    I like Rick. He seems humble for a former GM and understands that he could be wrong on his takes but at least explains his point of view.
    Unlike a certain former Jets GM...

      As a resident in toledo, Ohio, and a falcons fan, I would actually be happy if we drafted him. He's not just a game manager and better than a lot of people give him credit for. He can sling if need be. I like that he can see the field so well.

    You know why you can't predict which QB'S will be successful? Because situation is everything. Do you really think all the QB'S drafted by Cleveland were just fools gold, or could it have been an awful situation? If the Bears had drafted Mahomes, he wouldn't have 3 superbowl rings. If another team had drafted Brady and he was forced to start instead of walking into a perfect situation after Bledsoe got hurt, then TB12 wouldn't be a household name. All of these guys are talented, but situation dictates their window for success.

      You just assuming
      What if the player would’ve been great placed in any situation?
      Stop with the bush league nonsense

    • @113lostmalice
      @113lostmalice 4 месяца назад

      @itssnoopy333 If I was just assuming then all these so called experts would be right about their rankings at least most of the time, and it wouldn't of happened to Drew Bledsoe twice. TB12 and Romo walked right into perfect situations and had success. Cleveland drafted countless great college QB's who all ended up with awful careers.
      Want more examples?
      Favre in Atlanta = awful, GB = amazing
      Steve Young in TB = awful, SF = amazing.
      Geno in NY = awful, Seattle = pretty darn good.
      It's hardly guessing.

    I saw a stat somewhere about accuracy at all levels of the field and Rattler was leading in almost all the levels of the field. I think somebody in a good situation might get him and be really happy.I think the patriots will take him in the 2nd tbh.

      I think he’d fit well with the Broncos and Sean Payton. He’s efficient and doesn’t turn the ball over very much. He will probably still be on the Board by the time Denver’s pick is up, don’t be surprised if he does go there

  • @Caseshells123
    @Caseshells123 4 месяца назад +1

    Williams not big on him as I don’t think he can see the field the way a Mahomes or Stroud can. If you watch those guys they can see the play developing in front of them. Most QBs can’t do that. They just use their talent not their head and unfortunately in the NFL that only works 80 percent of the time for these guys with amazing talent. That’s why guys can last 10-15 years in the league and never play on the same team more then 3 years

    • @Foxpandawombat
      @Foxpandawombat 4 месяца назад +2

      I think people are misinterpreting his out of structure play as not seeing the field. There are numerous examples of him working full field reads. He played extremely aggressively as SC had one of the 10 worst defenses in college football.

      His throwing mechanics as is, would be unconventional on the nfl level. That might dissuade some nfl gm's from pursuing him in the first rd.

    When talking about Spencer Rattler dude says he onlt made USC a good to avg SEC team. Peyton Manning probably the SEC best QB historically with a better University only produced a good to average SEC team. Then he say he throws the ball great it comes out smooth all of this but his decisions making. Well he said Caleb decisions making can be coached away. He was beat out at Oklahoman by Caleb, if he loved Caleb at 1 overall everybody would lose to Caleb. I just dont understand where is the real knock on Spencer that was a complete word salad to say absolutely nothing.

      Manning went 21-3 in the SEC his Sophomore to Senior years. They were pretty great.

      @rawkurface okay I guess your right, maybe because I am a Florida fan I wasn't to impressed with Tennessee 🤣🤣
      Winning with South Carolina in today's SEC is kinda impressive. Florida is down but Georgia Alabama at the level they are. Having A&M and Mizzou a up trending Kentucky team Tennessee is probably playing there best ball since the Tee Martin days. These are all things that wasn't really present when Manning was balling. Not trying to pile on Manning but to just give Spencer some credit what they did down there at South Carolina in the SEC. If Rick like how he spins the ball killing him for what they did at Carolina and losing his job to the likely number 1 overall pick is kinda crazy.

    Rick Spielman has catastrophically missed on every QB he's ever drafted. He finally found an aging Kirk Cousins and kicked off the Vikings financial nightmare in 2018. Spielman is the most successful NFL executive to do absolutely nothing. I'd like to think he recognizes QB talent, but he falls short with understanding football and how QB's will translate.
