the lyrics and make them out easily and I believe they are as follows Like the wind You came here running Take the consequence we'll do this There's no space There's no tomorrow There's no sense for new division Check it in check it out For the sun will never shine They're a long way away in the subways of your mind Like the wind Your gone in summer Let a smile be your companion There's no place And there's no sorrow Heal the young and restless dreamer Check it in check it out For the sun will never shine They're a long way away In the subways of your mind Check it out check it out For the sun will never shine They're a long way away in the subways of your mind Check it in check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in tear it out Is it really you Check it in check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in tear it out Is it really you Check it in check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in tear it out Is it really you Stack it in Check it out It's the summer blues Tear it in tear it out Is it really you Everytime I listen to this now that's exactly what I can make out and slowing down the playback speed makes some of it stand out clearly so I fully believe these to be correct
Like the wind You came here runnin' Take the consequence of livin' There's no space There's no tomorrow There's no sense communication. Set it in, Set it out So the sun won't (n)ever shine Bear along anyway in the subways of your mind Like the wind You're born in summer Let a smile be your companion There's no place And there's no sorrow Hear (Here) the young and restless dreamin' Set it in, Set it out So the sun won't (n)ever shine Bear along anyway In the subways of your mind Set it in, Set it out It's the summer moon Tear it in, Tear it out Is it really you? Set it in, Set it out It's the summer moon Tear it in, Tear it out Is it really you?... - That's my take anyway, as a 50-year student and teacher of English. The major differences between my "translation" and most of the others are these: I'm 99.999% sure it's "s", not "ch", yielding "Set it in, Set it out" instead of "Check it in, Check it out." Additionally, I hear "sense communication." There is absolutely NO "t;" "sent communication" is not possible. I seem to hear, at about 85% certainty, the double negative "sun won't never shine". I desperately wanted the next line to be "There a long way away," because that would make more sense, but that "anyway" is just too stubbornly THERE, and won't move. I'm 100% percent sure (says the arrogant fool) that it's "You're BORN IN SUMMER" (there is absolutely NO WAY it can be "to suffer"). However, I'm only about 95% on it being "moon" instead of "blues" in the fadeout (it's more clearly "moon" the second time). I'm 101% sure about "Is it really you?", though. That's my take. (Edit: On doubling my listening effort, I am now convinced that it's "So the sun" instead of "Or the sun," and have made the change in my lyric above). (Edit edit: I'm now at 99.9999% that it's "summer moon" 3 times out of 4; only the first time could even possibly be "blues"). (Edit edit edit: Dammit! I now keep hearing "Bear ("carry a burden") along anyway in the subways of your mind." Makes sense; think I'm going to go with that. "Bear along" makes a tiny bit more sense that "There along," anyway (in the subways of MY mind!) (I'm wondering...since there's no "sense communication," perhaps there are subliminals that we are to "bear" in the "subways of (our) mind" - "Set it in" - the subconscious). Final edit: With a gun to my head, I'd say the title is most likely "Summer Moon."
Finally the lyrics I'm satisfied with. Most of the other ones make no sense when in comes to the meaning of the song. This one can be actually interpreted and analyzed.
It's a really catchy tune. Definitely 80s. Just wondering how such a song could go under the radar during those days. Hope the artist / band can be found.
I feel like I've heard this before, but when I hear other 80s songs I don't get the same feeling, this one has like a special weird touch, really can't describe it.
Such depressing lyrics with such a happy beat. It’s so peppy. I wish someone would stick it in a movie and if they get sued we will finally know who the hell it’s by.
If ever the origin of this song, artists, producers will never be found, I am still thankful that I have encountered this mysterious song. I'm thankful that I've heard it once in my life. I think to listen to a "mysterious song" is crazy enough. Why? Imagine if this is known as the "mysterious song" but no one recorded it. That's why even though the chance of finding the origin of this song is impossible, at least we had listened to this even once. It's one in a lifetime experience.
If this is our world's end credits song, then lines like "take the consequence of living", "there is no space(fate), there is no tomorrow", "The sun will never shine" kinda make sense here...
There are multiple things about this song that make me think this is actually a publicity stunt for something and made very recently/in 2007. For instance, the beat is exactly 130 BPM, which is the standard setting in many music softwares. Secondly, it seems like as many elements as possible of well known songs, especially Cutting Crew ones were blended in to create the illusion for as many people as possible they have heard this before. Third, the lyrics itself change their accent drastically (from British to German to Swedish/Finnish for instance) from verse to verse and also seem to be pronounced in a way that allows people to hear many different words in one "vocal sound".
As far as I'm concerned this song was uploaded to a forum in 2007 as a recording because someone wanted to know who the singer is. People looked at the Metadata and the song was recorded in ~1980 from a radio or something
Sounds like a German, Greek or Slavic band in my opinion The person that suggested moving statues was on a good path. I'd say if people are trying to find this song, find songs that sound something like Falco, Molchat Doma or similar. It has that old guitar riff sound to it that most 80's stuff do but narrowing it down to just a few bands' sounds might be better.
what if it's like a bootstrap paradox where someone from the future leaves it here and then we just kind of ponder over where it came from for ages until someone goes back in time in attempt to figure out it's origins only to accidentally be the one to release it? maybe i've been watching too many sci fi shows
I love this song, a lot, the lyrics are just perfect. I'm glad because we have the song complete, at least we can enjoy It, even if nobody knows who is the band. I wish the lost song "How long Will It take?" And other unknown songs were totally found
So, passing thought here. Maybe this isn't an old song at all but one that was created with song writing software. It might explain why the lyrics seem a little odd in places. Perhaps someone used such software to create a song and then sang the generated lyrics, added some effects, and so on. Like I said, just a thought I had after listening to this a couple of times, though it doesn't align with the alleged origin story that spawned the mystery to begin with. Whatever the real story of this song is, it's become one of my top fave internet mysteries
I heard someone recorded this from the radio in the 80s and tried to find out who it was as early as the mid 2000s while looking thru old radio recordings he did in the 80s. And posted about it on reddit forum or something in the 2000s to try find the artist. Nobody knew in the 2000s who it was and nobody had heard the song before. And the search for the song got populare again in the late 2010s with internet, youtube, tiktok etc. But you dont know whats real in todays world, and the whole thing could be created as a hoax. Maybe a band decided to get together to create a "lost 80s song" and started to make this as an art project or hoax. I highly doubt it, and i believe this to be an actually lost song from the 80s. I think there are hundreds of lost songs like this who people forget, or who never blows up. Just imagine 30-40 years from now when teenagers brows thru old soundcloud tracks form 2020s made by thousand of anonymous people. Soundcloud is gonna be a museum of independent artist across the world who didnt make it big and nobody know their back story or who they were. The internet will be a time capsule. That Song is from a German Schoolband from "Gymnasium Corvinianum in Northeim" they record the Song with Exchange Student from Tourlaville/France, the Guy on the Mic was a articled Clerk in France and History, his Lastname was Hillmann or Hitmann. They found with luck a semi/pro studio technician who recorded that one Song. And the Band has no Name!

Theory: Mystery Song Originated In East Germany
It's because the song uses very simple chord progression. I don't know the chords but it's one that's relatively common.
I may be a bit late to this, but I have a theory as to where it came from.
Due to the singers voice, it is definitely Eastern European, and I believe this band is Hungarian, for 2 reasons
a) the songs lyrics are often interpreted as dark and hopeless, in a place you cannot escape.
Most of the theories suggests eastern bloc countries from East Germany to poland
@@joetrump2983 definitely reminds me polish music. But yes it makes sense.
Have you mentioned this on the subreddit? I'm sure they'd love to hear everything you know/think.

In the young and restless dreamer - for me it sounded more like "hear the young and restless screaming" which is pretty unfittingly dark so I guess the screaming is actually "dreaming"
Its the summer blues - it sounded more like "in/with the sun or moon"
It's the real excuse - it sounded more like "cuz they're leaving/reading you"
But everything else was top notch

@Soups Apparently not since you're asking over a month later. Wanting more or something?
I felt like I read this before idk
@@iwillmakehistory313 Yeah. I saw it on another version.
After some searches , I have two theories that might be possible:
Cool!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if some garage band starts playing this somewhere because it has such a huge following with no found artist

Back in the late 80's and early 90's (89-92) there were a group of us foreigners living in and around Fujisawa, Japan.

Best remastering on RUclips, hands down! 👏👏👏
The song is literally as light weight as a wind, never to be discovered and always to run away and travel around the world.
excellent job! hope the band surfaces soon
Wow other brony
it does sound like it could have been a hit single on the 1980s...
It was a failure
I commented it somewhere before but it's worth saying again.
It infuriates me that *someone* out there has this on a cassette tape from when it was recorded, maybe the front man of whatever band this was and they never took off but every now and then he listens to it having no clue there's millions of people who *need* to know who he is.
My uncle is a DJ at a club and they have an 80s night every month, I'm gonna try to get him to play this. If he does I'll take a video of it
Fuhf
Oh. So?
I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't heard this before.

Theory: Mystery Song Originated In East Germany

Oh I saw this on Reddit
Nah, i think the song is about nightlife.
Why do i feel like i have heard this song before?
the chords + distorted reverbing vocals, I mean all hypnogogic pop is like this
The beginning is similar to Cutting Crew's "(I Just) Died In Your Arms", which was a US, Canadian & European hit back in 1986 and 1987.
Leaked from another universe
my theory is that the alvin dean guy that sounds similar to the one band statues in motion he voiced is him singing it but has something to do with a different band instead, the band had decided to make a demo and made a copy of the song before realizing after it being sent to a radio station they didnt really want it out there (but here we are) and the band went on to rename and do other songs instead going into statues in motion. (probably wrong but god knows where this came from)
Having listened to many different versions and at many different speeds I'm fairly confident I can clearly understand the lyrics and make them out easily and I believe they are as follows
Like the wind
You came here running
Take the consequence we'll do this
There's no space
There's no tomorrow
There's no sense for new division
Check it in check it out
For the sun will never shine
They're a long way away in the subways of your mind
Like the wind
Your gone in summer
Let a smile be your companion
There's no place
And there's no sorrow
Heal the young and restless dreamer
Check it in check it out
For the sun will never shine
They're a long way away
In the subways of your mind
Check it out check it out
For the sun will never shine
They're a long way away in the subways of your mind
Check it in check it out
It's the summer blues
Tear it in tear it out
Is it really you
Check it in check it out
It's the summer blues
Tear it in tear it out
Is it really you
Check it in check it out
It's the summer blues
Tear it in tear it out
Is it really you
Stack it in
Check it out
It's the summer blues
Tear it in tear it out
Is it really you
Everytime I listen to this now that's exactly what I can make out and slowing down the playback speed makes some of it stand out clearly so I fully believe these to be correct
and the sun* guess
This song name is "Shine" by Murupolistson, my grandpa remembered it when I asked about it.
I can't find anything on Google about this band
Like the wind
You came here runnin'
Take the consequence of livin'
There's no space
There's no tomorrow
There's no sense communication.
Set it in, Set it out
So the sun won't (n)ever shine
Bear along anyway in the subways of your mind
Like the wind
You're born in summer
Let a smile be your companion
There's no place
And there's no sorrow
Hear (Here) the young and restless dreamin'
Set it in, Set it out
So the sun won't (n)ever shine
Bear along anyway
In the subways of your mind
Set it in, Set it out
It's the summer moon
Tear it in, Tear it out
Is it really you?
Set it in, Set it out
It's the summer moon
Tear it in, Tear it out
Is it really you?...
- That's my take anyway, as a 50-year student and teacher of English. The major differences between my "translation" and most of the others are these: I'm 99.999% sure it's "s", not "ch", yielding "Set it in, Set it out" instead of "Check it in, Check it out."
Additionally, I hear "sense communication." There is absolutely NO "t;" "sent communication" is not possible.
I have to agree with "you're born in summer". I can clearly hear 'summer' in the spot 'somewhere'/'suffer' is supposed to be in.
Finally the lyrics I'm satisfied with. Most of the other ones make no sense when in comes to the meaning of the song. This one can be actually interpreted and analyzed.
@@jakubsierota473 Any chance the 6th line being "There's no sent communique"?
It's a really catchy tune. Definitely 80s. Just wondering how such a song could go under the radar during those days. Hope the artist / band can be found.
This song is probably made by finnish singer Cisse Häkkinen
Hui suomalaisii
Unfortunately, he and the Hurriganes has been ruled out by asking a Hurriganes collector some questions and stated its not him.
This Song Is From Another Universe, The Song Is Called "Check It In, Check It Out", And The Band Is Called "The Rocksters".
Mika Hakkinen
I feel like I've heard this before, but when I hear other 80s songs I don't get the same feeling, this one has like a special weird touch, really can't describe it.
This song is haunting me.....I cannot get it out of my head.......
I am scared of it.
Such depressing lyrics with such a happy beat. It’s so peppy. I wish someone would stick it in a movie and if they get sued we will finally know who the hell it’s by.
the last song ever played in 5 billion years
If ever the origin of this song, artists, producers will never be found, I am still thankful that I have encountered this mysterious song.
Imagine if this song came from a parallele universe, idk but it has something really really dark in my opinion
People looked at the Metadata and the song was recorded in ~1980 from a radio or something
imagine an alternate universe where the name of this song is known but the audio is lost
Sounds like a German, Greek or Slavic band in my opinion
The person that suggested moving statues was on a good path.
I'd say if people are trying to find this song, find songs that sound something like Falco, Molchat Doma or similar. It has that old guitar riff sound to it that most 80's stuff do but narrowing it down to just a few bands' sounds might be better.
A famous band came to our earth from a parallel universe, they spent a few days here and recorded this song before going back to their own universe.
This doesn’t sound very creepy to me. Because I know the actual name of this song. It’s called “Subways Of Your Mind” by Randall Turner. :)
There's one problem. I think, he is a faker
Wrong
Thankfully it’s been proven he didn’t make it. He somehow got the title right though.
Thanks for the remaster. This sounds authentic 1980s. Yes I lived through it.
This would be a music from aliens trying to sing like a human
This is actually really beautiful

Esto solo se define de dos maneras
what if it's like a bootstrap paradox where someone from the future leaves it here and then we just kind of ponder over where it came from for ages until someone goes back in time in attempt to figure out it's origins only to accidentally be the one to release it?

Sounds like an early project from the band "CAMOUFLAGE" or "NEW ORDER"
or Depeche Mode
Sounds similar to new order 'subculture' 1995
It sounds like Sisters of Mercy or Clan of Xymox.
I thought of New Order but the lead singer’s voice seems a little higher pitched than the song here.
I guess New Order might be possible...
Even the comment i am posting now someone probably will review in 30-40 years. Lost in time, lost in space. funny to think about now, that one day we´ll all be ghosts from the past.
