- I did a low-budget DIY to mount the Adventure Kings 30L Drawer Fridge to my drawer top. Incorporating the Jackery power station on top of the fridge. More usable space and functional layout.

So Happy your back!!!
Well done. For a Kings fridge, they are actually very robust and reliable. Mates had his for quite some time now, and his impressed.
Well done, girl 🙏
I had a similar issue with my Oztrail 80L fridge. In the end, I stacked my drawers and had the fridge beside them. Worked great and saved having to buy anything for that part of the upgrade I did.
I’m so glad that took up welding and fabrication I think that it has help you to make some of your Owen things great work 😊
I am impressed..good job
That training really came in handy!
I really need to convert my fridges MC connectors to Anderson. Those MC connectors are a PITA when you don't have much of fingernails.
Shove it in alright 😊
I went to a new Kings Superstore here in Perth the other day, everything was 50% off for 2 days, it was packed ,Understandably.
Neve seen a slide out fridge.....I like this set up. You new hair color looks amazing on you....that color outfit pops the hair color.
Nicely done, should work just fine and looks good
... So many skills, you are clever... Inspiring, you are 🙏
Nice job monique, 😊 your hair colour looks good too 😊 ❤ from rick in Perth Australia 🇦🇺
KOOOOOL!!!👍👍🤙🤙
Good for you
I like that fridge!!
Nice job! Looks great. Love the red hair too, looks hot! 😉
I have the same Kings fridge and love it! My only gripe is i have to lay down my milk bottles and they always leak...
Ya it's on the shorter side. I would pour baileys into a small shaker bottle and it just fits..
You’re amazing
What the hell you do for work In life wow good job
I would have liked to fit a drawer-fridge in my Land Rover but I just need the drawers, as drawers, too much.
I suppose I could've fitted the fridge into the back and then turned the remaining space into a top-opening storage bin but that seemed a bit shonky.
I have 12v sockets all over the car so I just have a 40l fridge and it gets moved around to wherever it's not in the way, or where it's needed.
My dog likes it when the fridge is in the passenger footwell so she can sit on the front seat and then lie down on top of the fridge.
I run the same you can also put in the travel oven and in the bottom of the draw put some plastic cardboard helps the fridge cycles less enjoy
I have the same setup and you might need to run the temp a bit lower as we do down under.
Couldn’t you wire it direct or a wire in a twelve volt plug in in the back of the vehicle? Or will it kill the car battery to quickly? Maybe you said the answer with the 2 battery comment. Great to see you in a video again I hope you keep them coming.
The main battery is not connected to a constant power plug. And i’m not planning to since I have no solar to provide input to the battery when vehicle is not running. Like you said, don’t want to kill the battery. I had a dual battery setup in my last vehicle and would use constant power from the second battery. That way you don’t kill the starter battery.
How is the thermal retention efficiency on this? Does the compressor run often? Mainly thinking about battery usage compared to a thick walled chest fridge.
When you were in North America, were you driving this same vehicle?
I am in North America with this LC100 right now.
@@OverlandLady Oh thanks, good to know!
I live here….
We went with a kings fridge, one that has the top lid but the hinges are on the long side and it opens from either side. So convenient! How hard is MIG alu compared to steel? I tried TIG alu once and it was a disaster so I'm hesitant to get the stuff to try MIG alu.
I’ve never done TIG steel so couldn’t compare. Only TIG Alu. Mig is easy. Doesn’t have the sparking sound like steel. Drag on Alu (i push on steel).
Why not just get a short extension cord with a few plugs on the end of it so you don't have to move the Jackery
The button controls are still on the jackery unit itself. Turning the AC on and off still need to crawl
Shipping would lhave cost more than the fridge 😂😂😂
Shipping was close to the fridge cost but not quite haha. yes the fridge is very cheap
