    • @EverythingComesFromSomething
      @EverythingComesFromSomething 4 дня назад

@@edbrackeen5979 your response has nothing to do with what this commenter said. If you like the kjv that's great. But it has its faults. Please don't spread that kjvo propaganda. NIV is not my favorite but it's better than no bible. The message, stay away from it. The NLT, ESV, NASB, AMP, KJV, and NKJV are all good ones. I use them all. But not one are perfect. If you want the original you better learn paleo-Hebrew and Kione Greek and then read the original manuscripts. Except even those are copies of copies. We need to focus on the main summary of what the bible teaches, and not the details of every word, but we don't have the details of every word. If the kjv was the only true word of God then anyone who speaks a language other than English wouldn't be able to get the word of God. Then that would nullify the entire bible itself. It's all about the message of the gospel. Spread the good news. Do it in love, and let your example be a beacon of light to others.

If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

The Bible is truly a fascinating, mysterious book, full of incredible wisdom way ahead of it's time, prophesies fulfilled (some are admittedly vague, but several in unbelievable detail), by many different authors who, despite most not knowing each other, created this cohesive body of text that fits together perfectly. It holds the keys to life, God, salvation. That is why it's so popular.

You don't say Jesus or Christianity isn't true because a person does a bad job being Christ-like. None of us do a good job at being like Christ. And you don't have to refer to the pope for that either, just read the bible. There are plenty of stories of people following Jesus who failed miserably. "We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" I urge you to read the bible and pray about it, and I say that with the utmost respect and love. And this is an imperfect sinner telling you that, not someone who is self righteous. I am so glad we have a savior, and that he chose to save us when none of us deserve it. That is what Grace is. Ray,
I have learned many very helpful evangelistic tactics from watching your videos. Thank you.
I am an American evangelist, bible teacher in the Philippines and work with a former Chinese missionary, who got married to her husband, who is an American born Filipino called to be a missionary in the Philippines.
I don't read Chinese but she said they have a faithful translation and btw, Chinese are taught English and she brought many KJV bibles into China while she was there.
What version of the Bible did God use for your salvation?
God proved to me the KJV is His word and changed my life with it 40 years ago.
Please pray and ask God if he has given us his inspired, perfect, complete words in a book as he promised he would and ask God to prove it to you.
No one that uses modern versions can declare they have God's words because they are constantly revising them and looking up Greek and Hebrew for a better translation and clarification. If we have God's word, it doesn't need clarification, we need to read, study, follow and proclaim it as commanded.
God will give those (Chinese...) of other languages that are truly seeking him his words in their language if they need it, but English and the English empire ruled the world in the 1600's and is still the most used language for international trade.
God knows best and has given us his inspired, perfect, complete words in a book as he promised he would. The KJV AV.
All of the modern English perVersions have been corrupted by vatican influence. They have left out 40 plus thousand words and changed core doctrines, make God out to be a liar and omitted many whole verses and even place 1/3 of the chapter in Mark 16 in doubt.
There are too many proofs for the KJV to write here, but here is a stark example of the corruptions:
Mark 16:9-20 if we are to believe the corrupted vaticanus and siniaticus of the vatican, which puts a line of doubt regarding these verses, there would be no Christ ascension in any of the 4 gospels and Mark would be left with only 666 verses.
I know that there are plenty of scholars that, have letters by their names, that say we must go to the original languages, but remember Jesus and 11 of his disciples had no seminary education and God has set the foolish things to confound the wise.
Hebrew and Koine Greek were dead languages for more than a thousand years.
The only cure for a seminary degree is the KJV.
I am not a debater, just a bondslave of Jesus my LORD, God, Father and Saviour and hope you will be blessed in His Spirit.
May God bless and lead you as you prayerfully make request.
    P.S.
I am preparing to start doing bible teaching videos and video evangelism here in my Philippines mission field.
    Filipinos love social media.
Again, thank you for what you have taught me.

Regarding #1: I believe we see this all the time in legal testimony and other sources too.
Someone may give an 'overview' of a situation, then go into more detail regarding something they already described in their precis. There's nothing contradictory there.
    ----
Regarding #2: This one is a little bit more understandable if you only look at the surface level, considering that 'nissah' (the Hebrew word) is erroneously translated as 'tempt/tempted' in some English translations.
When something seems contradictory in the Bible, it's wise to dig into it instead of just saying "oh, contradiction" and bowing out.
Don't be afraid of doubts: rather, expose them to the light. Often, the answer ends up being quite simple, especially given that the Bible is the most scrutinized and studied book in history.

To be more specific on the suicide of Judas, he hanged himself before Jesus was crucified. Jesus rose 3 days later and an earthquake occurred. It's possible this earthquake caused the tree that Judas hung himself on to fall or it could have just been the branch broke off. The rate of decomposition over several days and extreme swelling of the abdomen due to bacterial growth, the fall (perhaps even on rocks below, Israel is a VERY rocky place) could be the possible reason his abdomen burst open.

    • @KurtisScott-vl8jf
      @KurtisScott-vl8jf 6 дней назад +1

I've not heard this earthquake possibility before, I like it.
Another perfectly logical and likely explanation comes from it taking a while for the remaining disciples to find him, and cut him down. Also allowing natural decomposition to take its toll. The average male will fall head/shoulders first because their center of gravity is upper torso. Whereas avg females are lower center of gravity. But anywho, Peter's statement especially the first part in Acts 1 is consistent with a 1st hand account like he was there. It's reasonable to assume that it was Peter and maybe the disciples who found or went looking for him. And we know they weren't doing it on Saturday, a real full schedule Sunday as well. And with all the excitement the rest of the week, it may have taken a while to go looking for him. Or realize he's missing.
It's reasonable to assume with a shame great enough to cause those actions that ol Jude did not want to be found. And it was a deal to find him.
There is also the option of Peter is speaking metaphorically in Acts 1. Saying ol Judes dove in/fell head first into this ordeal and spilled his gautz, or showed his true inner self. Which is a metaphor we still use today. I don't think that's it, but i leave it on the table until it's proven not to fit.

@Jay-rz8mz except it is friend, it was written in greek the most accurate language ever. The denominational church teaches eternal virgin and you have the ability to prove me wrong by going to these scriptures and getting the exact greek translation. Jesus had at least 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Your church knows this but a few hundred years ago a poor declares that the word of God is wrong and she's an eternal virgin. And just like peter being the rock or 1st pope both of which he refutes in his letters, its kinda hard to be pope when churches were held in houses for the 1st 300yrs. All denominations are full of apostate teachings and still are like now your pope teaches all religions will be saved and worshiping mother earth is okay. Friend if you read your Bible Jesus warned about this when He said get out of her My people. I can verify this because I've escaped that cult. Jesus tells you all you have to do to be saved is believe in Him and you will be saved then He will bless you with His Holy Spirit not some ritual with a priest. Gods word is truth and if you read it daily you are cleansed just like He said. Read 1john1:9 for the truth about confession to God for forgiveness not from man. I pray all who are under this spell of the evil one will see the deception of the denominational church. God bless you friend

Out of ❤ I say this in respect 🫡 to y’all…
It is unnecessary to repent of your sins to be saved. Lord Jesus told us to just believe in Him in John 3:16 to be saved. And how are people not saved? You can read John 3:18. Those who don’t simply believe will be condemned. John 3:16-18 never once stated that we are saved by repenting of our sins. In Ephesians chapter 3, God tells us that we are saved by believing in Him only. Many church goers who believe in repent of your sins to be saved clearly diminishes and devalues Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for our sins. Is it God’s sacrifice or yours that is counted righteous? Does Jesus Christ saves or those who thinks by repenting of their sins? Is it God who is holy or those church goers who keeps repenting of their sins? Is it God who saves or those who keeps repenting of their sins? Is it God who knows all of our daily sins or the church goers? Please consider these questions and see where you stand as God’s disciples or not. Thank you 👍✌🏿

Little is known about the life and death of Papias (c. AD 60-130) other than he was the bishop of Hierapolis in Asia Minor (now modern Turkey), and he recorded details regarding Jesus and the apostles in five books entitled Exposition of the Sayings of the Lord. Unfortunately, Papias’s books are now lost except for some excerpts found in the second- and third-century writings of Eusebius of Caesarea and Irenaeus of Lyons.
Papias of Hierapolis wrote for the stated purpose of presenting an accurate record of the teaching and works of the apostles, as reported to him by “John the Elder.” Irenaeus assumes this to be the Apostle John, while Eusebius assumes Papias is speaking of a lesser-known John.
Papias also states that Judas Iscariot did not die from the actual hanging but from his fall when he was cut down and burst open upon hitting the ground. In this way Papias harmonizes Matthew 27:5 and Acts 1:8.

The problem is atheism for one, but no reverence or desire to search and understand God's word. Hell is never preached today and it needs to be..God's coming judgement and wrath are certain and people need to understand the state of their souls. If you study scripture and the doctrine of hell , eschatology, you will understand how horrific and terrifying it is. Imagine forever, you probably can't. Neither can I. None of us measly human beings can ultimately grasp that concept. I can hardly ponder the next few years or even 20 years. That's a long time. Now imagine you being tormented in flames and outer darkness all alone in solitude confinement. You will be going crazy in your own mind within seconds with nobody to talk to, for eternity......And there is no getting out at this point. You've had your entire life to come to Christ and receive His gift of salvation and forgiveness of your sins. Now you are separated from the loving , just God FOREVER! These woke kids (and adults) need to wake up and use their brains..The problem is a heart issue instead of an intellectual head issue. Exodus 20:8-11
[8] “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. [9] Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, [10] but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. [11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
Psalm 37 : 7 - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
To those whose hearts strayed from Him, God said they would never enjoy His rest (Psalm 95:7-11).
But, again, the people failed to learn that resting in the Lord meant surrendering wholly to the Lord in righteous living: “The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever” (Isaiah 32:17).
In the New Testament, the book of Hebrews declares the good news that those who believe in Jesus Christ can enter His rest: “God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. For this good news-that God has prepared this rest-has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. For only we who believe can enter his rest” (Hebrews 4:1-3).
We can either waste our time worrying or trust in the Lord to take care of us. Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).
In the meantime, we can rest in the Lord by taking everything-all our burdens, problems, and anxieties-to Him in prayer. We can tell God what we need even as we remember and thank Him for all that He has done for us already. As we do this-as we abide in Jesus Christ and God’s presence-He promises to pour into us a supernatural, incomprehensible peace to guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:6-7).
So the commandment has nothing to do with what do you worship or go to church, (we should worship God everyday and we ourselves are Temples for the Holy spirit so everywhere we are can be a place of worship and a place of rest) .
The commandment actually means to rest from our own efforts and worries and instead to rest IN God that he takes care of us. We are to give him our worries and to trust in him every day not just Saturday. So we don’t rest only Saturday in the Lord but we Rest daily in the Lord and trust in him.
Not only that but ALL believers who have been born again of the Spirit (John 3) we go from death to life and are no longer under the law but instead under Grace and there is No condemnation in Christ. But that does Not give us a license to sin, instead we are to be continually disciples of Christ walk in his New commandment he gave.
      John 13:34-35
[34] A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. [35] By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
So no longer are we under the 10 commandments. But instead we are Under Grace and Love. But guess what Love does? It keeps the 10 commandments and more.
In conclusion the commandment for the sabbath is to rest in the Lord. Which all born again believers rest in the Lord daily from their own efforts but instead are led by the Holy Spirit and Not just on the sabbath. For a born again believer every day is Holy because we have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us. Christ in us the hope of Glory. Jesus fulfilled all things and brings us out from under the law into Grace and love.

@davidademola3770 Jesus is our Sabbath? Have you though about what does that mean in practical terms?
How would you rest in Christ? Could it be that God does not change and what Jesus says is no different than what has been already said before? Only that this time Jesus is saying - I am the Lord of the Sabbath - In other words I am God - the Creator.
Col 1:16: "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"
The day that was appointed for us to spend with God is set by Him, not by us.
The point of the Sabbath is not only to not work. It has always been about relationship, you spend time with the one you love. So you put away all your weekly works and worries and spend time with God.
Mar 2:27-28: "And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath." - The word "man" here is "Anthropos" meaning human kind, not only Jews.
So the Sabbath was made for man kind to remember the relationship we used to have with God before the fall. And God set this time for us which is a sign that we acknowledge that He is our creator. It is not random thing that the commandment starts with "Remember.."
      The paralel verse is in:
Ezek 20:11-12: "And I gave them my statutes, and showed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them." - Here again "man" is "Adam" meaning, person, individual or human kind, not only Jews.
Imagine you have a date with a girl that you are madly in love and she says come meet me Wednesday at such and such place. Instead of going Wednesday you decide to go Sunday. And when she calls to ask: "What happen to you? Why didn't you come?" You say well I decided to go Friday instead, besides... How good do you think your relationship with her will go? Not very good I suspect..
So the Sabbath has and will always be the 7-th day of the week, and not the first. This week for change, meet God when He said.

You have been deceived. There are no errors in the KJB. You're just adding to the spiritual attack on God's word. Don't you ever wonder why there are no attacks on any other 'versions'?? Satan wants the true word of God to be tainted.

@jimdrummer816 but God didn't create it. It is a complilation of many ancient texts for the majority of anonymous sources. Most of which came decades of not centuries after the Jesus character died

@MacsRemmacs-f2r Then you should know that God has the power to preserve His word. His Bible is Holy Spirit inspired using men (of course) to pen the words. Men cannot prophecy with 100 percent accuracy events 100's and even 1000's of years before they happened, providing it's God's word. Have a nice night.

I’m all about the gospel, but the account of Judas’ death still doesn’t make sense to me. You don’t say someone fell headlong, a.k.a. faceplanted, when his body is decomposed. I think that in that stage, Judas would have had bigger issues than faceplanting. Like having a stretched out neck for instance.

The thing about Judas falling headlong is not describe his death but his fall from his POSITION of Grace and the Apostleship.

Ignorance and being blinded by the devil is the only reason people think there is contradictions in the Bible.
“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

The word “evil” is better translated “calamity:”. Secondly, Yahweh in the OT is satan. So in that context, satan does create evil.
