I don't know what it is but I get a good feel for El Salvador just watching these videos I think it's because they haven't ruined it with high rise tourist apartments - all the properties seem to blend in. Love the artwork on the walls too.
If you want to go, go soon is my advice it will change, it is changing and will end up like Bali

This has been an incredible education about El Salvador. Experienced vibrant cities, Mayan ruins, beautiful nature including a crater lake and tropical beaches. You managed to bring to life this developing nation beautifully through your camera lens and commentary. Loved this series.😊❤
I love the Rustic places . Not develop yet but not cheap .If Bit Coin keeps going up ,who knows. El Savador may be the place to be . Rich and Sexy .
@@farmerboy8659 Yes definitely potential there, just as long as it’s not over developed, You don’t want to lose any of the character either. 👍
Their murals and street art are incredible ! beautiful place.✌✨
Gabe, thanks for introducing us to the beach life of Playa El Zonte. It was a blast & you didn't have to fight the crowds you see at other resorts in areas close by like Mexico & Costa Rico. This area & previous areas have so much potential, & I'm sure there will be more developement to bring in more tourists in the future.
Good series, loved watching it.The country has beauty and life looks simple and peaceful there.
something serene and peaceful yet thrilling, the dove singing in the background was hauntingly beautiful. Great spectrum of energies, MUCHAS GRACIAS! Me gusta, the beach.
I love the local life, so much better than over comercialize touristy stuff
Thanks, a good tour of the country.
Loved the El Salvador content. Went to Costa Rica laat year. Loved it. Plan to vist more Central American countries. El Salvador is on the list now.
Well this place looks fantastic!! That refreshing drink and shrimp tacos !! 🙌👍🍻
After seeing your videos on El Salvador, it’s definitely a place I want to go.

Wow, you are very smart and analiytical
Thanks for your compliments
I feel honored with your appreciations
Be well
El Tunco is a beach for surfing, tournaments and crazy parties on weekends at night
El Zonte is to relax in some restaurant or on the shore
There are better nearby beaches like Costa del Sol, Playa San Blas, Las Flores They are a better option
but the best beaches are on the coast of
Ahuachapán has a beautiful beach, the largest in the country without rocks, Barra de Santiago and other small ones like Garita Palmara
Sonsonate beach los cobanos, los almendras, costa azul great options
the cities of San Miguel and La Unión They have very good beaches but the heat there is more intense
I've not seen a coastline with so many rocks, and those tacos looked tasty.
Thank you for the beautiful series of El Salvador. It helped my to know this country, which I have underrated before.I particularly like the video entitled ''Hotel Luxury& Local Poverty in the country of El Salvador showing the resort, the lakes with ocean water and the great Pacific Ocean. Take a rest and pay attention to your health problems. I am looking forward to your future travel adventures.
Greetings from Canada: Thanks for promoting our country El Salvador as a good destination.
Nice series on El Sal. Safe travels.
Great series on El Salvador and how they are progressing. I hear you when you say it’s is freakin hot…we are currently in Merida MX …average temp since we arrived is 37c. Way too hot but very interesting Mayan culture, Spanish Colonialism….much like El Savador. Good luck at the dentist and enjoy your time off.
The food looks awesome! Enjoy your time Gabriel☀️🕶️🌮 we miss you here in Europe..
Thank you Gabriel for showing El Salvador 😁🤝 🇸🇪
Gabe is the last California hippie, born 30 years too late. Gotta love him!
It’s good to see you having a good time ❤
Thanks for showing!
I was hanging out 90% of my time at Olas Permanente. Great location great vibes!!! Food is ok cheap beers!!! And yes El zonte grows on you fast. Greatest chill vibes!!!!
Cool video, Gabe. Just FYI you were in what locals call "summer time" or dry season in El Salvador which is from November to April which explains the heat.
Too bad you're leaving already.. I just looked up Miradores del Pacifico over looking the islands of the Gulf of Fonseca.. looks beautiful!
STAY THIRSTY MY FRIEND ! 💥💣💢💣💥
Ha, definitely. ✌️🍺
now this is authentic country love from 🇬🇪
Bravo on this brief series. Good+ content and editing. Glad I found your channel and I'm looking forward to future installments. Keep on keepin' on...
Nice trip! Videos were awesome! El Salvador seems a jewel hidden in so many troubles in the past, I'm glad to see the country safety has improved big time.
Gabe! The himalayas of India miss u :D Jokes apart nice series, cool little place.
The feeling is mutual.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Haha, happy to hear that. cheers!
Zonte is nicer than El Tunco for a Lot of people too, but the waves for surfing in El Tunco somehow are better Quality for all levels of surfers or it is much bigger surf spot, and by the way, in a few weeks Zonte Will be with more rocks at the beach too.
What a wonderful beach. I guess that's why El Salvador is so special because it has different type of beaches. Beautiful place definitely my next place to visit.
Loving this one Gabe
Hi Gabriel, El Salvador resemble with so many African Countries. A land of Poverty & Prosperity!
Can’t believe Gabriel walked all those rocks barefoot .
I love how you read and absorb everything around you. I almost booked to El Salvador last week in the hopes of finding a beach. I was in Bogota and missing sunshine. I ended up going to San Andres and from there I flew to Santa Marta where I currently am ( In the Bello Horizonte area away from the party Rodadero area). What discourage me from going to El Salvador was the cost of things. Although the flight was super cheap, the food and lodging were more expensive. Thank you for another great video.😊
Love it Gabriel 😊❤😎☀️🌊
You have to remember, El Zonte is a tourist trap, hence the menu prices. there are more reasonable prices elsewhere.
I still think the prices for the food are cheaper in El Salvador, there is no way you can get those prices in the USA specially for seafood my friend, thanks for visiting our beautiful country
Yes, but these prices are too high
@carmenmejia6529
Yeah, go to any popular beach area in the United States and see how much a seafood dinner costs.
Minimum wage in El Salvador is only 1.25 an hour, not 18 dollars like in California or New York. According to local people I have asked, everything is at the same level of prices like we have here in the United States, sometimes even higher.
Nearby countries with a better tourist infrastructure and more developed in every sense, are much cheaper like Guatemala which is a real beautiful country that deserves to be visited
Solid point, depends on the restaurant and location but somewhere touristy on the beach in the US would probably be a bit more expensive.
Carmen, get real. Food costs are much less in El Salvador than in the USA. Therefore restaurant prices should reflect that. Gabe has exposed this problem
I hope you enjoy el salvador.you take care Gby.
Thank you Gabe. It's been amazing to follow yet another of your adventures!
really good stuff brother

I can totally see this place becoming a kind of Ibiza, Bali etc
Suspect real estate will 10x or so around El Zonte.
prices skyrocketed all ove the country 2 years ago... sucks for the locals. the housing market has gone bananas.. no bueno
probably 10 years if can maintain the safety and good reputation so far.
ahaha..i went to that same restaurant. maybe even that same table!

Good morning from Arizona 7 AM 62 degrees.
Did you brush your teeth and clean yourself this morning Sandy?

Wow you're going to need to do a lot of swimming to get rid of those tacos😂
On vacay I wouldnt even worry bout it.
I nkow the the rocks they get pretty hot that's the fun........just like California during summer walking barefoot on Santa Monica pier. enjoy!
El Salvador seems to be really cool 🍺🍺
go to guachalito beach near Nuqui, on the pacific side of colombia
You need beach shoes . The sand is too hot 😂😂😂
That's a paramotor
Good to know, never heard that term before.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos I want to learn how to fly one.
Good luck! 👍✌️
A Paraglider needs a hill or a winch to launch. Paramotors can be launched from a completely flat field. So, if the guy on the beach just launched from the flat beach, he is on a Paramotor.
Come on Jakes, that's hard to believe
Seeing is believing.
Love watching your Awesome Adventures Gabriel Thank You🙂❤👍Hope to see you Travel from one end of Cuba to the other end sometime in the near Future. Cuba is Beautiful and some really Great People too.🙂Watching from NB Canada.🙂

if you want cheap food go to southeastasia or southasia
Good idea: ruclips.net/video/7Ok9sGor4ig/видео.html
Keep selling!
Prices not as cheap as I expected for food.
👍👍👍
The difference from 2022 to 2024 in prices is crazy:
2022
20 tomatos for $1.
5 large prawns, rice and chips on the beach $10.
Bano 25 cents.
2024:
4 tomatoes for $1,
$15 for 3 small prawns, rice and chips.
Bano $5 im not kidding one beach restaurant was charging $5 to use the restroom 🤣
El Salvador is and will always be my favourite place in the world but some places are more expensive than Australia 🦘 and my family from my wifes side that live there are struggling .
Hi Gabriel, I have the impression that your videos from El Salvador have provoked many negative reactions for focusing on poverty and the high prices of its hotels and restaurants. Also the lack in that country of a good tourist infrastructure.
However it's important for you to be objective and project the reality of each country. Your videos could be very useful in case that some of your followers decide to visit the same places you are exploring
I hope my opinion is not removed from the comments
Thanks
Some people will always have negative attitude.
@@parulsinha3092some people speak the truth Saheeb
About the price is crazy they thought because some people started paying those high price without saying anything so now they thinking all tourists can pay.
Few years ago pupusas were only 25 cents now is 1.5 dollars is bad
Hey Gabe. Any cool hippy beach towns and hangouts from central America you want to recommend? Cheers, great videos :)

Gabe - I mean this only in a respectful way but in listening to you tell of your 'barefoot in the woods' ways of your youth, 50+ you is still mostly the same guy; no Ritz Carltons anytime soon, LOL.
Where are you missing most .?
It rhymes with grease.
😊❤🇧🇦
Gabriel, why not interview some creative locals on occasion? It would be interesting to hear from the parachute enthusiasts.
I'm not interested in hearing parachute boy speak. Sorry, yeah.
I think you should put a shirt on when going into a restaurant.
If it's beachside then it's ok
@@JonnieSlade-fh2cg No, it's not - it's disrespectful to other diners, and I used to work as a waitress in a seaside resort.
I'm from El Salvador and we actually don't care about that, also it is in front of the beach.
@@witlof5492 it's unfortunate that you felt disrespected, but it might have been better if you worked at an inland restaurant where shirts are expected and required

Hi Gabriel, you know they use that fan glider to breached the fence in Israel. Even though you have a dental appointment you still manage to get away for a few days and had a good time in the process and all is not lost many things to check around Northern California. of course you still want to produce videos and keep you viewers entertained much passion there and of course there's always something to see and do.
How safe is El Salvador? I wanna go.
I will discuss that in the next video.
That's probably why there no people at the beach...locals know better, probably more people come for sunset...
@gabrieltraveler dude im inEl Zonte. If you see a guy on a bicycle in a blue shirt its me
No way man, that's awesome. Unfortunately I actually left yesterday. I just landed in San Francisco. It would have been cool to meet up. Have a fun ride.
How do the Locals afford it?
You just don't get it, do ya?
You can get that tooth fix in El Salvador they know for that
For those saying in comments that this is expensive and calling it American prices, seriously try compare that menu in the beginning with a beach restaurant in Hawaii or South Beach, Florida. It should be compared to that and not some local place in Des Moines.
Mr Keeper, there's much better value in Mexico. ES is not on my list. Sorry, yeah.
I am sorry but you can not compare the beauty of Hawaii with el Salvador.
El Salvador is still in rustic conditions and El Salvador is still developing its tourist industry. Maybe in ten years that country will be better prepared to receive international tourists
