    I get raw milk from a clean dairy here in Massachusetts, Westport. After one glass I can breath much freer through my nose. Thank God for these people who do their best to educate and give us HEALTHY food.

    It would be my wish that every farmer in America would join Mr. Noble and embrace the concept of growing organic crops and loving their animals and caring humanely for them and keeping barns clean and letting the cows pasture. It is illegal in the state of NC to buy raw milk. How can that even be? If I choose to purchase clean, unpasteurized, unhomogenized milk whose business is that but mine? The govt. tells me what kind of milk I can and cannot drink? They need to step back. They are certainly encroaching on my rights. But I can buy cigarettes and kill myself with the cancer they will cause? Big $$$$ in that, right?

    Paul really hit the nail on the head in saying that we consumers need to change our demands if we truly want our health and the environment to change for the better. if we continue to support conventional farmers by buying their products, then things will never change. Find a local farmer that produces organic pasture-fed raw milk and support them. If enough of us do it, conventional farmers may finally get the hint and we can start to see real change!!

    Thank You, I used to work on the farm when I was young. I used to drink the fresh, cold milk out of the churns, before it got Basted-ized. I was very fit & healthy!
    You are spot on, this problem is down to the continuously bad governments, that only think of MONEY. Have a great day.

    Support your health by supporting your local farmers. Pastured-fed raw milk is not only healthier than pasteurized dairy but also a more humane way to raise animals.
    Many people that are "lactose intolerant" are actually pasteurization intolerant.

    • @Ov3rshot

      This! I thought I was lactose intolerant, almost destroyed my body by going off milk and on sugar for 10 years. Had first raw milk since about '95 and no issues. I haven't felt better in years!
      Also, raw milk tastes and smells 10x better than any store bought fake milk. And it has ZERO added refined sugar.

    I watched Food inc last night and the movie showed cows in horrid conditions. They had tortured looks on their faces and their suffering was obvious. But this man's cows look loved and super healthy. I am just stunned at the difference. These cows have a sense of peace in their eyes and their skin has a beautiful sheen. This farmer obviously knows what he is doing. I can tell that by the way he talks as well as the condition of his cows. What more evidence do you need?

    as a conventional dairy dairy farmer I will say its the co ops and bottling plants hew control how we farm . the co op tells us what they are going to pay us the we just have to make it work or quit farming . I will say sins I have quit conventional farming I have gotten back the love for the cows they are not just a number any more .

      Raw milk saved my niece's life when she was an infant, she threw up all the formula she would take, her mother could not breast-feed, store-bought milk she threw it all up as well.
      She was losing weight, her hair was not even growing right, the doctor was concerned that they were looking at a feeding tube and/or drips to keep her alive if she did not start gaining weight.
      My uncle made my father and me go down the road to get a gallon of raw milk, got it came back to put it in a bottle. warmed it up and see if she will even take it, she could not drink it fast enough, afterward when she was burped it was an impressive belch and very little spittle came up.
      In no time she started to gain weight, her hair started to grow in thick, today she is an Accountant.

    our hay fields were going to complete milk weed and we sprayed the fields and put down lime i think the better rout would have been to work the land and aplicate seed and that will most likely over come the weeds and milk weed is a root weed and it makes a network and if you get rid of the roots there is not so i think it would have been wiser of us to work the land but things are so expansive that as a hay farmer it would kill us to do that all over spraying

    Best quote he made, "If I was a conventional farmer, I don't feel I could sell safe raw milk." - Paul Noble
    But then again, with the new research being done on even pasteurized conventionally produced milk, personally I don't think he would feel comfortable selling ANY milk as safe! Factory farming has to go! Plants and animals!

    How long does raw milk last ?

    • @lotstolearn5350
      @lotstolearn5350 5 лет назад +1

      It doesn't spoil; it changes form. Left on the counter (kitchen bench) it turns into a thin or thick yogurt, depending on the season temperature.

    I only drink raw milk, I also don't believe in artificial insemination and milking the animal through a pregnancy. Dairying is a biological process, when you start to make it an industrial process, it affects the animal, and the consumer.

    • @jg5755
      @jg5755 Год назад

      Artificial Insemination is much safer for heifers and it means you aren't using up precious pasture feeding a huge, potentially very dangerous animal that you only need once a year. It also enables you to use the very best genetics for your breeding goals instead of any old bull who could make huge calves and kill your cows.
      Cows are pregnant for 9 months. After that they begin to reproductively cycle from 6 weeks after giving birth. They will cycle reproductively every 16-21 days thereafter and during those times they will be very unsettled, stressing out the other members of the herd by jumping on them, barely eating and so producing less milk. You think they aren't producing hormones when they cycle?
      A pregnant cow is a calm cow. And by leaving them unbred there's always the danger of them putting on too much weight which actually makes giving birth unsafe for them.

    Ok, so I have a few questions 1) Is milk important to our dietary needs 2) Why are we the only mammal that drink milk from another mammal 3) What are the issues if there are any that can come from drinking raw milk

    • @broeklien3817
      @broeklien3817 6 лет назад +5

      1) we need milk as infants to grow well and fast. After that milk is not needed but it is very nutritious and just like meat and eggs it helped us thrive in areas where we could not gather other food all day and all year, where we needed our time to make shelters and work the land.
      2) we do it because we can. We are intelligent enough to exploit other animals to our advantage
      3) drinking raw milk is something that is easy for people that grew up with it because your stomach has to be introduced to it gradually.
      Some people have a milk allergy or intolerance that can have mild to very severe symptoms.
      People dont need milk, but they also dont need beer or chocolate or doughnuts or pizza.....but to me it is my favorite food. Versatile, comforting and creamy. I love raw milk, it tastes so much sweeter than pasteurised milk.
      I think every farmer will be organic in the future. That is the direction it is going in. Its just going slower than we want. But we'll get there...😊

    • @calotcha108
      @calotcha108 6 лет назад

      It's one of the most important foods for the human body cos it has almost everything you need in it. There are no issues that can come from drinking raw milk. People with allergies to milk have developed the allergy from drinking pasteurized milk, which is where the problem is. If these ppl try raw milk, most likely that they won't experience any allergies whatsoever.

      Of course drinking milk is okay. Think about what it actually is. Mother's milk is literally the perfect nutritious concoction for a human. And humans are animals. And animals aren't even that different than us.
      Milk is a nutritious BOMB. It has many many minerals and vitamins. It replenishes you!
