Thanks so much for the help. Your video was very clear and easy to understand. Just one thing, you didn't mention adding the "slug" to the menu items. Next time around.
I don't understand WordPress default theme 2022 does not have those options under "Appearance." It only has Themes, Editor. No more Menu function. I'm trying to figure out how to live without it.
Same for me. What Linda says is right. My older themes still have Menu under Appearance, but the newer themes only list Themes, Editor (beta), Customize, and Additional CSS. The author of this video is so clear an good at explaining things. If you could explain how to do navigation menus in the newer themes, a lot of people would be grateful.
Thanks for the video. One question concerning the menu tab. How can i change the background color of one menu Button. For example white Background for "Galleries" with Blue text? or how can i have a button with a red border? Thanks in advance
Hey, I don't know why but the "Main Menu" box you tick at the end isn't showing up for me. I've tried to create a new menu but it still isn't there. All thats coming up is: "Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu" and "Primary Navigation" which i ticked primary navigation but it still doesn't work when I test it on my site. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
I created a WP site and am having some issues with the Menu. My menu is a traditional menu across the top of the landing page. The issues I'm having: 1. Positioning the Menu: how do I change the position? It's currently on the Right, would like to make it on the Left. 2. I have three options along the Menu: Contact, Portfolio, and Linkedin. If I add a 4th option it goes to a default of arranging these options in 2 columns, despite being plenty of room to add double the options! How do I arrange it to be horizontal? And also, how can I adjust the spacing of the options? Maybe I need to edit HTML? But there is no option. Or, maybe I need to Subscribe or get a plugin to achieve what I want to do? Please advise. Thanks!
Hi I have a menu name eg. A and when one clicks on it , it goes to a url. Now I only want name A to be a name and have some as sub categories name only and sub categories posts under that. How do I make a name and remove the linked pages to a sub category page. I have a rehub them but could probably use wordpress to do. Thanks
Please, I have a problem. On my WordPress website, I can't save changes to the menu. When I add a new category to the menu and try to save it by clicking on "Save Menu", I get a "PAGE NOT FOUND 404" error and the changes are not saved. I have tried everything - permalinks, htaccess, etc. PLEASE HELP ME.

Exactly, it's so confusing. This video doesn't apply to the newest version of WP I guess :(
@@paulinazurawska2577 there is an option to change the view to the older version, if you look at the top right corner
@@rayyfire5738 I changed to the older version, but still no menu option under “Appearance” 😥

I cant see Menu option under appearance. Is it due to selection of a particular Theme? What kind of theme then I should select for ecommerce

Categories? I was expecting "editing menus." Your title says "How to Edit Menu." So categories and menus are the same thing?
