Thanks. This helps so much. 1994 b3000. Its suck in lock position. Have new tumbler. Hope it goes well. I love this truck. I just hope to keep it running. Getting close to 256000 miles.
I’m in the same predicament it’s an older truck but same lock design ugh I knew I was gonna have to drill it just don’t wanna looks like imma have to destroy the pins inside drilling it to get it to turn then compress the pin to lock cylinder and slide it out and replace
I just got an 88 ranger for a doing a roofing job with no key. I got the switch out but the peg is in the key hole I can't get it out. Hid do I remove that part without any damage being done?
OK, a guy did this to mine. I've been using screwdriver since, hoping for time to replace cylinder. Problem is, little button near hazard switch not outside hole. Also, screwdriver no longer works. Ignition stuck in running. Stopped on its own, cuz got hot due to coolant leak. Disconnected battery. IDK how to turn screwdriver or position cylinder button back through hole. I have 2nd steering column I can cannibalize for parts. Also, no steering wheel puller, way to get to town to rent one. Suggestions appreciated.
I am a locksmith, and this video did not demonstrate how to remove the lock cylinder. And we charge "too much" because we are not gunna drill it out and damage anything. This model is easy to remove ignition without damaging or drilling anything even if keys are missing
Never ever ever evvvvvva evvvvvver make another video ever again i mean thanks for the info but JESUS enough with every single little tiny bit of info and every single little ity bity step i almost had a stroke.... again thanks for the try. But u sir are a great person with undoubtedly great and humble friendship qualities that i myself strive to obtain and u no doubt go above and beyond for ur friends and family but u sir are without question lacking in the step by step informative video catalog but only in the "expressing only the vital info " and not every single detail... any way sorry for the aburt way for speaking to u but if i did not. i would have had a major family squabble from the sheer fustration experience and exposure of ur video but thanks for the useful parts and information 😐

Could you please make a vid showing how bc the drilling isn’t working for me
@@ryleygallagher_03 you’ll need a Jiggler key
@@ryleygallagher_03 or a lock pick to turn it over
@@pouncerminned863 well mine now currently has no key cylinder in it at all and I can’t get it to turn all the way over just turns on to accessories
@@ryleygallagher_03 how or what did you do first? maybe drilling it ruined your chance of a clean removal
Hey what’s the wire for?
I literally had my key for my 93 ranger copied at a hardware store for like 3-4 bucks lol
Which is great if you didn't lose the original.
Hey bro they broke into my truck it’s a 2003 on if you call me to help me out to see if I can takeoff the ignition cylinder
