The music is perfection itself. A very moving film too. Well done indeed.

The first video of yours I watched was Bristol To Bath. I now live in Downend in Bristol and that route is very familiar to me.
I lived in Midsomer Norton for 20years and the route in this video is equally familiar to me. I found it quite nostalgic. I remember spending time waiting for the level crossing in Radstock to open to traffic after a train had passed through, and ( in the 1970s ) seeing various railway bridges demolished to allow high sided vehicles to access the town of Midsomer Norton.

Thanks for the kind words. I enjoy putting these together - there are so many lines out there that I want to explore in this manner. Feel free to share.

This is astoundingly good and a huge amount of work must have gone into the making of it. I cycle part of the old trackbed every year and so am very familiar with it, in addition to having actually travelled along it on the Pines Express several times when I was a child going on holiday to Bournemouth. I am glad that viewing figures are in the thousands and it deserves many more.

Another very special memory video for me having been on one of the last 'specials' on the S&D. The way you do these is simply amazing. A very warm thank you.

Interesting to see how many field boundaries remain unchanged since 1894.

Fantastic video. Are you planning on doing any of the lost lines of Essex such as the Tollesbury to Kelvedon line, or either of the Maldon lines?.

I have vague memories of my mother taking me and my younger brother on the train from Radstock to Shepton Mallet and back again. Such a shame the network was quickly sold off. With thought it could have been financially viable to have kept the routes and considering opening it up as roadway. Dr Beeching did no favours as regards future consideration.

This is very good but you have one scene wrong . The train should be going over the 5 arches bridge after Radstock and not under it - that’s the GWR line back to Bristol that you’ve put the ghost train on

The pitfalls of editing late at night I am afraid! Will correct that in a future release
