Hi Judi, Thank you for subscribing. I know my videos aren’t that great of quality but I have fun making them and I know I’ll want to remember this remodel later in life. Our cabin is in Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. We will take all the prayers we can get.
Hi and thank you for the comment. The truth is, I do this just to document my life and don’t care if I ever make money or gain a following. I hope to look back as an old lady someday with my husband and laugh and cry about all that we went through and all the laughs we shared. I don’t have any experience in filming and don’t have nice equipment. Maybe someday….
Enjoyed your video. I retired from the AF at Hill AFB but moved to Florida-- we wished to stay in Utah. 7 grandkids in Layton and West Valley City. Keep up the good work. Are you an airline stewardess ???
Hi Robert. Thank you for the comment. Do you visit Utah very often? We love living here and will probably keep our little cabin forever. Yes I am an airline stewardess! It’s such a great job I love it so much! Where in Florida do you live?
I know this isn’t my business but I noticed the darkness around your eyes. Some people might not know that it can be a sign of kidney issues. Hope all is well
This is an absolutely beautiful location! Where is it at? I remember winters in Ohio with snowfalls like that. Been stuck in Florida since 1989. Fixing my house up that was hit by a flood in 2015. Hit by a drunk driver in 2018. I was forced in retirement after neck surgery and PT that ruined my excellent surgery, no longer the body I one had so it is taking a while to get this place finished. Can I ask that you don't use sticky traps? They suffer a lot on them. I had to remove a baby rat from one and a gecko on another one and try not to rip off their legs! I went back to snap traps for them. It kills them quickly. I am a softy I know, but I try to make it as painless as possible. We also had to bomb my house after I hadn't lived in for 6 months following surgery. We killed the roaches, fleas, spiders and anything else in here not wanted. It took 10 bombings to get rid to the fleas my one sons dogs left behind! On that long note you are doing exactly what I would like to be able to do. Find a cabin in the mountains and get out of this heat box of a state. Can't wait to see it finished.
Hello 😊. This is in Big Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake area. We love it so much and feel lucky to have found a place we could afford. It sounds like you have been through so much. I’m sorry to hear it. I told my husband I never wanted sticky traps again. They make me too sad. We only use snap traps now. We are trying our hardest to seal the cabin well enough that we don’t have to kill anything anymore. I’m happy there are people out there watching. We don’t know when it will be finished but it’s a fun project.
@@val9pal I am so happy you aren't using sticky traps anymore!! Thank you! I absolutely love what you are doing to your cabin!! I hope to find something I can afford too, but have to finish this place first! I am 63 so I want to get it done by the end of the year! Thank you for posting your video and I hope to see it to the end Valerie!
