Great video, Alana. Your insights on using AI for research are always so informative. I’ve found Myko Assistant really helpful for accuracy and depth in research compared to Perplexity. It organizes information nicely and saves a lot of time.
I have a question. For a Research paper, does it has a knowledge cut-off limitation, as September 2021? I wonder if I could access the recent papers or literature on specific topic. What's your thought on that? Thank you 😊
Tbh I prefer Krawl AI over Perplexity. It's more work-focused and I can get lot more things done using it because of the "tools" concept they introduced. Plus they are adding new tools to it almost every other week. It's not necessarily great for scientific research yet, but still more useful than Perplexity in other use cases I think

Scispace is entirely based on research articles. Where as perplexity, is doing a general search. The thing about perplexity (and some other tools) is that they are taking steps to link sources which is decreasing the hallucinations.
perplexity is not as accurate as chatgpt....it is fast yes....but can be misleading particularly to person who is new in the subject. Can be unreliable.
Honestly, I have found every ai chatbot to be misleading or straight inaccurate at some time. This is why I always give the disclaimer to check anything from any AI source.
The research field based on which you make your presentation is to abstract to difficult for general audience and because of that presentation loose some of it's value.
