I'll be honest, my favorite part of that video is the kid doing the Till Hammer while Till looks on.

"Ohne Dich" is a great video for a beautiful ballad born from the Mutter era when they nearly broke up, but found ways to work better together as colleagues and friends. "Radio" is one of my favourites from their previous album, dealing with radio censorship, life in the GDR (East Germany), and a general commentary of the importance of music/freedom of the airwaves. "Haifisch" is a great video that makes references to many of their other previous videos and pays homage to Bertolt Brecht's Threepenny Opera (The Ballad of Mackie Messer). "Rosenrot" is a great video and the lyrics pay homage to Goethe's poem "Heidenröslein".
Opninion on angst? Great video with lot of things in the world we live today.

Rammstein never fails to make inappropriate videos and lyrics 😂😂 but they also never fail to have absolutely awesome but simple riffs!! They introduced me to this genre when I was like 8 or so, only like 3 years after they released their debut album, and I hope they make music for many more years to come. I will never get enough of them lol

Wir hatten nur Schlager (volkstümliche Musik und ein paar englische Hits) Baujahr 1971 Aber am Ende hab ich mich durchgehört und es ist Rammstein übrig geblieben.

Ppl want a concert after they release an album, and they must have a hard time with it these days getting up there with age. Yes I was 8 when I started listening to them. I know it's young lol but I guess I was always one to do things others didn't and got introduced to Rammstein very young. I loved them so much right away. My dad was not happy about that though 😂 my mom didn't care though but my dad hated it lol but I kept listening to them in secret anyway 😁 I was a rebel 😂
And I'm not surprised that rammstein made it to the end. They are amazing. Their riffs and drum work are simple but so good. Good thing about that, they are easy songs to learn on the guitar and drums lol
Lyrics and video complement each other by 50 %, as is usually the case in Rammsetin videos.
On the first layer it can be seen as a pure fun song, just well suited under the influence of alcohol at parties, concerts or folk festivals to simply shout along like the Till character in the video.

The first music video I saw from Rammstein was "Ohne Dich" and I was immediately infected. The song about a toxic passion paired with an epic video just blew me away back then and is still one of my favorite videos
Till Lindemann also has solo work. For example the great song/video (and lyrcis) 'Ich Hasse Kinder'. But he also has very calm classical music like Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag with violinist David Garrett, or the beautiful french song Le jardin des larmes with ZAZ.
Or his other project together with Peter Tägtgren called 'Lindemann'. They have two albums and one live dvd. It includes rap music, tango music and very VERY extreme music videos that are not available on youtube.

Personally, my favourite is "Du riechst so gut '98". The song was the first single from their debut album but they weren't satisfied with the original video (from 1995), which was intentionally reduced and restrained in design,
so they made the new one, accompanying the re-release of the single with some new remixes, which is kind of an adult Little Red Riding Hood version.
A comparsion between their original "Seemann" (second single from the debut album) with the 2003 cover by the Finnish symphonic metal group Apocalyptica feat. Nina Hagen (known in Germany as "The Godmother of Punk") would be interesting too.
It is still my favourite song too.
Rammstein obviously also made fun of the German stereotypes, especially those known across the world thanks to Oktoberfest, and the American perpetuated views of Germany, thanks to the Americans occupying Bavaria and Hesse after WW2. The intro and the outro are very obviously the typical Bavarian brass Volksmusik / folk music. That knee-slapping dance is known as the Schuhplattler / the shoe-slapper, and is a real Bavarian folk-dance, where first the upper thighs, the knees, the calves, and then the rims or even soles of your shoes are slapped, while staying as upright as possible, all to the typical Polka rhythm of the brass music.
That they combined it with their own industrial metal style is their twist on the genre.
So with the title being "Big Boobs", the very revealing Dirndl traditional Bavarian female dress emphasizing and increasing the visual aspect of boobs, and all the innuendos of 'farm life' being sexualized it is a really fun song.
Rosenrot it has a bit of a reference to the flower Till is trampling at the end of the video.

There is a say in germany, that you shouldn't listen to Rammstein while beating schnitzel, because it doesn't fit into the pan anymore after that. Think that they wanted to show in this scene, that they are aware of that say. ;)
For me "Dicke Titten" is the second best song after "Angst" on that album.

Are you sure? I get that they sound similar, but it would make more sense in the Blaskapelle-setting to play “Muss i denn” which is an older folk song, also with a very similar melody. I thought maybe “Das Lied der Partei” had taken inspiration from the former, but couldn’t find anything on it in my quick Google search.
The album "Zeit" was probably the last album of Rammstein for ever (read the lyrics of the last song "Adieu"). I hope there will be a last "Live-Album" from there world-tour, which had begun in may 2022. And i hope also, that Till Lindemann goes on solo.

I love "Mann gegen Mann".... the video is ....interesting to say the least, and like all that Rammstein does pretty challenging. "Mein Teil" and "Ausländer" have great videos as well.
Im not sure why "mann gegen mann" is so rarely recommended, it's so sick and it's anti - homophobia themed, maybe that's weird for some, the music video is how you would expect from rammstein😂. "Ausländer" and "mein herz brennt" are also sick! Whatever, i saw them live a week ago💥😁

"Radio" is great video and music too. It's fun (of course, sexual explicit elements are not missing), but also a political metaphor. At the time of the division of Germany into two parts - in communist Germany there was only one connection to the free world radio (they sing "my ears have become my eyes"). The radio waves could not be beaten or arrested by the police. Definitely need to read the lyrics first (or have subtitles)
Love this song by Rammstein. If you guys want to listen to a new band try out a band called Band-Maid. They're an all female hard rock band from Japan and they are very good. They're playing a tour in the US in October after they play at Aftershock Festival. Good song to start off with is Domination Official Live video

The music video for Amerika really does tie ibto the lyrics of both silly but brutally true in its words, Mann gagen Mann is one not many do reviews on, both videos for mein herz brennt the panio and first versions are great, ich will is nice to watch not first but after a few of the old videos too!
Whenever I get the chance I wear my Amerika shirt, most think it's patriotic, very few do a double take and makes for a good laugh.

The intro was an old german folk song, there is a famous cover version , by Elvis Presley in the sixthys . I am not sure, but the outro came from the national brass orchestra in Dresden, I love it 😍

Loved it. Big strong women who are equals to the men. I believe it was the priest stealing that womans clothes off the line and dressing up and that's why the women at the end of the video are taunting him. So many hidden meanings.
