Update Ricken Backer Bass for Monterrey.
Lido I’ll say this forever, you’re one of my biggest heroes
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Lido is my no. 1. fav producer, so Peder, I hope you know that your art inspires MANY of us, and you are GREATLY appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️
he thing about lido is that he could show you every technique he uses but noone can come close.. his songwriting is so incredible that it literally does not matter what samples or plugins he's used. i would love to see the project for 'university' but at the end of the day it's the song writing is what makes it so incredible
This is great to see. I remember Lido(Lido) posting tracks to a Norwegian hiphop forum when he was 14. Already damn talented then
I'm a huge fan of Lido, love all of his work, so this high quality behind the scenes peek is much appreciated!
It's our pleasure, really 🙌
real fans been following since money
Maybe even before that. His remixes were popping before Money
You mean since that S-Type - Billboard (Lido Remix)
real fans been following since he was called LidoLido and not Lido
Real fans remember him as Trippy Turtle 🐢
Lido has been a force to be reckoned with for a while. Such a talented producer
thanks for making this video !! I want to watch more of Lido
One of my idols. Everyone should check out his album PEDER
While I’m glad he’s getting the shine he deserves as a producer I’m here to say that I love HIS records the best! I’m STILL trying to learn his old style of chopping gospel chords & rhythms ! I’d pay for a class & I have
love his calm way to explain everything and then even turn this retro machnies preset that sound... lets say ugly to me at first into these cool chords
Wow!! Seeing this side of Lido is such a gift to us all. Truly a pioneer of Electronic music. Thank you for this video!!
He’s so talented, remember bumping into his music back in 2014, such a legend❤️🙌🏾
one of the most underrated producers. his work with Jaden is unbelievable.
Didn't know Lido or his work but it's really useful to see how a pro uses Retro Machines, Battery etc. It's given me a few ideas to get going with!
Yes I Agree!! Native Instruments changed my whole Producer life ❤
His work with JoJo is amazing!!
love the NI stuff... and im a little bit proud that this is a German company :strong: im a ultimate owner and using kontrol S88 and Maschine MK... love it..
Lido is an very sympathic guy... high skills and a hand of fire for sounds, beats and arrangements. Chapeau... and you all: stay healthy... greetings from cologne/germany
Good stuff NI!!!!!!! Yall rock
i cant believe we got this Lido is one my biggest inspirations from lidolido days
We've got you covered 💪
Glad to find your music bro
I remember this kid back in the day when he used to rap, glad to se his still doing music!
Battery is one of the greatest plugins ever made. Awesome watching an artist in their workflow and deconstructing their creative process. Thanks NI
Let's hope they release a succesor soon
@@josealbertoum5149 I'm more excited about a Massive X 2.0 update
I dig his style. Very inspiring.
Wow. I'll point the obvious, this guy is really good. Very inspiring.
Love this one
The Superspeed EP with canblaster is still one of my favorites to this day.
lido is such a sleeper legend in the music industry, hope to work with him one day
I still listen to those remixes everyday
Really cool stuff! This dude legit has my same setup.. Apollo x4, pmc twotwo 6, etc. Cool to see
Awesome video. Been saying the longest that lido is the most talented/versatile producer in music
Thank you ! Inspiring
For a Norwegian he sure sounds American, cool beats 😎
he sounds too american, putting the word "like" before every word, like they all do, makes me cringe.
@@mallorca1guy don’t be that guy
@@nova-wav I try not to be that guy... I'm apologize...
@@nova-wav he got a point tho, speaking truths
@@mallorca1guy Damnnit to hell... once i read this comment, it was all i could focus on. I made it a drinkging gameeq ehgh
So dopeLet's go!
More like this 🙌🙌
Okay 🤓
Hi from Norway!!
Lido is the man!
One of my favorite music producers of the new generation. So glad the giant Teddy Riley acknowledge him.
I love this Lido's philosophy he got from his Mom on music, IO = OI. Brilliant!
Priceless heritage ✨
jesus - that chop was on point holy shit
Insightful
LEGEND
Dope 👌
Crazy thing is I discovered him as an artist before I ever knew he produced for such high profile people
Trippy trippy
Awesome
Always thought retro synths can still compete sound wise. Heck yeah Lido
lido the 🐐
cool to see how Lido uses battery and produce.. producing newbie here :D and this is cool
The bass Sound Jaco Bass is pronounced Jocko it is inspired by bass legend Jaco Pastorious, one of the greatest men to ever touch an electric bass!
came here to say this.
I think lido definitely knows who that is too!
Remember his from another country so his pronunciation may be different
@@mattyjmogul very true but that doesn’t change the correct pronunciation of Jaco Pastorius’ name 😊
@@wildbird78 Facts...I tried..lol
A fellow Cubase user, mucho respect 👍🏼
Super cool, i love using NI
Wish my hands were floating on the keyboard like that ahahahha
It's just a practice thing 🙌
@@NativeInstruments I need to learn more music theory first ahahhaha
I LOVE YOU is always a banger.
good shit yo
Heyo! Appreciate this alot! But this reminds me of if we could get an opportunity to customize the light guide on the Komplete Keyboards in Plugins like Battery or for any other VST so they will change when we open the vst? Or to put a color on the battery "pads" which will automatically appear on the keyboard? Would be sick as heell i think the light guide doesnt really reaches his potential in our usage yet. Love from germany
Listen to the song “Liar” by Lido. It’s sonically one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard.
Cubase - is featured in this video as well somehow... good ! :D
ALMOST clicked out, GLAD i didn't, I wouldn't missed some FAT 💎💎s
Came from Peder's Instagram story
damn, i got 2 minutes in before realizing its just a big Native Instruments ad.
Got Dilla in the background. automatic props.
with the cymbals.. my head was like bingbong
I like how he literally mentioned Earthgang as one of the artists/groups he's produced for, and ya'll STILL left their name out of the description purely bc of clickbait.
Very inspiring video! Anyone know what DAW he's using?
He's using Cubase 🖥
what’s his mouse touch pad thingy?
Shout the homie went in on this one
ya'll need to update Battery and make it look more like the new Guitar Rig 6. It's looking oudated
what kind of monitors are those?
From what I can see in the video, they look like they might be PMC monitors. I’m unsure which exact model though.
Yes, there's no need to go deep on sounds that are already tweaked out to the max. Small tweaks make it happen when that's the case.
Gutta backer!
Oliver is everywhere
What instrument and equipment can u recommend me for producing?
A good way to get into production is to get our free Komplete Start production suite, a solid bunch of tools to help you start the journey: bit.ly/3v4hi5t 🔍
What kind of computer are you using?
@@RobCartwright I'm looking for a windows based computer to start producing. How ever I dont know which type is a good Choice.
So cool video
Calling them ghost producers is a bit of a stretch, since almost 100% of the time their credit is on the record, as well as royalty split, production fee and sometimes, more often than not in the case of star producers, a master rights percentage
If you're referring to Lido, then he's not a ghost producer. He's credited on everything he works on. Also he's had quite a following for a long time. As a matter of fact, his immense talent is what got him the attention online which led to working in the industry
"Big artists" are often just singers/performers. A lot of them don't write anything, they're simply the face of a team of people who worked on a song. I don't say this to discredit an artist's talent, but as someone who supported myself as a touring and session musician for nearly 15 years, it was surprising to see how many artists didn't even touch a song until they came in to record vocals.
@@RobCartwright yep
But Groove Agent on Cubase do the exactly things you are doing with battery
I like that he calls a preset that’s clearly a reference to legendary bassist Jaco Pastorius as “Jake-O” 😆😆😆
I was tryna love you but we FALLIN DOWN
Sorry bud but battery is about 20 years old and ableton has had it as a stock plugin called Drum Rack for about the same time….
Jayco Bass lol
It sounds like the Neptunes
Thank you so much for this, i’ve been working on my music. Just tried out to make my own song. It is my first song and it’s not that good, these videos help a lot though. My song is on my channel if you want to check it out!
i think st. mens semitones not steps
lidogotpix
Lmao i have played futsal with this guy backstage on a shitty music festival like forever ago
🥱
I like turtles 🤭
You lost me when you said Jayco Bass. Talking about listening to music, try weather report with this awesome bass player Jaco Pastorius. Hello!
Pay any producer the right amount and he will promote anything. I'm quite sure he never uses these products in his real productions.
He literally proves you wrong right in the video though? That synth is undeniably the synth that's in "Murder"... and those strings are definitely the ones in the Drowning remix...
