The perfect cover for a narcisistic psycopath. He thought he could talk about these murders without anyone being suspicious since as a criminal justice student one would expect him to be highly passionate about this type of case...
Once they announced they would be cleaning the house I knew they had a suspect. And the Chief Fry was smiling during the last interwiev and was so calm. But a serial killer? This never crossed my mind. There must be a connection to the dead students.
If this is the guy, then let this be a warning to everyone. He looks like a relatively normal guy. Wolf in sheep's clothing. What's interesting is his field of study. If he is a serial killer then he has planned for how to get away with murders by trying to study the field. Also, he has probably traveled to and from his home in the Poconos to Washington State, where he went to school, many times. I hope they look into the unsolved murders along that path.
I'm very interested in how they solved this case. I think digital forensics played a role. For example, they found the suspicious car through video. They could then trace the car to a certain area through traffic cameras located throughout the city and beyond. Perhaps a profile then emerged through his social media posts or online activities. And then of course cell phone data and more Ring type video that may have been submitted. It would be interesting how much they needed before they needed a warrant for a search of his property, belongings, DNA, etc. Lots to breakdown.
I wonder how the hate mobs feel now about having harassed their family and friends who are grieving and other random people with no evidence of anything.
Likely the motive was hubris or pride in thinking that he could pull off the perfect murder based on his extensive knowledge and education. I'm curious to know what were evidence that eventually led to him. Bet he overlooked those.
I swear when men complain about anything with women it makes me nauseous. Considering the absolute horrors men commit against women, children and even other men, they have ZERO room to whine about women being picky or naggy or fkn anything. Women are angels compared to men. That's a FACT.

Oh, it WILL be four. By popular demand.
Imagine being a member of his family.....how chilling is that...will be interesting to hear more about him...this case has been so unreal. Good job done by all involved while under so much pressure.
I’m not. I want him out to death quickly. No books no interviews
He's a JEW
Where did you read that he did it?
My fiance was murdered and it was a cold case for 10 yrs his ex partner on the highway patrol hired a hitman 1989. So glad they caught him. God Bless LE and the families.
His face looks like the person i imagined
You can see the crazy in his eyes
His face fits with what he did. You can't look at him and be surprised
Majority of Crimes like this are committed by white people, same with school shootings unfortunately.
I just said that🤦🏽♀️
Was thinking the same. I feel like other killers have similar faces
I agree. I would not want to run into him on a dark night, that's for sure.
As expected, everyone is now cheerleading police & law enforcement after they have done nothing but trash talk and dump all over them for 2 months. Pathetic.
That’s how it is now, go cry about it
Yeah, that was me. I just thought they should have moved quicker. And, they all looked so goofy when they talked on TV. Thought they were from Mayberry or something.
I think we are about to find out that the police has assembled a very strong case. We'll know a bit more after the press conference this afternoon. I was gonna take a nap, but not now.
That's what I'm saying like all the sudden they got a killer after shitting in this case calling it a cold case 🤦🏾♀️
How do u know the ppl cheering the cops are the same people who trashed them?
Great job Law Enforcement. Super super professional! My heart goes out to the kids & thier loved ones! Bless you All.
For those of you not from this area Pullman WA WSU is less than 10 miles from Moscow
Thank you that's helpful ❤️
I was wondering that too
Maybe it was a game for him as a phd student in criminology. Maybe thought his ultimate test was pulling something like this off. I think this is why LE were so tight-lipped, they knew he was savvy. All conjecture of course, will be interesting to see how this evolves.
Fully agree. Chilling!
Not even 17 minutes old and you already resort to speculation you people amaze me
I believe this 100%
Well he may very well pay for this with his life as Idaho has the death penalty
He was creepy I read that he was on Reddit like doing some sort of survey trying to get insight on the killings I think the questions I seen were like so weird .
Be interested to hear what the motive was.
info will probably leak out after the press conference today. they must have his dna if they arrested him cuz if they dont oh boy what concrete evidence do they have. if this guy gets good defense lawyers he could walk if the state doesnt have good solid proof
@@OpeningYugioh as I understand it the FBI picked him up. Despite how inept and political they’ve been over the last few years Im confident they’d need a solid case or at least very damning evidence to hook him up.
Me from the UK, this story is shocking, gruesome, how can a Human being be so filled with so much rage, anger, evil, to kill 4 people.
I'm so glad to see some headway made before the new year. Maybe this will give the families a little bit if relief until the while truth comes together. Good work detectives!!🙌🙌🙏
Another channel said that There’s nationwide investigation on this done quietly which means they thought through this well before arresting him. Pretty sure he is involved.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS WORLD ANYMORE!!! GOD, PLEASE HELP US!!! BE WITH THE FAMILIES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
Death penalty if he is the one who killed those 4 students. Justice for the victims
Yes
Too quick, too painless.
I support the DP, but he will suffer much worse in prison. And he damn sure needs to suffer.
What a horrible world.
Thank God!! They found this man.
Innocent till proven guilty
Yes thank the Lord.
FYI... Apparently this person who was arrested is a grad student at Washington State University just a few miles away across the Idaho border in Pullman Washington. Those two colleges actually party together... I am a U of I alumni.
I was on holiday in New York after this happened was so heartbreaking ...I'm home now in 🏴 Wales UK and been keeping updated ...so glad they have arrested someone x
WOW.... everybody can say what they want about cops but being a detective that is a true dedication that must be really hard finding people like this
Thankyou my Dad was one for well over 20 years, it takes a toll!
Waiting to hear the motive because a PHD criminology student like what drove you to kill these young students ? World is crazy 😔 praying for the families
He's the loopholes hunter kinds, he's not in the study to contribute to the system, he's in it for a very wrong reason: to exploit the system for self-serving. There are quite number of phd students like that. It's quite comfortable clinging to schools to get thru to your career, coz the industries recycle much faster and harsher.
What drove him was probably thinking that he was so smart that he could get away with it.
I was going to say he was probably a criminology student so that he would learn how crimes are discovered and thus would be able to cover his tracks. Thank God he was an arrogant prick and they caught him.
@@0230Raveena yes because I seen he was on Reddit doing and anonymous survey for understanding why ppl commit crimes I think or something like that and one of the question he posted was . How did you locate your victim or target ? And Before leaving was there anything you did ? Like whattttttt
@@0230Raveena not that simple. He's a psychopath to begin with, for not being able to understand this is NOT A GAME! But there must be more reasons to why he picked the victims, for sure it wasnt random. Some rumor said his sister lived next to the girls' apt. Let's wait and see.
Now it’s time for the tiktoker who falsely accused a professor of committing the murders to face the lawsuit
Good thing they didn't let the families know they had this guy on the radar. The Goncalves clan would have for sure put it on blast. I am thankful they have someone in custody. Now let's see why he did this.
For real though. I’m shocked they didn’t manage to botch the entire investigation with what the hell they were doing/saying.
He was working on a PHD in criminology ... he put up the ad seven months ago looking for research subjects to understand the criminal mind ...
I wonder how you people would act if one of your family members were butchered, you’d want answers.
Why he did this???? Are you stupid?
They have to prove he is guilty first!!
Absolutely agree. Any kernel of info they got, they ran directly to the press.
He looks like he doesn't care at all. Oh this trial is going to be absolutely fascinating
I have so much respect and high regard for the Idaho police force and investigators. What profound speeches they all have made, full of love, care and concern, they have really cared 100% from the very beginning. What a great and compassionate team and community. I am proud of you, Moscow police, and thank you.
Well done police enforcement, FBI and everyone involved in the investigation!!!
I think they got him!
FBI? 🤡 🤡 🤡
@@sixxmickntom6719 your a 🤡 if you think the FBI wasn’t involved in finding him
@@sixxmickntom6719 yes, the FBI was involved. Stay in the circus where you'll be appreciated. 🤡
How about waiting until he's found guilty?
Dudes right out of central casting
?
Exactly!
Yes, with the cold stare and smirk in this photo he could play a psycho killer on a Netflix series
Yeah, he's guilty for sure even though that hasn't been proven.
Norman Bates, anyone?
This is great news! I had confidence that this person would be found. The fact that they took their time only reflected the meticulous work that had to be done. A mistake cannot be made or the murderer will go free!
What a relief for the families. Prayers to these families.
EXACTLY
That's how you solve a case, make the murder think that you have no idea who did it, but work silently in the background.
No plea deal please - if he is guilty death penalty
Four beautiful lives have been lost, so why should this murder get to spend the rest of his life in a prison cell courtesy of the taxpayers.
I don't want to hear that he had or have mental health issues - it does not interest me and will not bring these young adult back.

A bittersweet celebration 😔😔
I’m so happy they caught this guy! My son and his family moved to eastern Idaho from Seattle last March, I have teenage grandkids and I’ve been praying for an arrest. I hope the families feel some relief. My thoughts and prayers to all that knew the victims.
Seattle is not a safe place anymore. I’m sure Boise is safer.
Never been to Idaho..I honestly forgot it borders Oregon 🤭... always thought it was next to Minnesota 🙈
PHD in criminology........why? To try and get away with QUADRUPLE murder!
Good point
Wow that was unexpected especially in Scranton Pennsylvania 😳
That’s a guy that looks like got rejected by society.
Not really he has a PhD in criminology, he looks normal, which is why it's scary.
Sorry you’re wrong here. This is different from the mass-shooting cases we’ve had recently. This is a complete psychopath who did this for a thrill. You got the wrong case.
Takes 1 to know 1
People like this are EVERYWHERE, there are people reading the comments right now who have thoughts of doing stuff like this and are just living their everyday life.... waiting.......
Great job to the law enforcement ❤🇨🇦
Scary THIS guy was going to be in the criminal justice system as a career if he wasn't caught! Thank God he isn't nearly as smart as he THINKS he is.
Go outside 🐑
His eyes tell me he definitely killed them
I thought I was the only one
Phd in Criminal Justice?!?!?!? 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
The perfect cover for a narcisistic psycopath. He thought he could talk about these murders without anyone being suspicious since as a criminal justice student one would expect him to be highly passionate about this type of case...
It’s the perfect subject to study when you’re a sick POS.
@@LaRepubliqueEnMasque bingo.
Good point
@@LaRepubliqueEnMasque VERY well said!!!
Once they announced they would be cleaning the house I knew they had a suspect. And the Chief Fry was smiling during the last interwiev and was so calm. But a serial killer? This never crossed my mind. There must be a connection to the dead students.
So glad they found this person. Looking forward to hearing why he committed this horrific act.
We want him to explain
🎯
Good luck with that.
I highly doubt he cares about what strangers on the internet want.
Like every suspect, he can plead guilty or not gulity--if so, he won't talk.
Prayers! Being said!
Wonder if he's done it before?
Dead eyes!..Those two girls that were not killed will need therapy!
I am SO happy for the parents of these kids! Finally the news they have waited so long for! I admire their strength and faith.
Who's waiting for the first dedicated crime video into how this all went down? 🤲
I'll be waiting to watch the live-streamed trial.
Undoubtedly there was DNA evidence left behind by the killer.
Agree had to be with 4 people killed
There’s rumors of a broken nose, and we all know how the blood flows out of a broken nose ....
Look into his eyes. Imagine looking him in the eye, in person, wow.
Of Course, innocent until proven guilty.
Soul vacant eyes.
Very much so. Creepy.
As doctor loomis once said- “The blackest eyes, the devil’s eyes”
What a way to finish the year .great work law enforcement 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I wonder how the hate mobs feel now about having harassed their family and friends who are grieving and other random people with no evidence of anything.
The question now is why? What was the motive?
@taramcgavan7654 Really? Wad the white car that connection?
To pull off the perfect murder. Nothing worse than a narcissistic, psychopath who is also a criminology phd. Edit: IF THIS IS THE RIGHT GUY!
@Tara Mcgavan kia or hyundai,?????
Likely the motive was hubris or pride in thinking that he could pull off the perfect murder based on his extensive knowledge and education. I'm curious to know what were evidence that eventually led to him. Bet he overlooked those.
@Tara Mcgavan That's what lead to his demise? Well his life is finished at least!
When a 28 yrs old looks like 41 yrs old middle school science teacher.
They better stream the trial.
They will. Count on it.
I’ll have my popcorn ready
Boy will take a plea lol.
Im ready to watch it lol
I swear when men complain about anything with women it makes me nauseous. Considering the absolute horrors men commit against women, children and even other men, they have ZERO room to whine about women being picky or naggy or fkn anything. Women are angels compared to men. That's a FACT.
Holy moly…. This is NONE of those that rumors (edit: from some of the internet sleuths) speculated on. This is so out of left field!!! Amazing job to all law enforcement officers❤
Can't believe this guy was found not far from where I live. Watching this crime in Idaho, I never thought the murderer would be just up the highway! I wonder why he came to PA.

I am so happy that all the people that complained and criticized the PD are now vocalizing their regrets and apologizing.
In heinous murder/crimes like this, the only option should be the death penalty. With DNA, videos, forensic science, and over crowded prisons, it is time to revisit the death penalty.
I agree
May the victims rest in peace...beautiful souls...so sad
Seems like police knew what they were doing all along... Who would have thought. This is wonderful news!

Go talk to the parents in Uvalde.
But you can't really blame them for bad talking. Whether it was warranted or not. It was their child. Unless you have lost a child to murder... you will never understand. And I always back the blue in most cases... not all.
