What do you think of the intro?
to much on the lsd side
It was interesting, not bad imho at all.
I'm sorry for being blunt, but it looks like something from 1995, the infancy of chroma keying. It doesn't look professional. It's sad, because the tutorial itself is great, and the course developer is doing an excellent job.
@@j.lindback Why so serious? It looks like shit, so what. Does it matter? No.
To be honest, we definitely made this intro purposely cheesy.
I have no idea what she's talking about but I know for sure that she's talented and has done a great job with the deconstruction.
She’s not talented you dumbass is audio engineering and frequency programming
@@deathnova9315 bitch stfu she is talented. She's an amazing vocalist, she's super talented with that alone. She also does the vocal production on her songs. She's a hella talented girl. Keep ya mouth shut and quit hating on great women who you'll never be as successful or talented as
@@deathnova9315 Stop being insecure
@@deathnova9315 bruh can YOU do it?
@@RyanlovesTh nobody’s insecure you dumb shit 😭💀 she has no talent lmfao
She makes it so simple😂
I literally didn't understand half of what she did, but that was IMPRESSIVE, just Wow!
i'm so proud of myself that i understand what shes saying omg yall
Me too
wanna work on a song?;) haha
@@izzqueve8472 oh for sure!
@@holoday5555 dm me @izahquevedo 😁
@@izzqueve8472 i didddd
It was cool to learn why this song elicits certain emotions based on the key, chords, etc. Thanks!
Absolutely brilliant. Hats off to Risa T for such a good deconstruction. Thank you!
i admire this woman sm omg i wanna be like her one day
do it
this is the most underrated breakdown I've ever seen I learned that sub bass notes sound better slightly understated and that last note that only hits in the sub did so much more than I though it would , the 2 variations of major minor combinations combined with Risa T connecting it to the theme of the song is so inspiring. Thank you so much that was so professional and I literally couldn't take my eyes off the screen ahaha
I would love to hear someone break down the melody / harmonics / composition of the song. Idk I find it so impressive how there is a trap-upbeat part with such belty chorus melodies. I feel it takes a lot of creativity to come up with a composition like that
Absolutely love the chorus on this track.
Very cool! Max and ILYA made it in Pro Tools and yet you got pretty damn close to the original. Great work! Great ear!
i dont like Apple but honestly LogicPro look fun to create
Logic Pro is my go to DAW
I hate Apple hardware bullshit, but the software-side is *stellar* IMHO. Both very intuitive and extremely deep. I used Logic Pro X and Final Cut Pro X professionally and it's hard to come back to others after that user experience.
But the OS isn't the best and the hardware bullshit keeps going with the M1s drive early failures... shame.
Best of the best is a desktop PC that you can transform into an Hackintosh by installing Mac OS on half your drive but get the other half for gaming :P
Just need 3 thousands bucks lol
@@jas_bataille i ban Apple for life :o my first desktop was a Apple (Jail), i just had a magnetophone, and boring software,( i was little) i couldnt bought anything, my parents losed money, so since i stop apple for life, and when i had a windows, its was like a OpenWorld no limit. now i use StudioOne, Maschine,
23:24 (the finished product)
Holy cow this is friggen amazing, very minimal difference to the actual song imo
I absolutely love everything about this video....absolutely perfect to learn from (at least for my style of learning). I can go investigate various bits further and you tied everything back in context. I haven’t read into your background yet but this video almost feels like a school project where you need to showcase your learning and explain each element. If so, your course is something I’d love to take. Subscribing for sure.
The cleanest I’ve ever seen a breakdown put together!!! Brava!👌🤩😍 it’s not all over the place and complicated and trying to mix it. Which makes my head hurt.
This was pretty good, thanks for the masterclass, pop doesn't seem to complicated, but choice of sounds and effects play a role. Thanks for your video.
Fantastic job, thank you very much for sharing. Pretty simple, but still so clever. This is what makes a perfect pop song. My track of the year 2018!
5 minutes in and already learned several new work flow ideas. THANK YOU! Excellent quality by the instructor. edit: it would be helpful to have the instrument information panel open as you work so we could pause and see whether whether you're using DMD or some other plug-in. Thanks!
This was excellent and really gave good insight in to what goes in to pop record
This is amazing! So insightful, learnt a lot!
That was really helpful!!!
I am so thankful for this insight with the cut-off option to make a lasting one-note sound so much more full and use it as a riser. Super nice. Generally so amazed to see a song that I find beautifully complex in some ways to be built in such a step by step way. And I think it also highlights how much soul Ariana brings to the instrumentals to make it an actual rich, and flowing song.
Oh my G! You are so good! I get so jealous of how easily you handle Logic!!! Be my teacher!!!!
Great work! Big up Risa T
The chords are saying, this is a single voice. It does this by keeping the chord relationship as it plays a melody to become a linked chord melody. Brilliant reconstruction! :)
Omg she's so talented❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is my fave Ariana single of all time and I'm so happy to see it come to life from scratch, amazing work! 🤩🤩
Wow. Impressive knowledge and listening ability.
My Lord thanks I found this video. Learnt so much. Very broad knowledge and impeccable delivery with intentions behind mentioned clearly ❤❤❤
We really appreciate the feedback. Thank you!
I was BLOWN away at this! So well executed, such confidence and clarity in explanation! This sounded incredible!
Excellent content, was researching to find out more about the chord progression and I ended up here. Easy to play on bass. Thanks!!
Ahhhhhh so good!!!
definitely winner of "trust the process"
Great work! Thank you :)
Amazing breakdown miss 🎧🙏 another gem of a Max Martin production...
YOU NAILED THIS
OMG! That’s so cool!
Very informative! Great video.
This is so useful!
You made it look so easy 😩😩❤️
How does this channel have so many subs, but like no views
like the most viewed video only had half a mil
Y'ALL DESERVE MORE (:
That means those numbers of subs are not real
AllodsJinjer or it can also mean that they used to do tell people to sub for a chance to win many only subbed for that reason and never came back to the channel
i am in awe.. wow
Thanks for watching
This was most righteous Risa!! Excellent!
Perfect!
This was AWESOME!!!
Nice work, thanks for sharing
Excellent tutorial!
Very, very, very good. Thx!
AMAZING VIDEO
You are so awesome!!
Tremendous video; ever so good
This sounds sweet! Respect!
this is so brilliant
Great Content 🔥
HOLY CRAP WOW! That was amazing miss cutie!!!! I probably would not even notice that wasn't the real instrumental if I didn't know you did this. Very impressive! Although, I would call it a REconstruction.
I just came here from a Bille Eillish Ocean Eyes deconstruction and I'm thinking maybe less is more and now after this video, I'm thinking more is more.
Anyway, this was really great.
Ski... is that you 🤣 great vid and remake, thanks
Excellent. So simple yet so effective, however an A maj in an A minor key.......who'd have thought it? Great presentation too. `Thanks.
yo that was actually so good D:
Thank You
this video is amazing
Unreal good!
Nice video!
This is very awesome.
Very talented
This was one of her most unique songs she has ever released.
OMG... congrats!
nice job
amazing
I ADORE this content. Plz more. love it. so well done. will recommend to friends learning prod
Awesome deconstruction!! Such a great track and great job putting this together!
Wow nice.
OMG!!!🖤🖤🖤
Very Very Good
Really good
Awesome
Oh by the way, didn't they use a sample in the original for the "garage beat". I always thought it's Hot Pants by Bobby Bird!?
How do you make these kind of chords?
Where’s Ski? And all the amazing FFL with JC?? Those vids helped get me over the hump with some stuff I couldn’t just quite get thru without some tutorials. (The technical stuff about mixing and mastering)
Thanks for the info 1st class and my 1st class
shes so cute
Wait what program is this someone help
Carino.
This isn't a deconstruction. It's a reconstruction.
🔥🔥🔥
What does swing do?
pls post the full midi song
This should be a logic tutorial
I’d die if you did Positions. That would be so cool!
I caught a blip about Alchemy awhile back.... something about a default sluggish attack time variable of +/- 0.1. Slick automation insight at 21:50. I like how you just programmed a min and max parameter for yourself with just a couple of adjustments. Way to surprise us with the artists acapella at the end. transcripts plz.
What happened to the Ableton vids?
Ableton is shit
Get pro tools
As someone who takes music theory this was satisfying
Oh my God
😮
Just wow 👁️👄👁️
A&W by Lana Del Rey next pls!
Which software do you use?
logic pro x
Does anyone think it sounded better at 10:45 before she fixed it again at 10:57. It just sounded more human before and after it sounded robot like, it was too perfect I could hear the three keys as much separate
She. Knows. WHAT'S. UP.
🥰👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤩
How do you manage not to get this video being flagged? I know it goes under the fair use regulations but I know so many people, having their videos flagged even if they just happen to have the car radio on in the background for a few seconds. Rick Beato has a video on this problem and how annoying it is.
They buy licenses for education purposes maybe
It has license
reyalen amilac rail how do you know?
@@oledahl. , see description
reyalen amilac rail I did before commenting the first time. And PB music school isn’t one of them. Although this is not my field of expertise I work as an a&r for universal Scandinavia, so I know a thing or two more than you obviously. This is just standard publishing references. And now I see that they did it wrong too because it’s filed as instrumental, while the video was obviously vocals too. But let me be clear here: Point B. hasn't done anything wrong by using it since it normally goes under the fair use harbour regulations. Still most people who does the same gets their video flagged because it’s just a computer reading codes when you upload the video. To advanced to understand with your very limited English knowledge. (ref. IT has a license). My English is also far from perfect but good enough to manage international work.
