It happened again in 'love me like you do' and after those songs, her style of music, lyrics, overall esthetics, changed and maybe for the worse. Her style then was sooo honest, real and different, and now... Her songs sound like everything and nothing like hers. This probably the price of success, selling your truth. The first time I heard this song was on the radio about 1 am in summer time . I was driving on a country road in the back of Edinburgh City Centre. . I was driving over a cobble stone little bridge and in the distance the full moon was so big in the sky and was lighting up a little church in the middle of a field.. I was lost and had never been on this road .. this vision along with the Chorus of Explosions left me dumb founded. . I felt as if I was in a movie. . What a magical moment. . I felt pain and joy simultaneously. . I made it to my destination and on my way back home to Glasgow after my night shift I pulled into the motorway service station as I could not stay awake. I looked this song up on you tube.. I had never heard of Ellie Goulding. . I listened to it again and cried.. don't know why.. A truly amazing song and like many other comments. . Very under rated. . I went home and learned to play it on guitar and love singing it.. She is up there with one of the most amazing Angelic voices I have ever heard. Love me like you do and Still falling for you are my favourites too : )

BBC1's "The Voice" just brought me here. Never heard of this song or artist before but what a beautiful song and what a great voice. The lyric "it's OK to be afraid" took me back almost 40 year when as a 6 or 7 year old I was crying about something. Most family members were telling me to stop crying but an uncle saw that I was really upset and told me to just let all the tears out and I would feel better if I did.... I've never forgotten that. Ah...childhood memories!
