Every 1 yard = $100,000 for my players. This madden 24 video I use my custom create a team in madden franchise mode. I build a coaching career mode where we use a chaos wheel to decide our challenge for each game. We go for one play 99 yard touchdowns in madden 24.

It's almost like the game doesn't expect you to run punt block on every play, so it doesn't know what to do.

It still shows you how broken Madden is. The AI should have some kind of recognition where if you try to run a certain type of play over and over, it punishes you.
@@danielbrown001Not every coaching staff knows how to adjust. Couple years ago when the Dolphins played the Ravens , we blitz Lamar on the same play about 35 times
Man, the punt block defense brings back memories. Back in Madden 04 I actually did a season where I only used Punt Defense for my defensive scheme. I would use the returner as a blitzer. That WR ended the season with 36 sacks.

Choice Specs/Band/Scarf: one play only on offense/defense but you choose which play you'll run for the rest of the drive at the start (so if you choose, say, Read Option as your 1st play of the drive, you have to run Read Option until you score, decide to punt, or turn the ball over, same on defense)
Field goal block is also pretty OP. It messes with the computer since you’re just rushing all 11 dudes at the quarterback

Should add a option to the wheel: everyone gets the same overall for 1 game. You can add everyone’s number to a wheel to choose

Every INT or lost fumble = -10 overall
Every TD scored = +10 overall (on passing TDs, split 50/50 so +5 to the QB and +5 to the player who caught it)
Every punt block sack = +3 overall for the player who sacked the QB
Every punt block TD allowed = -1 speed and -1 acceleration from Lonnie Bacon

I feel like the punt block was accurate for Kyler. He would never see the slot wr when 3 guys a foot taller than him are in his face
I used to run Punt Block/Return in one of the old NFL games for the Genesis because it was legitimately the best defense to use. 90% of the time you'd get a sack or force a turnover and you'd only get burned by the CPU on rare occasions.
It’s like an adapted ‘85 Bears 46 D. Only instead of a power hitting box safety you put a lurking KR.
Obviously it’s still crazy unrealistic since at least one guy is always open and typically 2 are unless they’re used for extra block protection. But yeah the OL has no idea how to respond.
Best vid ever. I used to think it was silly that fake punt worked 100% of the time on blitz 2004 (or whichever one wasn't about injuries). I don't think it was that crazy anymore.
Linemen only. Even the QB, even the Kicker, even the goddang Fullback are Offensive Linemen.

Madden has always been like that: Pass rush is king, so any formation with many blitzers (or punt blockers) will actually do fine. Sure, you give up the occasional big play, but it's kinda valid.
This is exactly how the chaos wheel is supposed to work out

For the chaos wheel you should do position swaps for a group. Like WR's are CB's and vice versa or OG's DT's.

Wheel ideas
1: play a game using only 2nd and 3rd stringers
2: use a converted kicker for 2 games (use a position wheel to choose what position hes converted from)
3: can only use RPO and option plays for 1 game
4: have to run fake punts and kicks for every punting/kicking situation for a game
5: can only throw to 1 person all game (use a wheel to decide between WR1, WR2, Slot WR, TE and RB)
Chaos wheel suggestion - Drewski special: For every passing TD, you have to throw an INT.
Less insane option - Triple Options only.

I run punt block or FG block on a ton of Ultimate team challenges just because of the AI stupidity… sometimes it works spectacularly or sometimes it fails amazingly
