wordpress 6.2.2 doesn't have the MENU by default under Appearance. they've changed and now is a nightmare
IM completely lost, the MENU option is gone and I have no idea how to do it

They just slapped "2024" on the title and called it a day.

Imagine for someone new at all this - I'm just trying to change a nav menu item link to point to a different page. It's impossible to figure out. For something that should be so basic and simple, its absurd to be so unintuitive!

Wordpress is the worst website software I've ever used! Nothing is logical or familiar. I was going to follow step-by-step to your instructions. First, there was no "Appearance" tab on my sidebar menu. Second, there is no "menu" tab anywhere! Your guide is only 7 months old! I have to use Wordpress because it was selected by the previous webmaster who gave up on it since he could not figure it out! Ugh!
This is because they wrote '2024' in their title but it actually only applies to the old interface from several years ago. This video should be removed as it is essentially just click-bait with no relevancy to the new 2024 interface.

What theme are you using? WP 2023 theme does not have menu selection.

Dudette, no. Not in 2024.
I am using this horrible theme called furnitrix. Its a block editor, what a nightmare. 😮
In 2024, theme Twenty Twenty Four menu is not there any-more. Actually nothing is there anymore.

Don't bother with this. The steps are no longer functional in WP. Should take this video down.

That's because this video is click-bait: it does NOT apply to the year 2024... complete waste of time to watch... it's the OLD interface not the 2024 version. Unethical creeps making these videos!
